1st play is a pass, 2nd play a run. After the 2nd play he says Miami coming right out to pound the ball, calling run plays on 1st 2 plays.
Then, it was villareal getting beat for the miami sack.....dumdorff says he beat fowler.

looks like old PK didn't watch as much of the pre-season games as we did. He probably caught a highlight or two on ESPN or NFL Network.
This is an old carry-over, he reported this same thing just as camp was getting started. He hasn't updated it since, and obviously things have changed.
If there are any vets on the team that think holcomb should start, they are blind and stupid.

I like Peter King. One of the highlights I look forward to on WGR. Was bummed when I heard that he won't be able to continue on WGR anymore.

i am tired of the espn website. Way to much 'insider only' stuff....i refuse to pay and sign up.

If you remember the guys at training camp were underhandedly backstabbing JP, and routing for Holcomb to win the job.
Now they are saying he deserves it, it is the best move for the bills and that the team should be better in the long run.
Complete about face on that one!
Some of the national media appears to be coming around on jp as well.

I think holcomb has to go, one way or another. I would cut him if Nall beats him out, or if it is close. From the reports i've heard, there's still at least some players that would prefer holcomb (may have been pre training camp). Don't need another split lockerroom. Cut him and there is no more controversy.

best play i saw all game was by KWill. He was double teamed, fought threw, splitting the two guys blocking him, and put down Deshaun Foster for no gain. WOW! And that was against the Carolina's starting OLine!

I for one am hoping JP is the starting QB this season. I am hoping he, by the end of the year, shows that he is a legitimate NFL starting QB. I don't have my hopes so high to think he is going to the pro bowl soon, if ever. A middle of the road QB would be best case scenario for now.
There are 4 things I take away from JP's performance tonight:
1) His inaccuracy early is troubling.
2) On at least 3 plays where Holcomb would have been sacked, he created space and time with his running ability. It is uncanny how can get out of a sure sack sometimes, avoiding a negative play. On 2 of those 3, the result was a 1st down. The other an incomplete pass.
3) It was a good sign that, while he struggled early, he was able to overcome it. That's been a knock on him in the past...he looks good, and then he makes a bad throw goes into a shell. Well, this time he played his way out of it and looked good after playing poorly.
4) Even on the throws that were inaccurate, he made the right decisions and was throwing to the right receiver. That decision making is a big thing. WR's also dropped a couple of balls that they should have caught (including Josh Reed on JPs 1st play, that would have been another 1st down against the carolina 1st team).
We'll see how he does next week.

It's old news. Kirwan was at camp way back well before even the 1st preseason game, when it was still a competition. And he's talking about vincent i am sure. So much has changed since then. I don't give this any credence at all.
