Reich won the big Houston comeback. Then led the Bills in an easy win over the Steelers. People wanted Reich to play out the string but Kelly started against the Dolphins and won. Reich did get back in the SB gane once the Bills were in a huge hole to the Cowboys. Alas there were no more miracles from Frank.
PTR
Reich went into the game with the bills down 14-7 in the second quarter. He threw a couple passes and got us down to inside the 5 yard line and kicked a field goal to make it 14-10.
Early in the 4th quarter of that game, we were down 31-17, and Bruce Smith made a solid hit on Emmitt Smith, who proceeded to fumble the ball and it bounced like 8 yards behind him (Cowboys were at their own 25 yard line I think). Troy Aikman was right there to fall on it. It would have been interesting to see what the outcome would have been if we could have recovered that and scored to make it 31-24.
Probably a 52-24 loss.

The jags. They seem like huge underdogs and could use all the fan support they can get. So I am liking Jacksonville

Perhaps the holdup is Peter Pan circling a wagon in the OBD parking lot and Mario is watching from a window......confused.
-
We can only hope Mario is able to fill Maybin's shoes!
I wonder if Maybin has that clutch video of himself on his website still. You know, the one where he made a sack in a preseason game. You get to see it from several different angles.
-
If it weren't for TBD, he would've shut that site down years ago. But he gets a steady stream of traffic from here so why disappoint the fans?
True. We may not get Mario and his fiance(e), but we'll always have Peter Pan.
-
If nothing else, Peter Pan got a good flow of traffic to his website today.

In retrospect, opting for the Merriman jersey over the Fitzpatrick may not have been an ideal choice for myself.

They may not add anyone. It's possible that they decide Naaman is a better WR than Martin, so they bring him up from the PS. They signed Marton because he can back-up all four WR positions and is good on ST. But if he is going to be needed to play WR, they may decide to sacrifice the ST for the better WR production from Naaman, who can also play inside and out.
We have Brad Smith, plus CJ and Fred who can all play in the slot for a few games. It all depends on how many games they think Roscoe will miss, and they will have a better idea at the end of this week after he gets more tests. I don't think they would go outside to sign a WR at this point but they may.
Very good points. I keep forgetting about Brad Smith playing some wideout, and why not put CJ in the slot. His speed is probably as on par with roscoe more than anyone else on the team.

Missed yesterday's TO thread? Long story short, no.
I must have, sorry. This wasn't necessarily meant to be a TO thread, it was just one suggestion. I really wanted to see who was out there that you guys thought might be a possiblilty. I figured TO was probably a bad idea, but like I said, at the right price it could be intriguing.

Chan said in his presser that there are some good guys out there. This might be insane, but what about Terrell Owens? He did fine in his time here and didn't really cause any trouble. He'd at least command some attention from opposing defenses which could free up stevie and nelson (as well as provide some depth). As long as the guy could stay in line, I think it's worth a look. Plus it looks like he is hard up for the money anyways.......... a win-win for both sides?

How much more can a guy take? That this organization is cursed is an understatement.
Maybe so, but at least we have the Peter Pan link. How many other organizations have that in their back pocket?
-
Does anyone have an authentic jersey? Are they worth it? I see that I could get a TO authentic jersey for about $120, which is quite the discount from the regular price of about $285. Do they fit akwardly?

Correct.. he'd be a Fullback.
And he would have a "high motor" of course

And I think to myself........
Saints 44
Colts 17

Best part of this is that it took place at TGI Fridays. Didn't McGahee say Applebee's and TGI Fridays were the only hangouts in Buffalo?

Something with a trumpet solo......

I was wondering what you guys think about Bill Cowher as our next coach..............and I'll hang up and listen to your answer.

As much as we knock Tom Donohoe around here, the franchise had a bit more, uh, "juice" when he was calling the shots... he had a way of making things happening off the field...he wasn't complacent.
Is that you, Chris Mortensen???
-
If you think those topics are discussed too much, I've got a link to a Hitler/TO video I'd love to send you.

He's really behind the 8 ball with this latest arrest.

I brought that up to my wife tonight. I said im on edge when they are playing in the regular season.....I said when they play in the Super Bowl, I might have to take some type of med to calm me down or almost knock me out.....
Id be scared to death, but.......what if they actually win.....imagine the feeling. My wife asked me what Id do if they won, I said id cry.....and thats the truth....I would cry, it would be a huge weight lifted of us....honestly I think we would all cry.
I will take all my bills gear/collectibles and burn all of it that night.
