Colt Brennan to Washington
Brennen to Devin Thomas, Fred Davis, and Malcom Kelly in 2009?
He doesn't have the huge arm though. Teams will only have to cover about 15-30 yards.
-
No, but we have 3 7s
Again. Great chance to get depth.
-
Your incredible intelligence and tireless research convinced me.
Thank you! Oh and it's 2 days!
-
Several word to describe him.
Flat out SLEEPER/STEAL!
-
You do realize that ST is part of thi team and that we lost quite a few guys on ST. Why not the probably the best unit on the team for the past 2 years.
-
Don't judge Omon before you see him!
I admit I haven't seen him before, but it looks like he has a good initial burst, great vision, and decent speed. Looks like he has good instincts. Here is a highlight video:
He could be our FB on some plays. Player where we line up in the I and fake a RB toss to Lynch and hand it off to Omon. He's fast enough to get a lot of yards.
-
Is this a Bad Omon?
Oh come on. We are having a great draft. We just got our possible FB and a great ST player. This is not that bad of a pick.
-
Xavier Omon?
The Bills brass is just fu**ing with us now.
He'll be a great ST. You know that ST is part of this team right. We lost a lot of good ST players this offseason so I like seeing them rebuilding it.
-
Sounds like a possible FB
A fast FB.
-
"Omon led NCAA Division II with 2,337 rushing yards (6.3 per attempt) and a whopping 37 touchdowns in 2007, in the process becoming the first back in NCAA history to run for more than 1,500 yards in four different seasons. He's not likely to wow anyone with his straight-line speed, but defenders know how tough he is to bring down."
A great ST player I see.

This one really has me scratching my head.
This says the Bills love Melvin Fowler.
It says they love our safety depth.
Apparently, the FO thinks we're short at talent at RB. WTF?
I give up.
We probably didn't need a RB BUT he can be used for ST. Remember Lionel Gates.
-
Good 3rd down RB. Reminds me of Lionel Gates who will play ST.

Watching ESPN they are convertingme to Mike Hart...you could do a lot worse than using the next couple of picks on players like Mike Hart and Jamie Silva
Come to the happy place network, where the Bills are being praised!
-
I think you nailed it.
Agreed.
-
So where is McGee?
Probably #2 or #3 depending on how well Greer does in training camp and preseason. However, I do believe that Corner will take over by the the middle of the season.
-
I love this draft.
It's got me pumped for the season to start.
I know some are upset that we didn't go TE earlier, that we took a second corner, and that we didn't go O-Line.
But you know what? There's 22 starting positions on a team, you can't hit all the positions with picks.
Besides, the Bills covered their two biggest needs with their first two picks, and are filling out the rest of the roster with good value picks while keeping in mind the other lesser needs we have.
Great draft!
I agree. Not only are some of these picks good value but they help out some of our depth.
-
Our 4th rounder is going to replace our #1 CB this year? And pass at least two other players on the way?
Our #1 Cb this year is McKelvin.
-
Finally, the first Punter has been selected by the Redskins, Durant Brooks.
-
Not according to what I'm seeing on DraftTracker....
http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/...;draftyear=2008
Look at the Seahawks #163
-
Now entering.....................round 6! Who do we get?
-
drafting for the sole purpose of rebuilding their special teams.and depth. Some of these guys may replace starters in a couple years. Corner could replace McGee in 2-3 years.
Or this year.
-
I'm so mad we lost Schmitt
The team knows something that we don't I think. Can't wait to see who we will get.
6th Round Selection: Xavier Omon RB NWMO
