The stars are aligning...
Can you guys imagine what it would feel like if we finally win a SB, but the team had moved to L.A. two years prior?
It is 2012...

Color me happy...

Bills got the LB they wanted in the fourth rd you got to think.
I mean, they went back after last night and re-evaluated their board and who was left. Since no LB were drafted yet, they got the best on their board.
Guy sounds very good physically. Best in the forty and vertical for his position at the combine.
Weakness is he needs to learn to read between run and pass better. Wanny will love working with this kid.
Don't need a pass rushing LB in 4-3...

Giants take Rueben Randle. Love that pick. That will replace the kid that spit on Buffalo and signed with San Diego. I can't say I blame him who would want to end up in Buffalo.
LOL!
I have a conviction that this is gonna be one of the bright shining moments in your life.
When you're lying on your deathbed thinking back on your life's accomplishments, you'll remember this moment.
Congratulations!
And… you're welcome.
Hey I feel a lot worse for you, you're stuck in BAFALOOOOOOW! LOW! LOW! Buffalo may not be the end of the world but you can see it from there.
GET OFF THE BOARD YOU BIG DOPE!

He won't make the 52 man roster...
-
Either he replaces Pears or he plays RG...

I hope Martin is there in round 2...

If the Eagles and Cowboys want this guy so bad, how bad can he be?
-
Two weeks ago, the idea that either of these guys would be available at #7 was absolutely insane.
But only a couple days away, it's actually plausible.
- I've been inclined to think the Vikings are bluffing in hopes of a trade down. But their statement that "we play Aaron Rodgers, Matthews Stafford and Jay Cutler six times every season" is actually a legitimate reason to take Morris Claiborne instead.
- If Minnesota takes Claiborne and Cleveland takes Richardson, that leaves the Bucs with a dilemma. They very likely could take the BPA in Kalil even though he isn't their biggest need. Or they could trade the pick to someone that takes him. But it's not crazy to think they reach for a bigger need like Luke Kuechly. Or a trading partner could move in for Fletcher Cox/Ryan Tannehill.
Would it really be a huge stretch to see the draft go like this?
1 - Luck
2 - Griffin
3 - Claiborne
4 - Richardson
5 - Kuechly
6 - Cox
7 - Gilmore
8 - Tannehill
9 - Brockers
If this happens, the Bills card with Kalil's name on it will be read within 2 minutes of being told the Bills are on the clock...Hope it happens!
-
Floyd will NOT be the pick...I'll be shocked if it is him!
-
I'd be very happy....Everyone's favorite WR from Notre Dame will likely be available up until pick 20...

1: Luke Kuechly LB Boston College, i think the guy can play any linebacking position and does pretty well in coverage which we need against new england...our linebacker corp is probs the most questionable part of our defense so suring it up early with a stud should help....Nix and Whaley really seem to like him, hope hes there
2: Janoris Jenkins CB Northern Alabama, i think he is one of the true lockkdown corners in this draft...the guy was a stud at Florda but and idiot...so i think he may fall to us in the second, he has cleaned his act up a on since the reality chec on having to play D2 his last year and i think would be a steal and a future staple in our defense
3: Brian Qucik WR Appalacian State, the kid is big, storng and fast...all things Buddy is looking for, he also said that there is good WR depth in rounds 3 and 4 and i see Quick being there...i se him coming in this year and being the second reciever, challenging Stevie acouple of years down the road
4a: Matt McCants OT University of Alabama-Birmingham, he moves well, good footwork and strength and from what ive seen can swing and play both side of the line, Nix flat out said we need OT depth but i dont believe he will reach for a player at 10 because he truly believes that there is depth in the later rounds and thta the Bills can develope that depth
4b: Russell Wilson QB Wisconsin, say what you want, yeah hes too short but the guy can flat out play, he has a beautiful arm and pinpoint accuracy with a set of hidden wheels...he doesnt need to be our starter but we need an upgrade to Thigpen and some competition for Fitzy so thats hes always on his game...maybe acouple years down the road #16 will be leading the Bills...who knows???
Let me know your feedback and how you think it could improve or worsen the team
Super Bowl or Bust
GO BILLS!!!
Jenkins will not be a Buffalo Bill...see Nix's comments...

