  1. VJ91, where you at?

Have you turned yourself in to the police for past cell phone transgressions? Or are you trying to think of some way to convince the readers that idiotic cell phone transgressions that result in death, are somehow less of a crime than idiotic drunk driving transgressions that result in death?

Maybe you're berating your grandma, wife, daughter, and neighbor for getting behind the wheel of "a loaded gun" and risking the lives of their passengers and other drivers with their silly cell phone conversations?

(I'm sure they are saying "well EVERYONE does it").

At this point, Cell Phone Drivers are at least as much of a menace as Drunk Drivers, if only because they are so common. And I bet you (and many of the other "stone casters" on this board) can be counted among them.

Oh come on..you really aren't that stupid are you ?

Much respect for Zazie..but you and Throw it up his aZZ are missing the guys point.

  2. Ummm....RG is the toughest interior OL position, much tougher than LG, at least according to Ross Tucker who wrote the best article on breaking down the OL positions I have ever read.

    Here is the article.

    Thx for the link..great article.

Now I know why they put Wood at RG, I think he will eventaully be our center and probably would have been if we didn't pick up Hangy...but I was a bit confused when they put him at RG and Levitre at LG..now I know why.

  3. Ye Ole' got to thinkin about a time when he made a tremendous gaffe in Pop Warner. Twas back in the day when Ye Ole' was simply known as Lil' Cotton... I was goin deep on the 9 route (that's a GO route for those not privvy to the position) and the QB hit Lil' Cotton in stride. Sure enough, I was going to have the game winning TD as I galloped to the endzone. I was in the clear... nothing but paydirt ahead. But alas, overcome with a sense of gamesmanship Lil' Cotton spiked the ball, started doing the funky chicken dance, giving the number one sign with both index fingers high above my head. One problem... I had spiked the ball at the 2 yd. line... and the defense recovered. Everyone was yelling "NO COTTON! NOOOO!!!" With only a few seconds left on the clock, the opposition took a knee and the game ended.

With that in mind, what are some similar gaffes we have seen over the years on our beloved Bills? Lets discuss... for posterity sake of course!

Lil' Cotton sounds like he was emulated by Lil'Sean Jackson.

How goes it this year my friend ?

  4. I have no problem admitting I was completely wrong about this game, didnt think the Bills had a shot....Delhomme is absolutely terrible and although he didnt throw 5 picks the 3 he threw were awful...i really cant believe they stayed with him all game when they have a more then capable backup in Feely that they havent even given a shot to

Don't feel bad Max..I am wrong way more than I am right..just ask my wife.

Just had a feeling about this game.

  5. although he is capable I dont think the Bills will be getting 5 ints from Delhomme today especially if they are running the ball as well as they should be able to

Thomas Jones had over 200 yards with more then half of that total coming from two long runs

yeah Carolina isnt tearin it up this year but they are still head and shoulders better then the Bills with the game in Carolina and the Panthers finally starting to run the ball like they did last year

I see this game alot like the Miami game with Carolina being able to run the ball at will controlling the clock and the Bills struggling on offense

    Yup hahahaha

  6. Bills will not win this game which will most likely end up like the Miami game

Williams and Stewart will both go over 100 yards easily controlling the clock and the Bills will struggle on offense like they do every week when they do have the ball

    2 100yd rushers ? Big deal..

Thomas Jones had 210 by himself...ya cpl big runs..

Carolina isn't exactly tearin up the league this year either..they are 2-3 with their two coming VS. Wash & Tampa

None the less..This thread is about the Bills winning despite themselves..

Not a Carolina is better team than the Bills for reasons x, y and z.

Really this is a straight up turd vs turd game...the winner will just have less paper on them.

  7. I now apply the same theory I used to apply to the Red Sox. Think of the worst thing that can possibly happen. That's what will occur. The worst thing is NOT getting beaten by Carolina. It's not even getting hammered by Carolina. It's beating Carolina while showing way way way more offense than has been shown all year long. Why is that bad? We still have a suck team, but now we're a suck team with a quarterback controversy.

The absolute worst case scenario is that the Bills somehow rally and finish like 9-7 or a miraculous 10-6 but barely miss the playoffs (likely on Conference record due to that Cleveland debacle) and not only that but that Fitzpatrick looks like Drew Brees while they are doing it. That scenario would keep Jauron here another year at least and fool management into thinking they have a real QB.

Sort of like when Bledsoe went on a tear at the end of the 2004 season only to come up one game short because they couldn't beat the 3rd string Steelers at home. Before that tear, the Bills were 3-6 and coming off a 29-6 drubbing at the hands of the Patriots in the "Tedy Bruschi" game. Had they gone on to finish 5-11 Mularkey might not have survived.

Exactly my line of thinking...Awesome Handle too.

  8. WTH good is it if the Bills pick in the top 5 and STILL pick bums who get paid and then stink up the field!!!!

Even if they were up a pick here and there..

Cpl years ago we could have taken Patrick Willis but Sfran picked one ahead of us and then we took Lynch.

Really the point of the thread is that they will do just enough to not make the playoffs which is bad enough

but they wont be bad enough to get marque picks like Adrian Peterson, Peyton Manning, Bruce Smith et al that are game changers.

  9. We picked in the top 10 in 2002 and 2006. Remember who we picked. Mike Williams-UGH!!! and Donte Whitner-Junior UGH! It is not where we pick that is the problem, it is who is doing the picking that is the problem.

How will we win this week if TE is our QB? Maybe he gets knocked out in the first series. We can only hope.

They always play up to a better team and down to one that is as bad or worse then them..

Hopefully the Jets will expect them to lay down and get beat by a freak play (read Edwards throws more than check downs).

  10. RALPH WILSON IS A CHEAP PIECE OF ****!!!

DICKY !@#$HEAD JAURON IS A STUPID PIECE OF ****!!!

RUSS BRANDON IS A CLUELESS PIECE OF ****!!!

TOM MODRAK AND JOHN GUY ARE LEFTOVER NUGGETS OF **** IN DA TOILET BOWL!!!

WOW. IT CAN'T GET ANY WORSE............ OR COULD IT???

I FEEL BETTER, A LITTLE BIT @ LEAST.

    WHO'S NEXT??

    Marmalade, dead! NEIDERMYER…Dead!

Bluto’s right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We’ve gotta take these bastards.
