  1. watched that steeler game yesterday. They go into a hostile stadium against the 1st place team and take care of business. Roethliberger has total contraol of that team (proven by his starting record 16-1 I think). Hard nose running- an o line that opens up huge holes that even an over the hill slow back in the Bus can run through. A couple of sure handed wideouts and a young future star in your tight end.

It has been said that the Bills organization is trying to pattern themselves after Pitt -well thats not happening in my opinion. Dos anyone else agree?

  2. Is it possible to throw over 15 yards? It is just disgusting that every pass we throw is short. This team is so hard to watch without getting sick to your stomach. The worst mistake I made was getting the nfl package on dtv. Because you see all the other teams that are better than us.

Holcomb is a backup. Plain and simple. He does just enough to to get by but you will never get enough from him to be the man and put the team on his shoulders. Not saying JP is that man either but at this point we have no idea.

The sad thing is we probably wont win the division and have little to no chance as a wild card. Come next season we will be in the same exact spot- wondering what we have. Wondering if our defence is over rated, wondering if JP can lead this team. Put him in next week vs the Pats and let him play the restof the season.

That will help clear up atleast one question for 06.

  3. I posted a few weeks ago after the Bills Miami game that the Bills beat a very bad Miami team who at the time was in 1st place at 2-1. After watching the game I figured they would win maybe two or three more games at the most this year. They stink and we better take care of them down in Miami on the 4th of December.

Sweep the fish and jets and split with the pats and we go 5-1 in the division.

  4. can anyone confirm that the game will not be shown on tv tonight outside the florida and kansas city area? I understand if it was not a nationally televised game schedules for sunday it would not be on but I bought the nfl sunday ticket and everygame is supposed to be on.

  5. I think that most opposing quarterbacks always made sure they knew were Spikes was lined up before the snap. That could have been out of respect or fear for the potential hit coming their way. Either way he was a presense on the field. Crowell certainly isnt there yet. Will he become that force? Hopefully the answer is yes but it sure would be nice to have Spikes back just incase the answer is no.

  6. Shaun Alexander and LaDanian Tomlinson. Not bad company to be in Willis. :w00t:

That is awesome but does anybody know the amount td's scored by those three. I bet Willis isnt even close. I think we do stupid things down inside the 10 instead of hammering it in. A pefect example was a thread from last week when they threw it to the fb on third and goal. Seatle pounds Alexander every chance they get inside the redzone and thats why he has two and three and sometimes four touchdown games.

  7. Lamest idea ever!

Why on earth would you tie the Bills success or failure to a donation to a worthy cause?

Wouldn't it be more appropriate to make a donation regardless of the season outcome?

I was thinking the exact same thing. Donate becuase you want to help not becuase you were right on a prediction.

  8. Buffalo 6 NY 4. Wait that was the Sabres and the Islanders last week. Lets go with Buffalo 3 NY 2. After an early safety on Holcomb the Bills hit the winning field goal as time expires. Seriously both of these teams have no offense and will not move the ball. Id be shocked if the combined score is greater the 20.

  9. I said it Sunday to some friends and I'll say it today on the board. You run 4 straight times. if you cant get one yard from your running back and o-line you dont deserve to win the game. Out side the 5 is a different story- maybe you sprinkle in a pass but on the 1 or 2 yd line there is no excuse not to get in. 4 runs!

  10. I agree 100%. What did Holcomb do on the field that was different from what we saw with JP? Dis he throw a pass over 15 yards? No. Evans long completion was yards after the catch. Did he avoid the sack when pressure came? No. the difference and the only reason we won was becuase the Dolphins has a ton of penalties and our defense forced some big turnovers. Turnovers that we had not been getting in the prior weeks. JP needs to be in there and we have to take the good with the bad. Watching on the sideline will not help.

  11. The sunday morning local pregame shows were loaded with peoples opinion on why JP was replaced with Holcomb. I believe it was becuase of the records of the rest of the AFC East. Miami was 2-1 and the Pats were 2-2 and the Bills and Jets stood at 1-3. The Bills were not out of the race for first. So the Bills made the switch at QB. I honestly feel if the Pats were 4-0 there would not have been a change. The chance at a division title would have been dismissed and the Bills would have gone with the learning curve excuse and let JP gain valuable playing experience.

Im really torn here. The Dolphins are a bad team and might finish with 5 or 6 wins. The Jets will be around .500 like they are always are and the Pats will around 10-6. Is it better to keep in Holcomb and maybe squeek out 5 or 6 more wins and most likely miss the playoffs or give the ball back to JP and let him get on the job training.

I dont mean to sound like a pessimist but watching the game yesterday there were two teams out there with a long way to go before they challange for a division championship.
