Theres an Adrian Wilson joke here somewhere
-
So basically best case he's Brandon spikes, except brandon spikes is proven
Lol what?! Except Spikes is older, slower and out of the league. Ridiculous.
proven? HES OUT OF THE LEAGUE!!!!

I'm starting to think trade back into round 2; grab a DT & LB and finally a late round OT and call it a day. If Taylor flames out, our pick will be high anyways trade up and get the best guy net year. Our D will be mostly rebuilt and possibly only need safety and possibly right side OL help...
As much as I would love a #2 WR, we have Watkins, Shady, Woods and Clay and are a run first offense - I suppose we could wait on that. If you could get Jarren Reed and Ragland, do it and call it a day
This. Although id like to see us pick up Ragland and Jack and get Reader in the 4th along w an OL. I think getting Lawson, Jack, Ragland and Reader. Would be a win

I tried to stay away from this one because I like Robert, always have. IMO he's definitely a #2 and seeing the likes of Moulds and Reed acknowledging this, I feel better about having Woods on the team as a #2. He played through a groin injury, new HC,new OC, new QB, new scheme, etc. He should get this season as a #2 to show he can do it. If he is healthy and doesn't produce, then we should look for a # 2. Having said this, if we find someone to overtake him as the #2, I'm all for it, but I don't see this as a real issue unless he doesn't recover from the groin injury.
100℅ my thoughts

If Paxton lynch falls to us there will be many trade down options to be had. Or we draft him and let him sit behind Taylor. If Taylor has bad year we have insurance policy. If he had great year and demands high money we have "leverage" with lynch
Sounds like great way to ensure a "QB controversy". Which can disrupt both QBs development and if that happens we'll be stuck with neither of them being a franchise QB IMO.

Walter Football lists the top 3-4 NTs as, in this order:
Kenny Clark
Jarran Reed
A'Shawn Robinson
Vernon Butler
Sheldon Rankins
Read more at http://walterfootball.com/draft2016positionreviewDT.php#IA0ctZp2AA4yAgrv.99
Reed is listed as best 5-tech and best run defender. If he is there, that's a good fit.He goes to the Bills in RD3 in this week's DraftTek mock.http://www.drafttek.com/2016-NFL-Mock-Draft-Round3.asp
I don't see a lot of talk on here about Sheldon Day. How does he fit as a 3-4 nose?

as stated earlier in this thread I'm a huge fan of Weight as well. If we could trade down and pick up an extra 2nd and somehow grab Cravens, an OT and Wright with our first 3 picks along with a NT later in the draft like Reader, Id be pretty happy.
-
I watch a lot of USC (but not a ton of other college ball for the past two years, so my view is pretty narrow) and have loved Cravens for the past couple seasons. He's a competitor, fierce hitter and LOVES to play. I'd welcome him on the Bills roster in the 2nd or 3rd -- though I doubt he makes it out of the 2nd round.
To be honest I hadn't hard too much about him until recently but the more I watch him the more I want him on the Bills.
-
Bandit, What do you think of Cravens? I'd really like to see us pick him up in the 2nd-4th. As much as I'd like to get Lee it's looking less and less likely he'll be available at 19. I think he may be a stud as a hybrid olb/ss
-
He looked good for Atlanta during the first few games last year. In fact he outplayed Roddy White well enough that it kept White on the bench fora stretch. So he at least has experience playing across from Julio Jones in a true #2 WR role
-
Not a fan of #19 or #80 but really like the rest of the choices. If Rankins is just going to bull rush then I guess he could work out but at #19 I think we get a bigger version for DL but... I'm as wrong as the next guy....and Jones just seems so frail and had little production. Not trying to nit pick...Just my opinion. Good job !!! I would be okay with this just not in love
Could always move Jones to safety. That was my thinking when I drafted both Lee and Cravens in my mock just above. I think either could be monster safeties in the right scheme. I would love to see lee put on 10-15 lbs and play olb with Cravens at ss for us. In fact I think there are a couple of olbs in this draft that could be moved to ss.

It's strange to me that a guy who almost won DROY has been traded twice in his first 3 years in the league. For whatever reasons, Kiko was awful last year.....
-
They do. Paying Dwayne Allen isn't the reason why though,. Now all they need to do is utilize him which is a another story.
You're right, it isn't the sole reason. They make some of the worst decisions a front office can make. If they hadn't scored Luck in the draft they'd be a perennial 3-5 win team. Other than Luck and Hilton they can't draft worth a damn, the Hughes for Sheppard trade, the Trent Richardson debacle, this list goes on. If I were Andrew Luck I'd run for the hills the second I have the chance.
-
The Colts seriously have the worst front office in football
-
I've been watching a lot of highlight videos of the DL coming thru the draft and I have to say that I am really becoming a huge fan of this Carl Nassib kid. I know he's a one year wonder but this kid looks like a beast. Size, speed and relentlessness. I would love to see him in a Bills uni, where is he projected?
-
i listed him as a option with the other starting RBs. I think he will be relatively sought after but not sure how much any of those guys will get on the FA market. I didn't list Doug Martin, as it's believed TB is planning to sign him to an extension. It doesn't sound like the Jets are going to pay ivory
I think Lamar Miller will get the biggest FA deal because he's so young.
Agreed Miller is a beast when he actually gets the ball, Miami just won't give give him enough reps. He'll be a monster in the right offense with a OC that doesn't have his head up his ass
-
Ridiculous, we've all been waiting for a franchise QB and we have the first promising prospect we've had in YEARS and he gets named to the probowl and everyone starts bitching about having to pay him now.
-
peters will get it because the hype and the chiefs. he's not been subjected to the treatment of darby. darby is a different type of cb but they're both very good
Lol What? Peters led the league in passes defense and interceptions on a playoff team. If he was a rookie on the Bills this board would be saying that he deserves the DMVP, much less DROTY
-
I'm telling you guys that Skooby is the guy for this defense and we may be able to even grab him in the second. Good size, great instincts and athletic.
-
Nothing man, just playing aroundand your point is what exactly relative to what is being discussed in this thread?
-
Mohamed is the most common name in the world!
-
Yes, and Honey Badger too I think. I remember Miles was at the tv desk when Ron was drafted and was talking about how Ron would have started anywhere else but the two guys ahead of him at LSU were insanely talented.
It was Peterson, Morris Claiborne and Honey Badger. 3 super talented college CBs
-
Greg Roman may be a HC candidate if they hire Chris Polian. They were teammates at John Carroll and have remained friends. They also have offensive guys that already fit alot of what he likes to do.
God I hope this doesn't happen
Whatdo you need to see to believe the D will be better
