  1. Shaw,  I enjoy reading your post game write-ups and this may be your finest piece.  I don't know what it was about this particular game,  because we have seen plenty of horrible football over the past 18 years,  but the people I watch the game with all had the same reaction......which is, we've  had a enough of this nonsense,  why are watching this.   To add insult to injury, we go home and watch a 4:00 PM game like the Saints vs. Rams and we think to ourselves we will ever be able to compete if this is how the rest of the league is playing the game?  It looks like the Bills are long way off from being able to compete which in the NFL today is......putting up points via the touchdown.

Thanks for another great post game write-up.

  2. I wish I had your sense of smell :)

Can the Bills defense put pressure on Brady....it doesn't seem to matter what kind of o-line the cheats put on the field, they always seem able create a pocket and provide the time he needs to throw, which isn't much, if it is a critical 3rd or 4th down late in the game....their o-line can hold at will and there will never be a call.

As a fan I wonder if our o-line can protect TT and give him time to throw.....that may be even more critical as Buffalo can't afford 3 and outs, what was it, 6 in a row last game?

I am almost conditioned to lose to the Pats with Brady at the helm. 3-27 against him or something like that; losing in every way imaginable; with a blowout loss it seems in one of the two games each year.

I hope the Bills find a way Monday night!!

    GO BILLS!!!!!

  3. If Buffalo wants a big back late in the draft, Doug Marrone should look at his old pupil in Jerome Smith. 245 lb beast who runs hard and has very good hands.

Good put, I have been hoping to see Smith in a Bills uni for two years now, I think that would an outstanding draft choice, surprised more Cuse fans have mentioned him

  4. IMO, we need:

    - QB 1, QB 2

    - RB 2, RB 3 (Assuming FJ isn't FJ of 2011)

    - WR 2, 3, 4 (I'm not really happy with any of our talent there. If Nelson comes back and regains form, I'll lower it to WR 2, 4)

    - TE 1? 2 (We need a more relevant threat at the position)

    - OL Depth in general, possibly a Guard or two

    - LB (We need a whole sale change here, Barnett is decent, but getting older, everyone else stinks)

    - CB 2, 3 (No talent outside of Gilmore, and Gilmore isn't even that good)

    - SS (Wilson's over the hill, even if he's a good lockeroom guy)

    - K/P - Both our kicker and our punter could be improved

Only area I think we are set? Defensive Line.

The problem with this team is keeping "locker room" guys like George Wilson in the game that can't play. Titans and Rams, two ints to seal WINS, stone hands reacts as though catching is being learned like a toddler learning to walk, not close on either attempt, how can you be a locker room guy if you can't make a play? My hunch is he is a "locker room" guy because he excuses his teammates from not making plays as well.....thus the acceptance of losing in the locker room........ Bring back the bickering bills!!!!!!!!

  5. Things get heated around here from time to time, debates turn ugly, feelings get hurt.

That said, I hope no one takes anything that happens on this board too seriously. I know most of us aren't grudge holders and that we all come here because it's such a great board with great posters and mods.

Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you. Thanks also to Scott and the mods.

May you all have a safe, healthy, and happy Holiday!

Well said San Jose Bills Fan

  6. Yeah what is up with GW in just two years he went from a skinny little dictator looking coach to a bloated stoner look with tinted glasses and a visor. The guy looks ridiculous

And he was our HC who said he didn't want FAT guys on the defense; and away went Phat Pat Williams

  7. Stop. He dropped a crucial pass and went down if an opponent sneezed. Be serious please.

    Bill,

I really enjoy your posts, but Spiller had a nice game today, the long TD called back on the hold was technically a hold, however it is too bad those rules do not apply to Buffalo defenders when runner get the edge on them??? WTF

Speaking of critcal drops, how do you feel about #13; albiet he was a 7th round pick; do you pay a guy #1 WR money considering how often well thrown balls clank off his hands; not to mention I never see him "just get the ball" like other top WR do for their team and QB. Spiller had a nice game today Bill; I wish he was given a few more chances in the 2nd half.

  8. huh

The recovered fumbles; the int, KC missed a FG, an 11 yard TD pass after two penalites; one meaningless turnover on Buffalo's part; everything seemed to go Buffalo's way on Sunday on the road; that is what I meant by "get the bounces"; can't see it happening again.

    GO BILLS!!!!

I see I missed typing "get" earlier; whoops
