What has Lineart shown so far that would make him such an enviable catch anyway? He plays for a team LOADED with talent. I compare him right now to Jason White of Oklahoma and the fact that he stayed in school indicates to me he may not have the fire to prove that he is a top flight leader. So my answer to the question of who wins the sweepstakes is WHO CARES.......

I dont know how anyone can say that after ONE year that Evans is better than Moulds. Again, let me reiterate that I like Evans and feel he has the POTENTIAL to be a very good to great receiver, but how can you say that he is better? This argument is either a statistical one or a talent one... Statistically...... Games - Rec - Yds - Avg - Ave/Game - TD's Moulds 16 88 1043 11.9 65.2 5 Evans 16 48 843 17.6 52.7 9 Moulds had the better statistical season of the two. He faced DOUBLE-TEAMS every game and made countless clutch catches. He was consistent in the fact that he caught passes in EACH game. Talent..... While I will never discount the talent that Evans has. He has not shown yet that he can or will make the clutch catch on a consistent basis. How many games over his career has Moulds made such catches? Moulds has shown the propensity to do everything that a receiver is asked to do very well. I know he drops balls.....all receivers do. We as Bills fans really cannot find fault in Moulds' career as a Bill. He has excelled in all aspects of the game....on and off the field. Will Evans do teh same? only time will tell, but right now...it isnt close..... Moulds is the best receiver we have...PERIOD......

This sounds eerily similiar to the question that was asked after Peerless Price had a great season. While I like Evans and the progress he is making as a WR.......LETS GET REAL.... The reason why Evans is able to be in the position he is to make the plays that he does is BECAUSE OF MOULDS...... Moulds is the definition of a #1 receiver. He is CONSTANTLY double-teamed and still makes plays. I dont kow if Evans can face that kind of pressure and still make plays. He is a gifted receiver, but iit amazes me how quickly people overlook the contribution that Moulds being on the other side has on Evans. Peerless Price is a bust as a #1 receiver.....I dont know if Evans will be or not, but as long as Moulds is around he will enjoy single coverage and hopefully will continue to make plays......
