Oh - Since you have been to this area all of a sudden you are right and he is wrong. I don't think so! Because there are places that sell things to people it means the area is safe?
I too have been down to that area many days and when you ride your bike or go on foot down there in the dark instead of the day time maybe you would not be so quick to tell others what they feel or don't feel. When you get held up with a gun to your head after dark maybe that - oh so safe feelling about seeing a Checkers or a White Castle will leave you real fast.
You have assume alot and you must know what that means. It means you are not reading and understanding what you are reading. You just assume are!
Another funny guy! I've been there at night and during the day. When I ride my bike, I don't use Broad Street--I go down the parallel streets (12th-13th usually) because there are SO MANY PEOPLE AND CARS on the ever-dangerous Broad Street.

Broad and Susquehanna? Oooh...that's a scary place--the intersection of two major roads? Your credibilitiy is tumbling fast. Stop while you're behind. Oh. And I've been there. More times than I can count on foot and on my bike. God, the more I think of this, the sillier you sound! There's a Rite Aid on that corner, and a what, KFC(?), or other fast food restaurant there. Bwahahahahahaha!!! That sounds like Kabul, tough guy! When you see a McDonalds or CVS, do you reach for your gun, sensing the trouble that fast food and pharmacies bring? Do you run in fear from Checkers or White Castle? Does the site of Walgreens make you tremble?
And playing coy about your status as a student (or not) is just another excuse for you to shine a spotlight on yourself. You say "I'm in the Temple Law computer room," and people think you're a Temple Law student. People aren't stupid for assuming you might be a Temple Law student based on the fact of that one post.
People think about you less than you think they do--if you want to correct their assumption, do. If not, don't.

The reason people are so hostile to your post is that licking yourself in public is rude and immature. Not to mention that there's nothing particularly exciting about North Philly. Depending on the area, it's at worst just another bad neighborhood, no different than you'd find in any decent-sized big city.

The first guy in the room with Sayid and Tariq was Kate's dad (the one she always thought was her bioDad--not her bioDad that she axed). Later, he's looking at a pic of Kate when talking to Sayid. Remember too, that Sayid's picture was on the TV when Kate visited her dad at the recruiting office.
Henry Gale is Dorothy's uncle from Wizard of Oz. The professor (the wizard) came to Oz in a hot air balloon. That guy is completely full of crap. Also, Sawyer called the bearded "other" "Zeke"…Zeke is the name of the Cowardly Lion.

Gotta love the press. Brave enough to show pictures of US troops at their worst....and terrified of printing cartoons from Denmark that are apparently causing riots worldwide.
My guess is they whip out a couple new AG pictures a year for the rest of my life. You know, to show us who the "real terrorists" are.....
I've seen that cartoon all over. In Europe, many papers reprinted it as a show of solidarity.
And the AG pictures are newsworthy. They are some of the pictures that didn't surface before. The story's impact has diminished over time, but it's still a story.
And as to the "real" terrorists, I didn't realize that the AG torture scenes were of US soldiers torturing terrorists. I thought they were of US soldiers acting like monsters to POWs--something we would not want done to our own.

I've been hunting, and been hunting on a line. There is specific zones of fire and the only 2 with leaway are the end two guys. If you leave the line, you must announce, when leaving and when coming back. In either case weapons not fired until complete. If you leave or enter the line without announcing, you're free game.
I understand the ettiquette.
But you're still a moron if you shoot someone in the head.
I'm not saying he committed a crime--just that he's unsafe.

Update. Cheney was on the end of the hunt line, and was one of two people within his right to have a broader range of target shooting. This clearly was the fault of the other guy for not announcing his rejoining of the line. BTW, there is a write-up in the Post that details it today.
I've been hunting, and I'm going to stick with placing some blame on the person who shot the other person in the head. That's just me though.

The details will be worth hearing, but what kind of friggin' moron shoots another person while hunting? I've been hunting, and especially when you're with other people, you have to be some kind of 65 IQ moron to shoot one of your companions. Again, awaiting the details, but he's got some 'splaining to do.
A nice eff up for the anti-gun people to jump on. Sure Dick, tell them how safe guns are now.

This is a truly disturbing story Johnny. It's hard to believe that Delay would get promotions on the heels of the indictments. It just shows how little the Congress thinks of the American people and policing itself.
Why was your post met with 5 -6 posts about corrupt Democrats? IThese rubber-glue posts miss the point: it's outrageous that Delay is getting high level appointments!

I use my 15 gig ipod daily, and 2-3 times/week at the gym. I've had it for three years. It's been dropped a million times, smashed in my breifcase, spent the night in frigid temps a several times, and it keeps on ticking. I highly recommend the normal ipods and don't worry about shocks and skipping.

That's good. Neither of them are the type to be bad sports. They showed several shots of Holmgren on the field after the game, looking around. He probably couldn't see Cowher through all the people that surrounded him.

The only one I remember is "Michael Jackson & 3,500 local children" in San Diego.

They showed him trying to seek out Cowher, and also Cowher trying to seek Kolmgren out. I think that they just didn't make their way to each other--the field was pretty confused.

Do you have DirecTV? I know that occasionally (ie: frequently), they reset the "channels I receive" for some reason. It's a bug that they've never fixed. So you'll remove the channels you don't have, and then during the next software upgrade, it gets reset.
I don't think it records things from channels you don't receive, as long as you set it up manually.It's pretty stupid, since it shouldn't be that hard to automatically figure out what you do and don't receive, and has been a complaint for years.

My TiVo knows what channels I get--it does it by selecting your cable/sat provider. I've never heard SDS's complaint from my Tivo friends, and I've never had the problem. I would double check the channel setup (although you probably already have).
