Well, if Willis magically turns back into the college specimen and tears up the field in the next few years, then the ravens will certainly have gotten a good deal financially, as it will look pretty sweet in a couple years when decent RB's are getting paid at least twice this deal (if this deal is for real)
By then, it'll be about time for him to want to re-negotiate his deal.

since when does the agent set the asking price for a player?
-
It's more important to Losman's continued development that he have a quality, legit starting back than to get an extra 3rd round pick, especially considering our receiving corps outside of Evans and the questions surrounding our o-line. Let him walk at year's end and draft a replacement then.
-
Stats aren't everything, but didn't Carr lead the league in completion % last year? Doesn't mean he's the best QB or anything, but that's not something you accomplish by fluke.

I think that a taking a DT at 8 who is only going to play on rushing downs is TOO HIGH.
and taking one who could only play on passing downs at 26 isn't?
-
Even with the injury and his lessened effectiveness, TKO is a presence on the field that gives confidence to his teammates and that opponents respect. Can't cut him now.

Clements might end up being overpaid, but who nowadays isn't? Every off-season it seems like 'oh, that guy got too much' or 'man, that team is paying that guy way more than he's worth'... maybe it's time to realize that players aren't valued what they once were and that this is merely the cost of doing business in the NFL (and most pro sports) today. RE-SIGN CLEMENTS.

That JP page is so fake.

I like the idea of cutting Gandy, but do we really want to switch Peters' position yet again? How about letting him develop into a dominating right tackle and work on finding the left tackle seperately?
-
Guess they really are that good.

Jee that's a big photo of ol' Ed in there.

Freeney would be great to add in Madden even if, in the real world, teams have figured out his one-dimension. Leonard Davis probably has the single greatest mugshot on NFL.com, even if he isn't the franchise tackle many hoped for. Therefore: I like both those guys to be Bills next year!

And we're not drafting 1st and getting Brady Quinn!
Apparently they are actually paying attention to the standings, since we're now picking 10th.
Unfortunately, they aren't actually watching the games however, as they have us drafting Drew Stanton. "Losman is not the QB that will lead this team to the playoffs." Interesting.

Clements should be there, for sure.
-
I dunno... Texans suck pretty hard, that would be one damn high pick. Would be worth considering, but if we should deal McGahee, with no RB/running game it would make evaluating/developing JP a whole heck of a lot harder this year.
-
Ricard at FB is an 89 - that's a nice trade to make when you get the game!
-
Andre Davis is our second-best receiver at 79. Interesting...
When will McGee finally be 99 in Kick Return? 85 for the best at that job 2 years in a row, on the best ST in the league? Retarded.

Hall of Famer Still Around - Best
MARV LEVY
What Levy, the coach, accomplished during the 1990s -- getting to (and losing) four straight Super Bowls -- may never be duplicated. He's the most famous Bill not acquitted for murder. He's also 80 years old and back as GM of a franchise that sprung all kinds of leaks last season.

Uhm, in the article Marv Levy was the 'Worst' Hall of Famer still around, not best.

Not re-signing Clements will come back to haunt us. Unless Youbouty really surprises, I don't think McGee has what it takes to be a true #1 CB.
-
Nothing but good will come from this. Willis is our #1 offensive weapon and needs to utilized as such, plus, like most gamers, guys like him thrive on getting his hands on the ball, so more touches is definitely what the doctor orderd for WM and the Bills offense.
-
Of course he was signing. In fact, I'm surprised he signed this early. Good showing on his part.
-
Sign him long-term. Love the potential secondary we'll have with him, McGee and our picks from this year. Dy-no-mite!
Michael Turner for a 2nd and the Raven's 3rd?

Turner's YPC average has been sick in his 3 years, and he has yet to have a fumble. He can break the long one and is built extremely solidly. I'm leery of his lack of touches though, and the fact that he plays behind LT and the SD line, but there's a feeling about him that this could be another Priest Holmes-Larry Johnson case, not that he'd be better than LT, but that he'd be an excellent, excellent back to run with. For the right price, I pull the trigger, but what is the right price? That is the $64,000 question.
