  1. I was mystified by them bypassing Sweed too. This pick makes me more nervous than any pick Buffalo has made in the past few years. I pray I'm wrong but I think he has a high bust potential.

I don't think so. Ye of little faith in the team. Hardy is much taller than Sweed and he's a much bigger endzone target than Sweed. Did I mention how long of a stride he has? He's the new Plaxico Burress or Moss. <_<

  2. two things i dislike about NFL Network:

    1) they show too much combine/senior bowl footage and not enough game footage of the selections

    2) they don't have any cameras with the players to capture their reactions when they're picked/showing them on the phone

other then those 2 things they wiped the floor with ESPN.........their analysis is top notch and mayock is way better then kiper

We'll some of us don't have that luxury. <_<

  3. Mort says that in the AFC east that the Pats* and the Jets did great. Boomer gets the last word and says that the Bills did great.

Did anybody else see that. Correct me if I am wrong because I could only hear it and not see it.

You weren't kidding. He gave us major props as usual! YAHOOOO! <_<

  4. I think the Bills did a great job. They drafted the best all around corner in the first round (though his ball skills need tweaking) and Hardy is the receiver with the most upside and was graded by most to be a first round pick. I think even the Bills brass was surprised the guy was there at #41. They made their decision fast.

A so far, but they still need to get a TE in the third. If they do that and manage to get Owen Schmitt, it will be an A+ draft. I would love to see Schmitt in a Bills uniform.

He does seem a bit undersized and a little light at 247lbs.

  5. 1 (64) Miami Dolphins -- (Needed WR,OG,ILB,CB) - After line picks Long and Merling, Tuna's next pick is CB or WR.

2 (65) St. Louis Rams--(DE, OLB, WR, OT) -Took DE Chris Long and WR Donnie Avery. Takes OT(Nicks, Greco, Collins)

3 (66) Detroit Lions (From Chiefs) (RB, LB, OT, OG, DE) - Took Cherilus and Dizon; Takes RB (Charles, Choice, Slaton)

4 (67) Carolina Panthers (From Jets) (DT, DE, RB, OT) - Stewart and Otah gone; take DT Sims or Dre Moore.

5 (68) Atlanta Falcons (QB, TE, OT, DT, ILB, CB) - Falcons take TE Cottam or Finley as they draft later in RD3.

6 (69) *Cheatriots (From Raiders) (ILB, CB, S, OT) - Took Mayo & Wheatley; now take DeCoud or Zibikowski

7 (70) Chicago Bears (From 49ers) (QB, RB, WR, OT, SS) OT and RB taken, looking at Zibikowski, Hubbard in RD3.

8 (71) Baltimore Ravens (From Ravens/Bills/Jaguars) (CB, OLB, DE, OT, QB) - Got Flacco, Rice, needs OLB Groves

9 (72) Buffalo Bills (TE, OC, OLB) - On The Board: TE Cottam or Finley. OLB Groves/Adibi, OC Pollak, or DT Sims/Moore.

By being patient and trusting the team.

  6. Losman has 1 year left on his contract and I read somewhere he will have achance to compete. I think he will be gone after the season. I believe we need a QB in 5 or 6 as a #2, and a year under his belt will help tremendoulsy which makes it a must now. Your thoughts?

If anything we need a veteran if we trade Losman. Losman is no teacher to Edwards in my opinion but I think looking for a veteran QB is that way to go if we trade Losman. Even if we get a 4th round pick for him, I'd take it.

  7. what a stupid thread. just because we draft players, we need nicknames for the players we drafted???? that is 10000% g@y. <_<

It's just for these guys only since they will likely see a ton of playing time and will likely be with the team a long time.

    How about just OTIS

Although I'll admit - McLovin' is fantastic...

    Thank you.

  8. Leodis has 8 return TDs in his college career. I do not have a problem with having so many playmakers on the team. The more the merrier

Also, we can change it up. Some kickoffs we will have McKelvin and others will have McGee/Parrish. We can really screw up opponents ST because of how different each of them run.

In term of flat out speed it's

    1. Parrish

    2. McLovin'

    3. McGee

  9. As I was watching the draft go down I couldn't help but notice the friction between Steve Young and Keyshawn Johnson. It seem Berman fell apart after the Bills took McKelvin. Mortensen is just an idiot, and Kiper, well. Did you see the time they came back from commercial and were all arguing and Berman got the train wreck back on track. I hope they do better tomorrow, and find better chemistry for next year.

Surprisingly I thought this was the first year that I actually seemed to notice friction among everyone. Heck, I like it. It was entertaining.
