I bet Mahomes could just straight up walk down the field and defenders would just stop and look at everyone like "duhhh what do I do here?"  You touch the dude and you'll get a flag.

Who gives an eff about a stupid flag.  Get the chance - knock that ***** out of the game!

Reid does such a GREAT job scheming players open.

Him and Shanahan are megaparsecs ahead of anyone else in the league at that.

Heard that DeShaun Watson tore his ACL.  Can anyone confirm?

EDIT - it was an Achilles, not ACL

I think what frustrates me about Brady’s playcalling is how there is no scheming for easy short yards to get the first down.  Like every team in the league has plays to pick 2-3 yards and we don’t.

You mean like the easy 2-yd out to Amari Cooper on the third play of the game where he was wide open and he let it go through his hands and bounce off his facemask?

I watched a Mason Rudolph game having lunch at the bar at Puckett’s in Nashville. He was a senior, and we all knew we needed a QB. He looked very intriguing to me.

I mentioned I was at a bar, right?

Enough time has passed. You're forgiven!

"The company offers a Military Package to back up its appearance, adding upgrades like bulletproof glass, body armor, underside explosive protection, run-flat tires, and electrified door handles."

Hmm, that could come in kinda handy here in LA.... 🤔

I hear you.  I hope you are right.  I'm probably just taking out my frustration unfairly on Coleman that we didn't trade up or draft multiple WRs this year.

It's too bad when a high draft pick has to learn such a basic skill to their position in the pros.  (Maybe my ID should be flame bait 😁)

Here are the draft positions and receiving stats (games, rec, yds, yds/rec, TD) for all the first and second round WR in the 2024 draft:

    4   mhj                     6   17   279  16.4   4

    6   malik nabers      4   35  386  11.0    3

    9   rome odunze     6   17   246  14.5    1

    23  btj                      6   25  424  17.0    3

    28  xavier worthy    5   12   179  14.9    2

31  ricky pearsall     0   0    0      0        0    [season ending injury shot in the chest in preseason, may return week 7 !!]

    32  xavier legette    6   16  174   10.9    2

    33  keon coleman    6  12  201  16.8     2

    34  ladd mcconkey  5  19  219  11.5      2

    37  ja'Lynn polk        6  10   78   7.8       1

    52  adonai mitchell  6   8    79   9.9      0

Still a fairly small sample set but based on production so far, nothing here screams out to me "we should have taken that other guy at that spot or sold our future to move up and snag that dude!"

Yeah, trading up to grab BTJ would likely have worked out pretty well (so far) and I wouldn't have been opposed to it in principle if the compensation was sensible, but I think Keon is producing just fine compared to his peers so far. It remains to be seen if he can continue to level up his skill-set to get open vs NFL corners.

I thought it was going to be BUB Means season but this rattler dude can’t hit the broad side of a barn

Serious question are these real nfl teams

Denver's defense looks pretty legit to me.

Passing offense is a work in progress, but 10/14 in a half looks a lot better than 9/30 in a game no?

I'm surprised Kamara is being totally shut down so far.

He came from Deonte Harty getting hurt, hard as that is to believe.

Harty (then known as Harris) was their run vertical speed guy in 2021. Had 570 yards and 3 touchdowns. Shaheed came in as a rookie in 2022 and was cut at the end of camp and put on the practice squad. Week five Harty hurt his foot, went on IR and the Saints signed Shaheed to the active roster to replace him. The next week Shaheed was active and used in the vertical speed guy role. Had similar numbers in that role in 2022 to Harty the previous year and then has earned a bigger role in the offense ever since.

When you are a UDFA you sometimes need luck (or someone else's misfortune) to get your opportunity. And generally you only get one. Shaheed got his at Harty's expense and made it pay. Well done to him.

So Rashid Shaheed is the main reason that clown Harty ended up on the Bills wasting a roster spot for a season?

    I hate him!
