Hill is going to STL bank on it.

Never been as happy to have been wrong. Gave them zero chance today.

Garbage though? I am not one to say this team is going to light the world on fire but how could he call any team garbage?
-
Did he just say the Bills have fooled everyone and would be garbage by the end of the year?
-
21 14 Chiefs. Our Run D is destroyed by Jamaal Charles and Bowe gets a late TD.
Johnson and Spiller get the TD's for Buffalo.
Man enough to admit when I was wrong. Good Win for the Bills.

What are you? Some kind of Asian philosopher?
awesome!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well we are going to have to trade up for luck then!
There is nothing higher than the first pick of the first round.

My money is on Jeremy Gundlach. But here is the problem I see: L.A. interests will drive up the price on the Bills. The Bills, on paper, are worth about $800M. But if you want a team in L.A. you have no problem paying $1.2-1.3B because the Bills in L.A. are worth that much more. So anyone bidding to keep the Bills in Buffalo will have to overpay by hundreds of millions.
I have a theory on Terry Pegula as well. He looks like he's throwing crazy money at the Sabres but he's actually setting them up for when they are Buffalo's only pro franchise.
Stop and consider all the ad revenue the Bills generate. It's probably not that much by NFL standards but huge money to an NHL team. Now if the Bills left town, all that revenue suddenly becomes available. What better place to spend it than on a local team that is a championship contender?
If the Bills left the Sabres would become a very profitable team.

This is the dumbest thing I have ever read.

I don't think he is being a baby, I think he is speaking his mind. He has been a model teammate and Bill and should be allowed to speak of his frustration over the situation. Frankly, I am surprised he handled it as professionally as he did. Most people would have gone off.

Dude you are by far the biggest troll on this site, are you related to Ralph or something? Anytime anybody has anything negative to say about the Bills you jump all over them for whinning or crying? Guess what? You're wrong, the Bills havent been in the playoffs in 11 years, its our right as paying fans to demand more in our teams. You're not a better fan becasue you will drink the kool-aid and never question the Bills. In fact that makes you a worse fan. Des a good parent let their kid do whatever they want? Or do they push and expect more out their kid? I just wish for once you would shut your pretentious mouth, you sit back and act like some wise sage but in reality your nothing. For years Ive seen you crap on people who have legitimate claims and concerns about this Bills, you have over 10k posts and not one of them worth a crap. SHut up and let people vent about their team.

Truth is, I think we're looking at a #5 or 6 pick. We're likely to win at least a 2-3 more games. We need to spend all of our picks on BIG guys, linemen and linebackers ONLY. Stock the cupboards and lets get some beef in town.
WHAT? Tell me who we are going to beat to win 2 or 3 more games? We won't beat Cincinnati this weekend.
I think this is right. In order - OLB/pass rusher - RT - ILB - DE. If Mallet is around in second round, grab him. If not, get some studs who can do more than pump iron and run fast. We need big, strong guys who can play football.
Kool Aid drinker.

I would draft an LT 1st, Best remaining QB 2nd. Except, no more california quarterbacks. The last few haven't worked out....
If they don't take a QB with the first then there is little reason to take one at all.
-
seriously, it really is a crap shoot when you look at it.
Year Team Player Pick No.
2007 OAK J. Russell 1 BUST
2005 SFO Alex D. Smith 1 BUST
2004 NYG Eli Manning 1
2004 SDG Philip Rivers 4
2004 PIT Ben Roethlisberger 11
2003 CIN Carson Palmer 1 (partial bust)
2003 JAC Byron Leftwich 7 BUST
2002 HOU David Carr 1 Y BUST
2002 DET Joey Harrington 3 BUST
2001 ATL Michael Vick 1
1999 CLE Tim Couch 1 BUST
1999 PHI Donovan McNabb 2
1999 CIN Akili Smith 3 BUST
1999 MIN Daunte Culpepper 11
1999 CHI Cade McNown 12 BUST
1998 IND Peyton Manning 1
1998 SDG Ryan Leaf 2 BUST
1995 TEN Steve McNair 3
1995 CAR Kerry Collins 5 (partial bust)
You know who I don't see on this list? BUFFALO. At least some other teams were willing to take the shot.
-
well...I think that is where he will fall especially with the suspension. We hve to remember that our second pick will be almost the same as a late first round, and the third like a late second.
Incidentally Heyward is a defensive end...he is the son of Ironhead Heyward...good lineage!
Except that they aren't a late first round or a late second round. They are what they are second and third round picks. If you were paying the salary would you say "Well you are really the same as a first rounder even though we took you in the second."
Luck or Mallett nuff said...
The Bills should spend money on free agent OT's (there are some every year) and draft LB and DT. This is the quickest way to turn this team around.
-
That would appear to be changing.
True enough

