But there are millions of working class Republicans on this board--you know, the Trump voters--who must absolutely despise Dave Chapelle.

Isn’t it the left that’s been attacking people the past 20 years for using the wrong word, claiming ‘hate speech’ or some such nonsense?   ?

    Lol, and most Americans still

    want him to replace Trump!

Poll of the week: A new national Quinnipiac University poll finds that former Vice President Joe Biden, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, California Sen. Kamala Harris and South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg all lead President Donald Trump by significant margins in potential 2020 matchups.
Biden is ahead Trump by the most (16 points, 54% to 38%), while Buttigeg is up by the least (9 points, 49% to 40%).
What's the point: The Quinnipiac poll was the second probability poll that meets CNN standards and was conducted in August which found Trump down by at least 5 points against all his most likely challengers. In both the Fox News poll out earlier this month and Quinnipiac's latest, he trailed his most likely challenger, Biden, by double-digits. In fact, in an average of all the August polls (those that meet CNN standards and not), Biden was up by a 49% to 39% margin.

We're still over a year away from the 2020 general election, so don't take these polls to the bank.

Oh.....well, there you go!   Guess they can start printing the new Oval Office stationary.  After all, when was the last time a CNN poll was miles off course?

I try to tape and watch the semis and finals if they are going to be competitive

as a somewhat fan it's hard to devote up to 5 hours for a match

frustratingly, the man who is ahead in sets often tanks an entire set to rest up, so that's 40 minutes i can fast forward through

Djokovic tanked the 2nd and 4th sets, basically, against Federer at Wimbledon 2019, good strategy

1970s was the best for personalities and extreme rivalries.

I think we started going in the early 80s.  Post Borg, but Mac, Jimmy, Lendl, Becker, Evert, Marina, etc.  I remember watching Stefen Edberg as a teenager playing the junior tournament on the of the side courts, thinking, ‘wow, this kid is good!’

Nothing like going the first week and being able to hop around to different matches and seeing the crowd gather as word spread about an unexpectedly tight match.

PS— you want to talk about great US Open memories...

I used to go every year back in that era....the 80s/early 90s was incredible for tennis.

Wifey is actually flying out tomorrow night to meet up with friends in NYC for the weekend and going to the Open on Sunday.

I also don't think Marv was a bad coach.  I think he was a great coach.  His style got them to four Super Bowls.  I do think it bit him in the ass in the first one, but overall, I think we simply lost to better teams.

Marv was good at keeping a lot of big egos tuned in and on the same page, which was pretty important for that group.

But he’s wasn’t a great game day coach.

  6. Why does everyone assume you'd be flying at great speed?  What if you only fly at 20 mph?   That's not gonna be super practical for much.

How are you going to stay warm while flying?  Can't go very high before it starts getting pretty damn cold.  What happens in winter?  Or if it's raining?  Wind chill?

And if you fly low, how are you going to keep rednecks from taking shots at you?   "Hey, here he comes again, everyone reload!!!!"

Sit in the accountants' offices at a bunch of fortune 500 companies and buy options with the info.

Retire in a few weeks and then have a lifetime of fun.

    Seriously, what else is there?

Once the second one is accomplished I can have my own private jet and won't need to fly myself anymore.
