You said earlier “Trumptards seem to believe it was real”. Can you point to someone on this board that seemed to believe it was real? It would help to back up your claim here. If you can’t, it would appear you are talking out your ass. Is that possible?

Can you name a normal who thought it waa real?

Should be on your taxes, no?

There’s always a way, if Kamala really wanted to prove it…

Until then, we will just have to chalk it up to her making up the story to try to seem more relatable to the common man- just like she made up her fake grandmother in her book…👍

After all, even McDonalds claims they have no record of her ever working there…

I don't have my taxes from 40+ years ago.

McDonalds said all their franchises don't have records from 40+ years ago.

The only thing that makes it relevant is her bringing it up in an attempt to burnish her middle class bona fides. When viewed through the lens of her genuinely un-genuine persona, it’s easy to see why many would doubt the claim.

Meh.  The only people getting wrapped around the axle about it is Trump, Vance and Trumptards.

She’s a politician and people have every reason to doubt her.

It’s her claim, she should be able to handle something as basic as this.

Handle what?  You expect her to have evidence of a part time job 40 years ago?

She was certainly closer to middle class than Trump has ever been.

LOL, what are your thoughts on SCRAPS doing the debunking. Are you all in? Have you confirmed Scrappy’s work as factual? If so, how did you do it?

Typical tact of the Trumptards.  Can't make an case on your own, call for the mob to bail you out.

Funny how he said Biden could have gone to Congress but ignored the fact that Congress is not in session because of Mike Johnson.

Who debunked it? Did it include a debunking of KJP’s comments then and now?

    Yep.

Meh.  I've gotta wonder how popular the cyber trucks are in the deep red south.  I haven't seen many Teslas when driving through that area at all and the cyber truck is a butt ugly POS that southerners probably wouldn't want.

They can't accurately predict the strength of a storm a day or two out but we should with little inspection or debate trust their climate predictions 2 decades into the future?

Well the basic premise is that warmer waters lead to stronger cyclones.  Seems reasonable since cyclones don't form closer to the arctic.

I saw it wrong. The $3.2B is for non-catastrophic funding. The total requested for FY2025 disaster relief is $23.7B.

I don't see any references to border security or immigration here so the ask doesn't include those items.

It is Congress that directed FEMA to administer the funds for border security and immigration.  I'm not sure FEMA ever asked for it and certainly would not have done so it a "Disaster Relief Fund Funding Requirements" request.

Add in one other questions. Since FY 2025 starts October 1st my question is how did the agency spend their entire 2025 budget (10/1/24 thru 9/30/25) in 3 days?

The full year has not be appropriated.  There is a continuing resolution until December 20.

From what I've read, they are saying they have enough money for operations for now.  Whether of not that will last to December 20 is doubtful.

3 questions and you cannot answer them. i'm not asking if it was stolen. i don't know what trump said. i am aware how money is appropriated by congress.

can you or will you answer the questions?

not the direction i am going at all. i was to see if balloon boy has any integrity or if he's just a **** for the corporate microphone. i'd imagine he can't free think on his own and afraid to speak for herself.

I answered your question regarding how money was spent.  What I think doesn't much matter since it is Congress that decides how to spend the money.  Your argument is with Congress, not me.  Pity you can't figure that out.

    What does FEMA mean?

Did we or did we not use FEMA money for the purposes of immigration?

let me handle this one. i'm about to make him bend over backwards to defend himself.

so, was FEMA money was spent on illegals?

    What does FEMA mean?

Did we or did we not use FEMA money for the purposes of immigration?

The money Congress appropriated was spent in the manner Congress intended.  Nothing was practically stolen.  Donald Trump is manipulating you.

    The answer is yes.

    He/she will not admit it.

You see their contention is that there is "disaster" FEMA money and "regular" FEMA money.

    LOL

    They are so desperate.

    .

You really have no clue how the appropriations process works.  CONGRESS appropriated funds for specific purposes.  They don't just hand $6 trillion over to the President and tell him to spend it however he likes.

I notice you didn't find any fault in the links I provided.

Reposting what I wrote earlier today.

Disaster relief money was not spent on illegals.  Everything you point to says "FEMA money" but FEMA does not get to decide what to spend all the funds on, Congress does.  Congress set money aside for disaster relief and that money was not spent on illegals.  The Republican controlled Congress also set money aside for Customs and Border Protection to help communities that received influxes of migrants.  FEMA administered that money as well, but those are two different tranches of money.

Was it FEMA money?  Yes.  Was it "practically stolen" as Trump said?  No.  Trump is conflating the two to rile up his base but this does nothing to help the victims of Helene.