I am hearing that a lot of teams don't feel he is worthy of a top 15 pick, let alone our pick at #10...
-
Round #1 - LB Luke Kuechly
Round #2 - LT Jeff Allen - Illinois
Round #3 - WR Alshon Jeffrey

Thanks for the list. Fletcher Cox is most surprising on that list. Guy is a monster and would love to have him, but certainly not a position of need. He might fit the title of Best Player Available at #10. Interesting how many 1st round types the Bills have brought in. Guys not projected to be available at #10 and guys projected to go in the teens and twenties. Bills draft board is either way different than most of the internet experts or Nix is considering moving around.
Fletcher Cox will be a beast....No one could do anything against our D-Line...Actually, that'd be an interesting move...Also, Kyle Williams' Achilles may still not be fully healed...
-
Actually, looking ahead to next year's draft - it doesn't appear to be a strong draft at all except for Barkley....So, I would be open to packaging next year's #1 to trade up...But, I don't think that'd be enough to get pick #3...
-
I think it's to hide their interest in Russell Wilson - I'm actually somewhat serious...
After doing a little bit of research on Wilson, I think he has more ability than Flutie did....Flutie didn't have a machine gun like Wilson has...
-
I'm going to Arizona and San Francisco this year. There is no excuse for me not to go being here in CA.
Got a nice stadium here, but the environment is a bit stale...
-
It will either be Floyd, Blackmon, or Reiff at #10
-
Great research and good point about "proven performance". At #10, which of these can you say that about? Because I think this might be our list of choices at #10.
Tier I
Luke Kuechly -158 tackles as an outside linebacker, plays inside or outside, 16 tackle avg.per game in career
David DeCastro -extremely polished, smart, quick technician, best since Steve Hutchinson
Tier II
Stephon Gilmore -one of the 3 top CB's in the draft
Melvin Ingram -scheme-versatile OLB/DE
Riley Reiff -one of the top 3 tackles but likely not a franchise LT
Michael Brockers -3-4 guy, PFW: "big, strong, instinctive, versatile raw talent" (visted Pats yesterday)
Courtney Upshaw -3-4 guy but could be 4-3 edge setter
I have wanted DeCastro because he almost has no weaknesses and is the surest thing at pick 10...
-
Worst option is you a pick a All-Pro RB (Everyone acknowledges it)...Best thing is to trade pick and get a whole lot for it...
-
I like it!
-
That one isn't the best Mock ...this one is
Round 1 - QB Andrew Luck - Best QB on the board. Should be a great player for years to come
Round 2 - QB RG111 - In case Luck is unlucky and gets hurt we need a reliable backup.
Round 3 - LT Matt Kalil - We have needed a LT for years, with this pick we will take this draft's best LT prospect. I am sure he wil be there
Round 4 - WR Justin Blackmon - Is a great WR prospect. Has the size that Buddy Nix likes. True sleeper pick.
Round 4b- CB Morris Claiborne- He has to have surgery on his wrist, lots of teams are shying away from him now. Another sleeper pick.
Round 5 - RB Trent Richardson - Let's face it Freddie is getting older and Cj was a wasted pick, he has barely shown any flashes. it is time to upgrade this position.
Round 5b- DE Melvin Ingram - This all-american DE will prove to be an adequate back up to Mario Williams when he gets injured this year. We always have lots of injuries, it is best to be prepared for them. I really really like this pick and hope the bills draft him!
Round 6 - DT Dontari Poe -Again we have lots of injuries, Dareus could be a one- year wonder and Williams is coming off of Achilles surgery, plus our backups are suspect. Solid Pickup
Round 7 - RT Reilly Reiff - Who is Eric Pears anyways? Who wants a RT with a fruitty last name. That being said Reiff is a project but can be a good player if patient
Round 7b - OG David DeCastro - Has potential to be a freak in the middle.
I think we filled some needs with this draft!
Kiper had Cordy Glenn as his #14 overall player

Just remember, NO evaluator is perfect....If they were, Tom Brady would have been picked #1 overall and not in the 6th round....
