  1. Hi Everyone,

I've been looking for reports to see how Josh Allen is doing so far. Any insights or observations? The news around him seems real quiet recently and I haven't heard much about him. To be honest, I was one of those that was disappointed that we didn't draft the other Josh, but I'm hoping that our Josh is showing promise. Thoughts?

  2. Though I've been a member of this board during the past 20 years, I seldom post messages. However, what Gronk did today made me so pissed off so much.

In our next game, we better go after Gronk's knee. Or go after his head and give him a concussion. Who cares if we get penalized? We have nothing to lose at that point. Deliver multiple hits to this head. Have one tackler wrap him up while the other 2 defenders go after his knees. Gang tackle him each time. Take him out. Whatever it takes. The Bills need to stand up for themselves and give the message that they can't mess around with us like that. Yes, culture is fine, but sometime you need to fight back and make it clear that we're not gonna be bullied around.

  3. Say it with me.

    Luke. Freakin'. Falk.

Yes, I agree. I think Luke Falk is underrated, and he's everything we need at QB. He's accurate, throws with anticipation, has good size.

We don't need another rocket-arm QB who has no accuracy and cannot throw with anticipation. Falk is everything we haven't had in the QB position during the past decade. Mark my words.

  4. For the life of me, I don't understand why Pegula does not fire Whaley.

It is obvious to us fans, the rest of the NFL, and the common person that Whaley is a horrible GM and will lead the franchise deeper in ruin.

I know it's not as simple as I stated, but is Terry that blind?

Also, how can Terry be so blind about Russ Brandon while the rest of the world can see so clearly that Russ and Whaley needs to go? What incentive does Terry have to keep Whaley and Brandon?

I've been a fan for 25 years, and this time around, I just don't get it.

  5. This article is right on. Thank you for sharing this. I really wish that the Pegulas would read this article. Bottom line - they need to see through Russ Brandon and Doug Whaley's BS and stop being influenced by their words - they need to fire them. I hope that the Pegulas are discerning enough to do this. If not, it really isn't fair for us fans. Enough is enough. I've been a fan for 25 years, and I am getting tired of this. The fans know and discern more than they are given credit for. Please Kim and Terry, see through the clouds/deceit that Russ and Doug have put over you, and pull the trigger. Please read this Kim and Terry.

  6. I know when you come to a game next year you will see a win. Look foward to seeing you next year. Give a hug to the little one

Thanks mead, will do. We look forward to seeing you next year too.

Has the lack of water damaged your thought process? That is definitely a sign of dehydration.

The GM fills the cabinets with players.

The coaches decide how to use the players.

The cabinets at One Bills drive haven't been this filled with talent, this century. With one exception - QB.

Now the on the field product that is on the coaches.

So we won't be waiving Fire Whaley signs against the Dolphins.

Next time maybe bounce the idea on shout wall before you go full bore with a post.

    smh

Yes, I agree that Whaley has done a good job filling our team with talent....But it just boggles my mind that he's mismanaged the QB position this bad....

I hope I'm not going too far in saying that having a good QB is worth just as much or more than 4-5 good players at other positions. So for example, I'd rather have a good QB with mediocore WR, RB, TE, LB, etc....than a bad QB with excellent WR, RB, TE, LB, etc...

  7. - Thanks for your long dedication to the team its been meager times for sure- I have been one since I was 5 , am 44 now and we have had seasons since incubation

    - On to your point this is NOT Doug Whaleys fault. He has built a very strong team and didnt hire Rex. Sure some say he was in on the process but the Pegulas had a love fest for Rex. He also didnt draft EJ or Spiller--look to Buddy for that. We were all set to hire Hue Jackson which was the right HC hire or we should of kept Schwartz.

    - I wont knock anyones opinion I just dont agree with yours. Rex has been an epic fail ever since hes been a HC. Look to his overall record, handling of QB's, meltdowns, and losses after bye weeks.

It's easy for me to forget that Buddy Nix actually drafted EJ....Whaley was still GM in training, so he's ultimately not the one who drafted him. So I guess I cant blame Whaley for drafting EJ. Thanks for the reminder billsfan.

I am not a NFL scout by any means, during the past couple years, my intuition was that EJ just didn't have what it took to be a QB. There are some basic, fundamental things that were just off about him. Again, this is an observation from a fan. Hindsight is 20/20, but I was hoping that a GM of Whaley's stature would have recognized this too. I shouldn't have made the comment that he doesn't care about the team or the fans - it just baffled my mind that Whaley "overlooked" some very fundamental flaws of EJ that many fans can spot from far away, thus I made that comment in frustration.

    Thoughts:

Dough Whaley has put together top to bottom the most talented team we have seen in years, mabye ever. That is all in good, except one critical piece. That is the QB. Now if Tyrod does not get hurt, who knows what the season is. But i suspect by the nature of his play and his size he is going to be hurt more often than not.

Until the Bills find that guy at the most important position in sports, we can fire every GM, every coach, hire new ones and the outcome will be the same.

    Agreed.

  8. Okay okay.....maybe I was going a bit overboard....

I'm just really disappointed that he's stuck by EJ for so long and is almost trying to force things to work out with him - almost like fitting a square into a round hole. And he cut Fred Jackson and traded Cassell - you all know this....The moves just didn't make sense as a whole and my gut feeling was that his ego has been hurting the team (and the fans) lately....I mean we could have drafted David Carr or Bridgewater in the past drafts if he had recognized early on that EJ was just not cut out to be a NFL QB...I could go on and on, but hopefully you see where I am coming from.

  9. While I feel your pain, Its not just about the GM this year! So many factors are involved but the buck stops at the GM for the talent on the field, and stops at the coaches at what they do with that talent.

So, who hired this HC? The people in the room were the CEO, the GM, and the new owners Terry & Kim Pegula, and the owners made the hire. We recently found out from Leroi that the CEO Russ Brandon has been involved in the draft process, and probably persuaded the new owners that they would know who they wanted as their HC after they spoke with the prospects for the HCing job.

More then firing the GM this franchise needs that football czar that Pegula first wanted to hire in Bill Polian, and when Polian backed out they didn't pursue anyone else for that czar job. Even the NFL wanted the new owners to hire an NFL experienced knowledgeable adviser for the team.

The 4-12 Jets from last year are now 4-2, and their owner Woody Johnson hired two long time experienced NFL men to hire their new GM, HC for them. Woody chose Ron Wolf & Charley Casserly.

You can read about it here, http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/jets-consultants-casserly-wolf-long-experience-article-1.2064641

thanks for your feedback - I feel a little better now...hopefully Pegula will hire a solid football "czar" this offseason to really turn this ship.

  10. I am 34 and have been a Bills fan for 24 years. I live in California and have flown across the country to 3 Bills home games only to see them lose all of it. I've been through all the joys and tribulations since 1990.

The Jaguars game was the most disheartening game I have seen in 24 years.

The root cause of this game and this season has been DOUG WHALEY. He needs to go. He does not care about the team nor the fans. He is selfish and only cares about his ego. Don't we deserve much better as loyal fans?

I petition that during our next home game, we fans create "Fire Doug Whaley" signs and wave them in the stadium for the Pegulas to see.

I rarely post message like this, but I felt a strong conviction to do so, and I hope you as fans can relate.

LETS CREATE "FIRE DOUG WHALEY" SIGNS DURING OUR NEXT HOME GAME.

    Thoughts?
