  1. So here is an update on our boy Lynch (http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/03/05/lynch-pleads-guilty-to-firearm-possession/). If we seem to have no problem with him, I think was can take a chance on Owens.
  2. Yes, he does. Unless you think James Hardy is going to be some great pass catcher. Evans and Owens make a potent threat every time we want to throw the ball. Reed underneath, and if anyone needs a breather we have Roscoe. Done.
  3. Thank you. The man can play, is in great shape, hardly ever gets hurt, wants to play, wants to make plays, etc. Time for the Bills to get someone with a bit of an attitude. Try him for a year and see what happens. Now if you will excuse me, I have to find my AFC Eastern Conference Champions hat I used to wear every year back in the day when they won the East and made the playoffs.
  4. They just brought in a 38 year old receiver (Joey Galloway) who is often injured. You would rather they take a chance on Joey than on T.O.? Please.
  5. Ummm, no. But I think our future improves a bit more if we get someone like T.O. who gives us a shot to make the playoffs this year. How many times are we going to fall the "we're rebuilding" line or that we "need better players"? Time to take a chance.
  6. Well, it looks like all you naysayers have had your prayers answered. JOEY GALLOWAY is at 1 bills drive!!! Great. Please, I would rather take my chances with T.O. than Joey.
  7. This is why the Bills should be going after Terrell Owens. Way better player, more productive player, more exciting player. I'll take the chance on him any day.
  8. Will you still be laughing when they are called the Toronto Bills due to lack of playoff push since 1999?
  9. And I agree. That is why I think the Bills should sign him right now and take a chance.
  10. There are 4 pages of replies/postings/threads and this is all you could come up with?
  11. Todd, did you even look at the other threads on this? There are some valid points to bringing him. He did help get Philly into the Superbowl his first year. If he gets the Bills to the playoffs in one year, Bills faithful will love him.
  12. I think it is boneheaded to not take a chance at bringing in someone who could put us into the playoffs this year.
  13. My point was that we have players on the team that get in trouble with the law, and keep them. T.O. has never has a problem with the law. He is in great shape. Yeah, he can be a distraction, if people don't squash in fast. His first year in Philly was fine and they went to the Superbowl. It blew up after that. I'll take that chance.
  14. Whatever Todd. Make some case against it. There are people responding that are making legitimate arguments for and against the idea. The Eagles took the chance, and even if he ended up being a distraction and got kicked out the 2nd year he was there, the first year he helped get them to the Superbowl. I'll take a chance for a year that he gets us to the playoffs.
  15. I know. Lynch hit someone with a car and then took off, and now got busted for having weapons. He has his head on straight.
  16. This was the worst reply to the post I have ever seen. At least make some sort of argument why you think this is a bad idea. If you think he would be too much of a distraction, say so. If you think his skills are bad, say so. But this is just a bad, lazy reply. Don't worry about my family and my job, things are just fine. Worry about a team that we all support and would like to see succeed, make the playoffs, and not get moved to Toronto or anywhere else for that matter.
  17. Thank God someone else sees a bit of the light too. Exactly my point. We have not had anything happen with our team since 1999. Drew Bledsoe was a bust, no playoffs in forever, and a team that may end up in Toronto. We need something to jolt us, and T.O. signing would be just that. I don't think he has lost a step, he is in great shape, and with him and Evans split outside, we would have an excellent receiving duo. I would take the chance on him.
  18. Well, you are right. Let's not change things at all, keep doing what we are doing. I mean, just because we haven't made the playoffs since 1999 doens't mean we should try something drastic, right? If we can just manage to do the same things for the next year or two, then we will be in GREAT SHAPE to be sold nice and cheap to Toronto, then we won't ever have to worry if our team has any distractions, because WE WON'T HAVE A TEAM!!!!
  19. Finally someone who sees a bit of the light
  20. Please. Like the Bills have not been thru distractions before. Doesn't anyone remember the Flutie/Johnson distraction in 1999? All that did was get the team riled up to make the playoffs and if it wasn't for the Music City Miracle, we would have at least gone to the AFC championship game. I think the team would be just fine, and have a way better shot to at least make the playoffs.
  21. Well fortunately others don't think this would be a bad idea. He doesn't get in trouble with the law, is in great shape, and would make an immediate impact. Was there some free agent signing this past week that makes you think we are now playoff bound?
  22. I agree. Time to get him here and make our push to get to the playoffs.
  23. The time has come to get T.O. to the Bills. He'll have a chip on his shoulder where he will want to prove that he is still an elite athlete, and he still wants to get a ring on his finger. He and Evans as our main receivers would be great.
  24. Have management get Terrell Owens onto the team. He will get us over the hump into the playoffs. That will save the team and keep them in Buffalo.