What difference does it make if I list the Bills best talent? Your challenge was to name 7 players that could start on any other NFL team. I did. Challenge over. The Bills are the worst team in the NFL, but it's not because they lack NFL starters, it's because they lack difference makers.
Sigh.. what is the point? Blind ignorance to inept management and constantly selling out games with below average talent has allowed this franchise to become what it is .. a laughing stock. It is not Ralph's fault, it is ours simply for blind loyalty and acceptance of 'rebuilding'.
-
Even if you had said, "name 7 players that could start on playoff teams.." the list wouldn't be much different. Newsflash: even playoff teams have mediocre talent at various positions. No team sends 11 players to the probowl. Case in point, Dwan Edwards was a starter on a highly successful Baltimore Ravens team, but all of a sudden he's not good enough to start on any NFL team outside of Buffalo?! Please.
The difference is you are listing the Bills best talent (and some of them are good)and those same people are the mediocre talent on other teams.
You don't think that Bills are the worst team in the NFL do you? They are and it's sole reason is because of an inability to draft.
-
Eric Wood
Andy Levitre
Fred Jackson
CJ Spiller
Lee Evans
Kyle Williams
Marcus Stroud
Dwan Edwards
Paul Posluszny
Terrence McGee
Drayton Florence
Jairus Byrd
..oh wait, you only said to name 7 that could start on another NFL team.
I will give you the top five and McGee. The other's
Please...
I would even agree that everyone of those is keepable..
To bad the roster is made up of 53 players.
-
I think it is funny to argue about the compensation we "could have gotten".
If the Seahawks gave the Bills their entire draft it would not matter. They can't pick talent anyway.
I challenge someone to name 7 players that would start on another team and 15 players you would 'keep' on this team.
-
second year?
hasn't he been hurt every year?
He should be the guy released. If you can't stay on the field you are useless to this team. IMO

Quarterbacks: F
The Bills have arguably THE worst quarterback situation in the NFL. What more is there to say?
Running Backs: B+
While the Bills don't have one of the marquee backs in the league, they have a talented stable of backs that many teams would be happy with.
Offensive Line: C
The young guards look good, the tackles are way below average.
Tight Ends: F
Foschi and Stupar are terrible. Nelson is suspended, a mediocre receiver, and a liability in the run game.
Wide Receivers: D
Lee Evans is a solid player. He would make a nice number 2 on a lot of teams. Everyone else would fail to make the roster on a team with a good offense.
Defensive Line: C+
Williams is serviceable, Stroud has a little left in the tank, and things are dicey beyond that.
Linebackers: D-
Poz will never live up to expectations, Mitchell is aging, and the rest are journeyman backup caliber.
Cornerbacks: C+
McGee is solid, Florence is not too bad for a nickel/dime guy. McKelvin has done nothing to warrant the high draft choice as of yet.
Safeties: B
Stong unit on the whole, good depth. I may have graded them higher but I'm skeptical that Byrd is the real deal.
Overall Team Grade: D
There is some talent on this offense, but that passing attack is just plain awful. In a league that favors the passing attack more and more every year, its going to be hard for the Bills to win many games with the meager production to be expected from their passing game. The defense has some talent as well, but the switch to 3-4 highlights the linebackers who are unfortunately the weak link of the defense.
Fail on many levels.

Well, if Eric is healthy ... maybe we can give Ed more time to develop.
In other words, if we've got Wood at the start of the season we may not need to show off our new Wang.
Although people will start to complain about the penis jokes, that was quite good!

Change the thread title!
looks like someone did it for me!
Is there any position of need that is still worrying people?
