How exactly are some of us being too dramatic? Not being a jerk but are you sitting in 5 feet of snow? Drifts 8-10 feet? Explain what you mean by this. 8 people have died because of this storm. Is that being too dramatic?
Yeah I agree. I lived in the area during the Blizzard of 77 and it took the better part of a week to dig out of that. Granted that covered the entire region, but drifts were really high and took National Guard to move the snow. Had the same issues, nowhere to put the snow. If the current snow does last into the late evening I do not see the travel ban lifted prior to Sat or Sun.

Which of the teams that the Bills have faced so far have a top 5 offense?
I love the Bills play making & stats, but I'm not going to let 5 weeks fool me.
3rd down offense San Diego is currently 3rd at 53%, Detroit is 9th at 46%, Chicago is 11th at 45%

2 DUI's puts in him the NFL substance abuse program which I assume carries a requirement that he stay away from alcohol.
He did not, therefore, suspension.
Also most criminal punishments require no alcohol for at least 1 year.

I do not have a stat for this, but just a perception. My perception is through 2 games EJ is not checking down as much as he did last year.

Aaron Williams is in concussion protocol, "LP" and may be out.
I think it is good news that AW was LP today, that means that he is not showing signs of concussion, if he were it would have been OUT. Lets hope he is full practice by Friday!!!

As others have pointed out, it is an away non-conference game. Possibly the least important game on the schedule. But they need to show they can stop the run. They need to show they can run the ball against the Bears defense. And just a competent game from EJ. 65% completion, no INT's, and around 225 yards.
I slightly disagree, I think this is the chance that the defense shows that it is elite. Show us they can hold a top offense to 20 or less points on the road. Show us this defense is the best in the NFL!!!

Grew up in Pendleton and moved to Tampa in 1983. Learned to love the Bucs, but Bills are still my #1, I rationalized it as they are an NFC team. Then moved to Fairfield, CA in 1985 and while I enjoyed the Raiders and Niners I only went to the games when the Bills played, not a pleasant experience in Oakland. Then finally moved to Colorado in 1998 and I truly ignore the Broncos, though I know a decent amount about them. Get Sunday Ticket every year to see the Bills play...

i decided last week that I, personally, will be evaluating EJ and this team on reg season games only. I still post the practice wrap ups and other post practice comments, and obviously others are posting in practice tweets and that's fine. But I needed to reign in my analysis to what is real.
First thanks for doing this I really like these type of threads.
I also totally agree with this take on EJ. Camp and pre-season really does not mean much, it is the regular season. My memories from last camp was that there were going to be a ton of deep balls and the receiver corps were the strength of the team. Once the regular season started there we hardly any deep balls and the receivers were not the strength of the team.
So what I have got from camp so far is that our D has the potential to be special. EJ we will have to see with regular season games. If the D is special a slight improvement will be all we need to make the playoffs.

What about Doug Legursky? Was he not the worst starter on the line last year. Should he not be on the endangered list? He would be on mine...

From what I have read he did well except real physical teams, like SF, SEA and ARI. Which is a HUGE upgrade because our guards struggled against everybody.

We have DTV just for Sunday Ticket. Once the season is over I suspend the account for 6 months, the max allowed and start back up in July. So I pay for 2 extra months that are not football season.

I found it interesting that they project an 11-5 record but that gives them a 34.8% chance at amking the playoffs? Really? How many 11-5 teams have not made the playoffs?
