  1. Never. Tiki and Jones are a pretty much a wash. Ravens D far superior in fantasy than NE then you are throwing in Porter. I wouldnt even respond to the guy that offered you that.

I have a question- Who is the top fanatsy receiver? Moss or Owens? Different publications show each as the top wr. Yes i know this belongs on the Fantasy board but the thread is already started.

  2. i'm sorry, but this is ridiculous. with regard to his move to the falcons, he took the one opportunity he'll ever get in his life to make big money and took it. like you'd do differently. as for his play in atlanta, it would have helped if they ran an offense that even slightly resembled a pro-style offense. they don't, of course.

Thats right. Vick will always put people in the seats because he is an exciting player but he's not the type of QB you want to lead your team. Run first- pass 2nd. People may argue this point but an offence needs a qb that will stand in the pocket and find the open man. That is why Price never did well there in my opinion.

  3. In their defense, Duff's states that medium is hot, medium hot is very hot, and hot is very very hot...they warn you

Also, if you have gotten soggy wings(i have never) make sure you order them crispy, and voila, you'll get a nice hot plate of crispy wings.

Duff's is by FAR the best wings in Buffalo

I couldnt agree more. Duffs in OP now has a patio bar too. Tiki torches lit up at night. Plus there is a tv outside for the ballgames. I order medium and extra crispy and they are aweseome. Anchor Bar to me is where a tourist would go. They sell tshirts and bottles of wing sauce. Plus they are very pricey. They are very big wings however but as far as taste- Duffs is where you should go.

  4. you know the old saying " You're on top until someones knocks you off." I would be shocked if any so called expert (tv or writer) didnt pick the Pats to win the East. I think many of us enjoy the underdog role. If we have a geat season and dethrone NE- all of those "experts" will be eating their words.

  5. How can you respect a guy when it took him two seasons to realize he actually had to put some effort into his job?

I guess respect was not the right word. My point was he realized that you cant live off of reputation alone. Most players who have one good season then sign a big deal never figure this out.

  6. I actually gained respect for Peerless during this preseason. I was watching some show on the nfl network and they talked about how his work habits changed. After a couple disappointing seasons he realized he needed to put in more time and effort. That combined with the fact the Falcons now have Michael Jenkins #1. Then he got injured this camp and now he's cut.

I agree it wont take long for him to get picked up by another team. He is a perfect #2. We know that here from when he played alongside Moulds. He is not a #1- they know that in Atlanta now.

  7. Tasker was a fan favorite when he played and an important part of our superbowl run. As a tv announcer he is awefull. I was sitting at home watching the game with my wife and even she could hear all the mistakes he was making. He semed lost during the plays- down and distance was always wrong, penalties were the wrong call and as a whole he was just bad.

I know its the thing to do for networks- stick a former player or coach in the booth but do it as a color analyst not the play by play guy.

Marv was Marv- but in his old age even he sounded lost at times.

  8. Take the under every week in the Bills games. I think last night was a perfect example of how the season could play out. Alot of low scoring games, a few filedgoals and maybe a defensive score. A turnover to give us a short field could produce td.

Last season we had six straight games scoring over 33 points and two of those games we broke 40. Can anyone really see us putting up those numbers this season?

  9. Anyone care to predict what thE AFC East will look like after week one?

    oak @ ne

    houston @ buff

    ny @ kc

    den @ miami

It would be awesome if the pats lost to oakland on thursday night on national tv but highly unlikely. Maybe Moss and Collins will hook up for some long td's.

The Bills and KC at home should take care of business and Miami without Ricky should lose to the Broncos.

    So after week one:

    Buffalo 1-0

    New England 1-0

    NY 0-1

    Miami 0-1
