How does this work - will he not take up a roster slot?
-
Would have preferred Devonshire. Hardy is a low ceiling guy. At best he is a special teams player - and can hill in when our entire secondary is hurt.
-
Malik Washington, TJ Tampa, Austin Estime, Hunter Norzad, or MJ Devonshire is my list.

I'm not as surprised when considering the cost of trading up.
Ya - im very surprised we appear to actually be executing this volume of late round picks. Maybe we can move a couple for 4th rounders next year? Doubtful. but a lot of hope being put in the hands of 5th rounders.

I’ll put my trust in beane here. I agree - not the WR I wanted for all the reasons stated. But there are still some good WRs left - and mid/late round WRs bloom all the time (see Diggs!).
right now we have Coleman, Shakir, Hollis, Samuel, Kinkaid and Knox. Toss in basically a rookie with Shorter and whatever hope you can muster for Hamler. Add in one or two more kid round lottery players. It’s not a bad group. No superstar, but 6-8 good players. Plus we still have the option to add in another player (OBJ, Higgins, Ayiuk) etc. Beans always grams a couple guys late (Sheffield etc. )
And we filled a key spot in safety and DT with solid guys.
so No, I’m not thrilled. But I see how this could work. And other than Elam, Beane has proven to be a pretty good evaluator of talent.
so we’ll see. Go find a Gabe Davis or Stevie Johnson or countless others in the next 4 rounds and none of this will matter.

Franklin, Baker, Walker or Benson...
-
really only WR makes sense here. Maybe Kneeland.
-
Eagles always win the draft it seems. Can always count on them to get the (seemingly) stud that falls.
-
How is Cooper still there?
-
Shoulda been a clue.

DeJean or trade down (highly prefer trade down)

I have no idea what to think right now. Hope we trade down. Only acceptable alternatives are DeJean and Newton. Might be able to grab Worthy or Legette or Mitchell...but I'd rather trade down and get another 2nd rounder and grab the best WR there...

Thank goodness. I absolutely did not want Chop Robinson. Can't get to the QB, usually won't happen in the NFL.
I honestly dont understand this take at all....

Chop in Miami isn't fun...

Im starting to get nervous here. Starting to get into trade-up for BTJ and if not, I sure hope we have a partner to trade down. These CBs and Safeties just aint doing it for me. Lots of other good WR options in round 2.
Rd 4, Pick 128: RB Ray Davis, Kentucky

Just heard his backstory. Really hard not to root for this guy.
