  1. Except for the fan revolt, I would also.

Plays great in preseason, and trade him for a 3rd or 4th??

By then, some of the stink if off of him.

I'm not sure there would be a huge fan revolt. Obviously he can still play and as a backup mentoring Edwards I'd be estatic. We have no one behind him that has experience and given that Vick will have to earn a spot again, I think it could be an exceptional value to grab him.

Vick's best bet is to end up on a team like ours and hope to shine his way back to the top, while we groom him for trade.

  2. Technically he is from New Jersey.

I think if the Bills are going to take a quarterback in the late round he is the best choice. The guy has proven he can play in the wind tunnel known as UB Stadium. He worked out with the Giants and while they have a plethora of QBs you can't rule that out. Also, Polian has gone to games just to scout him this year.

    Thanks.

  3. Im just saying rankings wether on a website like drafttek or a magazine have limitations. They dont have a medical staff, dont interview players one on one. Dont know how a player fits in with a specific team. Though if you do want to use them for discussion give us Oaklands total reach number so far.

Yeah, can you post Oaklands, and maybe Miami's?

  4. Nelson is an understandable pick as he appears to be a steal at this point in the draft. However, I find this pck disappointing as I was hoping the Bills had actually figured out a way to lower the use of the TE in an offense which would use 3 WRs as the base offense wth Evans/TO/Parrish as the WRs and having a great competition between Reed/Hardy/Johnson to complete the line-up.

The pick of Nelson MAY indicate the braintrust is still invested in a traditional NFL O which utilizes the TE, but the problem is that it looks like it will take a couple of years at least for Nelson to develop the blocking chops necessary to be utilized often as a balanced TE. Even worse, I think Schouman is definitely a good ST player at best and that Fine though I like him as a receiver is also a couple of years away from being a balanced producer with both the receiving and blocking chops necessary to be considered a good back-up for Nelson.

Nelson looks like a good player but I do not see how the Bills make it work with his developing skills to create a good O.

All I see are solid options that the Bills really didn't have before, even if it does take a bit for Nelson to gain some weight, his speed will help spread the field and teams will have to cover him just as much of our WR's.

  5. Nothing not to like about this pick. There is no reason to believe that he can't gain a little weight either.

What time do you think they will take the straight jacket off of Jauron, or do you think they gave him a large dose of adavan?

He did look a little woozy, I bet someone just gave him a sleeping pill and he slept the draft off.

  6. Looking at next year's schedule, does anyone really see us any better than 2-6 at the bye? Day 1 maneuvers and picks look like more of the same. Same reaching for the same "talent" by the same scouting geniuses who've led us down a 9 year path of mediocrity.

Your a 'tard. Go away.
