It does seem like there was always a 3rd and 16 that would get a questionable illegal contact call during the brady years.

I dont buy that they're saving bates to eventually replace Morse. Their superbowl window is open, you don't hold anything back. Plus snaps will only help Bates if he is viable.

I saw enough bombs from Brady when the pats were up 3 scores late in the game to not care about this. Good teams impose their will. Mediocre teams worry about what the other team thinks.

Calf strain per McDermott. Ike gets his shot to sturdy up the LG spot for the foreseeable future.

Henry keeps those LBs sucked up close to the line. AJ Brown feasts on medium crossers where the MLB should normally be in his drop. Tannehill struggles working outside the hashes so it's a crusher for that offense.

He had the runs so they decided to put him on the injury report. 🤣
In that case I am also questionable.

Former Bills qb coach....

I always wondered why you just don't use a 7th round pick on the best punter in college. Hes going to be on the field more than the guy you are likely going to send to the practice squad.

cmon the wind knocked the football straight down Today is not the day to go complaining about the long ball
It was thrown with the wind - had a tail wind.

The weird thing for us Bills fans this year is that if the Bills do make a trade, say they go big and trade their first rounder, its likely going to be in the mid to late 20s if it plays out like we hope this year. We're so used to first rounders being top 12 picks...

Allen also threw it about 90 MPH, not a throw you can lollipop in there, but not everything needs to be a fastball. The Beasley touchdown pass had some mustard on it too, almost went through his hands. Allen had nice touch on the throw to Duke, but he seems to have the adrenaline flowing alot and is ripping fastballs when the situation may not call for it.

Agreed that those throws shouldn't have been made, but if a receiver isn't going to fight for a deep ball he shouldn't be on the field. I don't think it's reasonable or realistic to say that if a QB makes a bad decision he shouldn't be out there (although if he keeps making 5 bad decisions a game, he'll be gone soon enough.)
I'm all for bringing Duke up and letting Zay go.
A few of those could have been incomplete if Zay just fights for the ball. Heck, interfere with the DB if you have to, do anything but what he has done on those throws.

The thing that concerns me is that he reverts really easily to bad habits. I'm not just talking about the hero ball stuff he does. Yesterday his mechanics were awful and it showed in his accuracy. Back foot throws, his shoulders flying open, he was missing really short throws to the flat, he was missing over the middle, he was just scattershot outside of 1 drive in the 3rd.

Makes Brady whining about all the holding calls during the Thursday night game seem a little more calculated doesn't it.........

To me, a guy like Antonio Brown may have raped her, and doesn't even realize it. So as to say, a narcissistic self centered guy of generally bad character is used to getting his way regardless of what people say and do. What was a nothing incident to him was actually him imposing his will in an assault.

Patrick Chung is going through the legal process with Cocaine possession.... the Kraft Prostitution thing.... the shine has to start to come off the Patriot way sooner or later.

I'd say Daboll's playcalling was responsible for the anemic 1st half.
I'll wait until I see more on All-22, but I though Daboll was being too cute in the 1st half. I thought that they had too much motion to try to catch Jets off balance, but the Bills never snapped the ball to exploit the mismatches. In the first drive, a split out DiMarco was wide open for a while, but Jets recovered before the snap.
My problem is that Daboll kept going back to that formation throughout the game, even as the Jets caught on. I understand that Daboll is trying to set the offense for the rest of the year, and hopefully they'll be able to exploit this movement once the offense gets more comfortable, but this was also game where the opponent had a very weak secondary, and Daboll didn't do enough to expose the real weakness. This game should not have been this close.
I wonder how many of those were called run plays that Allen audibled out of.... he was changing calls at the line a lot the first few drives.

I hope this is true. For the last 20 years I've been watching the Bills get quick snapped, stuck in bad personnel groupings, 12 men on the field, QB sneaked, bubble screened and however many other nuanced ways the Patriots have taken advantage of the Bills old school thinking. it would be nice to watch innovation happening from our sidelines for a change. Throw in a 300 yard passing performance on offense and my head might explode.
