  1. I got smart this time and had my friend put a in line heyward chlorinator when he set up the sand filter......so its getting constnnt flow of Chlorine while the pump is running......so I am not sure what more the liquid chlorine would do.

In order to kill the algae I have been shocking the pool the last two days.

Even with the autochlorinator you will still need to put in liquid weekly. Depending on your pool size you should be looking at 2.5 to 5 gal a week. Also I am a HUGE fan of Drop Out. Put a bottle in and run the filter for 2 hours then shut it down and let sit overnight. The next day vacuum on waste and all that crap goes right out the drainage hose. Pool will be crystal clear the next day!

    - We make the playoffs and return to prominence under Buddy and Gailey.

    - THE BROHM makes Pro Bowl and Bills go 10-6. Hardy comes of age.

So just how will Brohm win the job prior to the draft, OTA's, Training camp?

  3. Poor cities/countries, have poor construction and very little in the way of building codes. A city like Port Au Prince has very little chance of standing up to an earthquake or any other natural disaster. The majority of the buildings in Haiti are made of concrete and without rebar.

....not too mention very little emergency and recovery resources. One of the reports said that Port Au Prince has two functioning fire stations.

When I was there in 97 if the rain came down too hard with a little bit of wind there was damage everywhere. I can't imagine what it looks like after this!!!

  4. Practical Question: While the Dominican Republic is no wealthy country, why is it so much better off than Haiti? You'd think a caribbean country would have something of a semblance of a tourism industry to help the economy?

Prayers to all affected by the quake.

One would think that would be the case... The unfortunate reality is that its not. When I was there in 97 I also went to Club Med in Haiti. While it looked nice enough and all with palm trees and clear blue water you could see syringes by the dozen at the bottom while walking the beach. Alot of the problem there is self created. For example: They dug holes in their own roads so that our vehicles would have to go slower allowing them a better chance of running up and grabbing something from our trucks. I understand poverty and all but don't destroy the little you do have to try to get something else.

  5. Every now and then something happens to jolt us back to reality and what is really important in life. Haiti was hit by a 7.0 magnitude earthquake, its strongest in almost 240 years, and did massive damage to the very poor country's woefully unprepared infrastructure. I have a friend from the capital where the quake hit the hardest that has not been able to get in contact with his family back home and fears the worst. Millions of people have been affected and tens of thousands are dead with more being pulled from the rubble every day. Please pray for him and his family and the millions of people affected by this tragedy...

    Tragic indeed...

I was in Haiti (Puerta Prince)sp in 97 building 2 schools and 2 dorms for underprivileged children. The construction there is horrible at best and I am not surprised by the devestation that we now see. Not for lack of want to or talent but lack of funding for supplies so they make their own. While we were taking our material to our jobsites the locals would actually attempt to jump onto our moving trucks and grab whatever they could risking injury and death for better quality supplies.

I hope they find your friends family. Since the majority of the construction there is concrete they are actually finding many more survivors than they originally planned due to the pockets that were created when buildings were damaged.

  6. The shake up for this roster is imminent and if a big body WR with some speed is needed then I don't think Hardy is that guy. Looking at the Giants' needs they suffer in the secondary the most and their S Kenny Phillips had microfracture surgery on his left knee and may not be the same player that they drafted. I think that it would be interesting to see if their 2009 3rd rd pick WR Ramses Barden would be available in a trade for some secondary/S help. Whitner for Barden could serve a dual purpose in establishing a new direction for the Bills.

Not sure about giving up on Hardy at this point. The guy hasn't been on the field to get an accurate assesment of what we have in him. Look at Malcom Kelly from the Deadskins. He hadn't done anything either but was allowed some playing time during the last few weeks of the season and the kid starting showing alot of promise. The same goes for Fred Davis.

While I am not saying that he is the next T.O. or anything I am saying that without some playing time in game situations how do we know?

  7. Snyder is a dink. Shanny will be there and I have a feeling he wont be able to do much there because of Snyder.

And that will be bittersweet. He will be handcuffed with the Deadskins wishing he was in Buffalo. Anyone that goes to work for that joke of an owner is a douche!!!

  8. Everybody who follows the Bills has duly noted that the Bills will not replace Dick with a big name coach because Ebenezer Wilson will not spend the necessary money on a Cowher, Gruden, Shanahan, Schottenheimer.

But here's the thing. Has Ralphie thought about spending less on PLAYERS to find that money?

I for one would be willing to release one of our non- pass rushing def. ends in order to get one of the above coaches.

Is there any question that a great head coach (for 5 million) is much nore important to a team than one 5 million player?

Just do it Ralph. Get 'er done Russ.

Dont we already spend the least amount of money on players in the entire NFL?

  9. This!

3 years here and never sees the field in a regular season game. Might as well use this game to see what we have going forward with -yet another- revamped 'O' plan.

I wanna see him play today.

Not gonna happen today unless he can get to the game from Roscoes house....He is not active today.
