They were really going after Mahomes on some of the morning football shows.  It was strange.  Did you know Mahomes is "only" 3 - 2 as a Super Bowl starter?

My experiences have been that 80% of the national NFL "experts" are vain, pompous know nothings whose opinions change on a dime in reaction to the last game.  Sure Mahomes sucked yesterday.  So what it happens.  For the first time I'm seeing some of the Allen hate redirected by these people against Mahomes and it's weird.

There are a lot more places to get thoughtful analysis than there used to be, but also a lot more commentators who contribute as much as the guy down at the end of the bar. If you don't win, you're trash, is a simple, easy message to argue and get people riled up.

Likely.  If as has been reported Coleman gave his "advice" to Josh in the huddle, then why was it also necessary to do the gesture?  Coleman either thinks Josh needs to learn by repetition, a little slow on the uptake, or the gesture was for the benefit of fans in the stands and at home watching on TV.

Come on, you can't make these kinds of statements then act surprised at the reaction you're getting.

Why are we even thinking about wildcards? Did the whole team injure its spleen last night?

It's a long standing mid-November tradition to think about all the ways the Bills might sneak into a wild card spot. We just aren't used to approaching it from the other side.

Completely different expectations within the 2 organizations. Most Bills fans content with winning the division and making the playoffs every year given our history.  Giants fans expect Super Bowls.  They expected the team would keep ascending after year 1 when in reality they completely over-achieved.

But (outside of that first year) the Giants aren't making the playoffs! Daboll and Schoen aren't on the hot seat because they're failing in the divisional round every year.

I'd be fine with that if they allowed teams equal possessions in the playoffs.

I say no regular season OT, in the playoffs add a full quarter and see who's winning at the end. Add another quarter if needed.

You'd bet that the QB who is tops in the league for generating TDs has almost an entire season's worth of games where he didn't score a single one? I'd take that action

Looks like I was way off on my thinking on this one, even in those first 2 years before Allen emerged he scored a TD in almost all his games. Maybe you get to this number if you only look at passing TDs (there were several games where he had no passing TDs but 1+ rushing TDs) or erroneously include games where he was out injured and Peterman/Barkley/Anderson were filling in for him. So now I'm curious as to where this number actually comes from and if it is just plain wrong or misinterpreted.

    Under the most generous reading:

2018: Ravens (Allen didn't start but did play)

    Packers

Texans (Allen started but got knocked out of the game)

2019: Jets (season finale, Allen got the "start")

    2020: Jets

    2021: Jaguars

    2022: None

    2023: None

So that's 6, and a couple of those are a stretch as to whether they should even count. So yeah, no idea where that 14 number comes from.
