While over the top, mike schopps commentary about drafting a qb in every round is thinking I can't dismiss. Its crazy to think of operating that way but if u hit on that position you are instantly better in every offensive facet.

While I agree with you on the parts about Marrone being thin skinned, I disagree with you on the parts about the Media.
What you are ignoring is the fact that radio is and always will be about listeners. Listeners = audience base. Audience base = demographic to sell to advertisers. Advertisers = revenue.
You don't need to be an NFL intern to interpret the game and speak to the fans. In fact, guys like Jeremy White, Joe B, and Matthew Coller do a great job of being the intermediary between the Counter Trap, A Gap, 3 technique, X's and O's guys, and Bob from Cheektowaga who thinks Jim Kelly should come back and coach the Bills.
The technology available to everyone these days (all 22, NFL Rewind) mean that more than ever, the gap between coach speak and honest evaluations is closing.

Over 5 yds per carry running out of 3+ wrs this season. Unfortunately there were 3 tight ends on the field more often than 3 wideouts. Offensive design was lacking.

eh, this makes me think he's returning to buffalo:
responses like, "i'm here, not there" and "i don't discuss rumors" leave plenty of wiggle room.
I was just going to post this... This soundbyte all but convinces me he is coming. He has every chance to firmly debunk it and doesn't do it

Clean hit. On the topic of Brooks.. he looks like he is always trying to prevent a touchdown on every play.
-
The Bills are averaging over 5 yds per carry when running out of formations that have 3 wr's or more. Is it ineptitude to not play to that strength more? Is it stubborness that 3 wides is not their "identity". Worst of all, do they not even know that statistic?

Officially, Russ no longer has anything to do with football decisions. Unofficially, he's making some bold statements and publicly supporting the people he hired. So the question is whether or not Russ can stay in his lane and only handle team financial matters.
From afar, it seems like Russ isn't ready to let go of the power he held as quasi-owner. The Pegula's have to determine whether the previous lead guy for the team (who hired other high ranking people in non-football roles) won't divide the organization.
I agree 100% with everything in this statement.
Russ has been a middle manager, the head of Marketing, The GM, and the President and CEO. His fingerprint is literally EVERYWHERE on this organization. The Pegulas publicly stated that the Business side and the Football side are now mutually exclusive. Brandon has been in the war room for the last decade on draft day and has been intimately involved in Football related matters and front office personnel. My opinion of him based on what he puts out there publicly is that he is a power-hungry individual.

I think we can all agree (or maybe not) that this thread is really just a slap fest about who is crappier, Hackett or Orton. How about they both suck and we need to have new people in those roles next year.

He always looks hurt after every tackle. He lays there long enough to make you go "uh oh" and then he picks himself up off the ground.
I like is YAC ability, however I don't feel like I see the top end speed on vertical routes that he was touted as having.

if you happen to come across doug marrone during your tour, please punch him in the face for me.
If you run into Nate Hackett, please do the same for me. Nate will be the short, squirley guy shackled to Doug Marrone with one of those little kid leashes.

I don't like either of them. This sucks. That is all

Not only do I think the Broncos should sit Manning to prevent his premature extinction, they should prevent him from watching the so-called contest so that he does not have to witness the mutilation of his valued co-workers. He should just come back to the facility on Monday with flowers and candy to distribute to the casualties in the training room and never speak of the Bills game again.

Sabres and Bills Christmas lights display... pretty awesome

Anyway... its going to be very curious to see what the Bills response is to all of this, if there is one at all. The refusal to comment thus far has not really been surprising looking at the Bills as a corporation, not a team.

Most likely from my bed

I didn't realize just how open Sammy was on the 4th down play (Credit to Yards Per Pass)

$10 says Hackett has footie pajamas

I was sitting right at the goaline where that happened... the ball popped up to Chandler almost perfectly, it seemed like it was in slow motion......aaaaaaaaaaaaand we all know what happened. It was literally OH NO, OH YES, OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO all in one play. I nominate that one play to summarize what its like being a Bills fan for the last 15 years.
-
I'm pretty sure the Chiefs were playing A-Gaps on that with no one heads up on Wood at Center. Thats perfect for a quick sneak.

Well that's unfortuante. I actually thought he had potential. People poke fun at these draft busts but it must be a hard life after the NFL, thinking they were going to be a pro athlete all their life and then its all over in a couple years.
Absolutely, being a 2nd round pick too, you envision a long, lucrative career where you retire to palm trees frozen drinks after (well at least I would). Then you get cut and are thrust into a world where you have no tangible skills and your 40 time and vertical don't matter.

I can't believe nobody has played the "if you don't go I'll keep your wife company in Vegas then" card yet.
-
I still can't figure out how Gilmore picked up an offsetting personal foul on the play Graham kept blocking 10 yards out of bounds.

Was Marrone calling plays yesterday??? A few times with the Bills on offense, they showed Marrone, with the playsheet covering his mouth as he was talking into the headset.... it looked like he was calling plays.
