My god, what a bunch of Sallys around here. I'm with Bison, hit him late if need be...just make sure it's worthwhile. What do we have to lose, the game?? If anyone deserves it, it's Tom Brady.

Isn't a screw insertion pretty standard for Jones fracture? It's what Dez had and he was back on the field 6 weeks on the number.
It depends how displaced the fracture is. For someone like Edelman, they probably don't want to mess around and hope that it heals correctly on its own. I'm surprised Dez Bryant was back on the field in six weeks. They generally say 6 to 8 weeks non-weightbearing for this type of fracture. Everyone heals at different rates though, and these guys have Multi million dollar training staff and facilities at their disposal...hopefully he misses the rest of the year though! I hate the damn *patriots!

Haha, no. I'm a radiologic technologist. I see these fractures often, and take X-rays for surgeons in the OR a lot. Open reduction internal fixation just means they have to cut him open, re-align the bones, and secure them with surgical hardware.

Graham's was different in that the ball was moving. Beckham looked like he had it, got two feet...but it got slapped away. I think they got both calls right.

Surgery means screws to keep the bones in place, I'd say at least 6 weeks.

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that Edelman has broken the fifth metatarsal in his left foot. Garafolo adds that it is believed to be a true Jones fracture.

If it is fractured it's likely the base of the 5th metatarsal, which hopefully is displaced enough to require an open reduction internal fixation. No, I don't feel bad for him.

Collins dropped the INT too, I don't see how you'd argue otherwise when it was very obvious.

Mariota missed a couple games so I think he needs a very strong finish to win. I think it will be Cooper. Gurley also a possibility but he missed some time early.
Jameis Winston is quietly doing really well too. No picks since week 4.

Mariota already has 2 games with 4TD and 0 INT, and Gurley has been tearing it up ever since he stepped on the field. I'm very happy with how Karlos has played but it's super homerish to think he has a shot at ROY.

I take X-rays for a living and shoulder exams are very common. The fact that they showed him on the sideline raising both arms above his head is a very good sign. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that. It didn't bother me that he didn't return to the game considering the score and the fact there were only like 4-5 minutes left when it happened.

No, because apparently they are either too stupid or too undisciplined to have a special teams play without committing a penalty. It's been beyond awful since opening day.

He can't hit a receiver in stride to save his life, can't hit anyone deep to save his life...he's just plain awful. I don't see how anyone that watched the game thinks anything different.
That underthrow INT that was intended for Hogan was beyond awful. The last thing you do on a route like that is underthrow it.
I hope he never sees the field again.

I would be cool with it if the Bills were ever smart enough to get one. We're talking about the *Patriots, Ravens, Bengals, etc that always seem to be the ones getting them. It seems like a very flawed system.
