Yep and remember all those angry posters that attacked Whaley and the Bills for letting him walk. Even after a a very substantial offer on the table
Probably the same group of ax grinders jumping on the Anti-Whaley train now after the FJ cut
you fools will be proven wrong again
The Byrd is proving to be a Turd

Anybody really care about he said she said news reporting
I sure don't
LETS PLAY SOME FOOTBALL
-
LMAO this is awesome.
so what the over under on the BJ's 10 ?
-
traded for a 1st rd pick
-
We will see if they do.
of course they will .. Fred had little impact the last few years
-
Yep!
Probably the most beloved player since the Thurman-Kelly- Bruce Days, and the way it went down just wasn't right. From what I read Whaley didn't give Fred the option of taking less money or even asking if he were willing to retire.
and what would it of mattered if he took less money. You have younger talented backs on the roster that need ot be here for the long haul
it was the right decision to be made, and no matter how it was made a bunch of irrational fans would of reacted the same way regardless
-
Great post...except it will be ignored by those who are ripping Whaley and want him tar and feathered.
It just makes me laugh that there is always a contingent that has to have a fall guy that needs to blame someone for everything and grind that ax non stop
I love Whaley as our GM. He makes bold moves and has definitely helped make this team much better is short time. I don't expect perfection but I'm enjoying what I see on the field compared to what we had pre Whaley
-
it was a good trade for the Bills because it filled a big time need and improved their offense, and they felt Bradham>Kiko
completely agree. Kiko would been a nice keeper, but if you want a McCoy you need to give up a Kiko
-
Sweet baby Jeebus....This has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever read on this board.
Anyways, gotta go, having lunch with Russ Brandon, Terry Pegula's dog and Nanker to figure out how to control the message here.
he has more.. he been spamming the dumb a lot recently
-
I was just trolling
I am fine with the trade and I fail to see why this was a bad trade for the Bills
On Phillly's side.. I just don't care
its not a bad trade for Eagles either way IMO unless their run game is worse this year or Murray and Mathews get hurt. Both are injury prone, McCoy never was.
-
I really hope he gets better. But until then, terrible trade!
Yeah I fully agree...Philly really screwed up with this one
-
No. Read through his twitter feed (which I just did). Coaches, people in football ops, etc. means more than "some coaches." To be honest, I'm going to move on because I realize I'm arguing with people that think Whaley is a good gm. I think he's run of the mill -- good on defensive talent; lousy on the qb -- and also a bureaucratic infighter. He might be better at the player side of things than his predecessors, but that's not saying much. But if the team gets to 8-8 (the Bills real record last year if that Pats game had mattered at all), all of the sudden he's a great roster builder. I need to see a lot more than that before arriving at this conclusion. But this board features a lot of people who are inherently pro-management, so the conversation has predictably drifted to the point where it is now ("hard-headed" pro-Whaley folks snarking at the Jackson loyalists while also resorting to the cheapest trick in the book, blaming the media).
Anyway, I thought it was a dumb decision to cut Jackson for more than one reason. I'll leave it at that.
yes you are because Whaley is a very solid GM...

Whaley held a press conference and went on the John Murphy show and laid out what happened. He said Terry and Kim were consulted. People now think he is lying?
too funny.
If he's lying he sure wouldn't be dragging Mr and Mrs Pegula's name into an interview for all to hear
-
i don't get the love for whaley here. is he a top 10 gm? is he as good at his trade as jackson is it his? i don't believe so.
I believe when it the numbers are crunched in the years ahead Whaley will be considered a great GM. Fred will always be remembered as a solid RB who came into the league the long hard way and nothing more
Really do not understand at all the dislike for Whaley from the ax grind crew
-
You guys wash Whaleys balls even better that the MNF crew wash Brady's when he is playing. Well done!
Whats wrong with you ? It seems to most of us you just want to grind an ax for what ever self serving purpose you have
-
Fred was cut I'm way over it already
this is professional football players are cut all the time. Accept it
Some Bills fans are just always looking for axes to grind. then you have to listen to them whine for years. That gets real old....
Fred should of known and realized that there are no guarantees to a roster spot and handled it like a man. Fred has just become another press whiner we've see 1000 times before
-
No different then McKelvin. It took him a few years to learn to play pro CB
He will make mistakes he will get better
-
I think that's pretty harsh. It's not unusual to have favorite players on other teams - guys you liked in college, ex-bills, etc.
This year I will be rooting for Fred Jackson and Stevie Johnson
I won't they are not playing for the Buffalo Bills I won't even follow them....
I have 0 allegiances to any player unless they are on the roster.
I hope FJ does well, but in all honesty it wouldn't bug me a bit if he didn't
-
Truth. I think this comes from having a young and insecure GM. Hopefully, he'll mature over time.
ROTFLMAO
this is hysterical... man nothing but comedy these days
Its hysterical..

1.) Jim Kelly
2.) Fred Jackson
3.) Darryl Talley
4.) Frank Reich
5.) Steve Tasker

I poo poo'd on the idea early mostly because the cinderella story is so rare...
but after training camp and 3 preseason games I see a damn good QB candidate. Scans the field well and goes through progressions quickly. Can extend plays with his legs and pocket awareness. Makes well times throws and he has some good accuracy.. and he can scramble on top of all that
Really excited to watch him play
-
Seems like many have changed thinking that Tyrod not worth bring in
I would of bet the farm saying TT would not be the starting QB back when this thread started.
But there is no denying it by watching him play. He sees the field well he throws the ball well and he is a dual threat to boot.
I've been extremely impressed with how good TT really is. we may have found that diamond

I hope if the Bills do not win the SuperBowl this year that the Seahawks do so Fred can go out a winner. Fred deserves to be respected.
This is something the Bills management failed to do when the released him yesterday. They tried to say the right things but I'm not buying it. Fred's release does not feel right. my eyes tell me that, my gut tells
me that, and my heart tells me that.
My god.. Are you really serious, your loyalty is to Fred Jackson a aging 34 year RB who has been injured often in recent years and lost of step.
get a grip that has to be the most ridiculous retort to this logical release of a player.. I can't stop laughing at how ridiculous and completely irrational this rant is
Fred has been more than respected. He has $$$ millions to back that up as well. Its a pro game and this is the reality
