It'll be Shady, #12 and more picks to the Giants for #2. They need an RB and seem committed to Eli to win now.
-
Same as any week, I root for whomever is playing the Pats! But also the LIons and Raiders...
-
I was counting Hogan in the mix, but I see now that he won't count.
-
With all the guys we've lost this year, we should do well next year with comp picks too.
-
Left Buffalo without a contract, on his way to Detroit...
-
Couple of points here.
1) we all killed the Bills when Evans was traded as it was reported it was all Overdorf who made the trade for economic reasons, and Nix did.not make the trade for actual football reasons.
This is just personal between he and Mehta as MehTa put a butt hurt on him and his boy Marrone.
No "we all" didn't. He was overpaid at that point and wouldn't do what Chan wanted like block downfield and go over the middle.

Schein is a tool. I couldn't stand him when he was on the NFL on SiriusXM. His voice was like nails on a chalkboard and he didn't know what he was talking about. I remember he and Rich Gannon absolutely slayed the Bills when they traded Lee Evans.

They tried to get Frank Gore for cheaper. He fell through and I think they panicked. But even so, they got 3 great players (murray, Matthews, kiko) for not much more than the cost of 1 (McCoy). In this league you need more than 1 good RB and now they have 2. They got the better value there's no doubt about it. It's not that I don't like McCoy, it's about getting the players at the right price
How could they have tried to get Gore before McCoy? The trade for McCoy was agreed to almost a week before they could even talk to free agents legally.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I thought once they placed the tag on him, the 6+ Million (or whatever) counted against this years cap? They are guaranteeing that salary with the tag unless someone signs him and they don't match it.
-
I don't know if anyone mentioned him but the Raiders C Stefan Wisniewski might be an option. He's only 25 and the Raiders aren't expected to re-sign him according to Rotoworld last month. I think he'd be an upgrade at C and Wood can compete for guard position...
I like the idea of adding Matt Moore too. I think they'll draft an RB and roll with Dixon, Fred, Bryce and the rook

I think Spiller and Searcy are gone and they re-sign Hughes. The only big splash I'd like to see is Iupati. Medium splash maybe Clay (TE). The rest will be be value signings, maybe another guard if they don't land Iupati. I don't see them getting into a bidding war for Julius Thomas or Jordan Cameron based on their injury history. Virgil Green from Denver would be a value pick TE I'm curious about too. Of course they are adding a QB, probably two.

Keep Marrone, get a new OC.

I lived near Detroit for 6 years in the 80's - 90's and I am a fan of them second to the Bills of course. I have lived in NC since just before the Panthers were created, I'm not really a fan of them and don't follow them other than for fantasy football.
The best thing about the Panthers is that the Redksins are no longer the regional team. I couldn't stand watching them on TV all the damn time.
-
I think the NFL dropped the hammer on them last year for showing the phone calls before the picks were announced.
-
I had ESPN on the TV last year but was listening to Pat Kirwin, Jim Miller, Gil Brandt and Tim Ryan on SiriusXM via my laptop. I'll do that this year too. Too many ass clowns on NFLN and I can't listen to Kiper and McDouche McShay.
-
Saints are 2 Million under cap right now according to Sirius, they'd have to do some more deep cuts to be serious.
-
Congrats Andre! It's long, long overdue!
-
That came out of nowhere, never saw anything linking Schwartz to Buffalo.
-
Still a poor coach that many of us were upset with the hire of- and I don't think he's proven that wrong.
+1

Cleveland getting good value for Richardson is highly debatable. They traded a high 3rd round pick to move up one slot in the 1st to draft him last year. A year later they trade him for what will probably be a late 1st round pick in 2014. They got trade-raped pure and simple. Trading Spiller now would be worse...we'd not get good value for him value.

I wonder why Stevie and Jairus weren't named. Hmm, curious.
I don't think it's that surprising...Stevie is a bit of a diva and a clown. Jarius just showed up so a lot of the players didn't even meet him until last week or the week before.

Toomer is dreadful on the Bills.
Ross Tucker does a great job with most every team, but does very well with the Bills. As a former player here he can talk about his experiences first hand. Gil Brandt is also very quick to praise when Buffalo given the chance. Pat Kirwan does a great job, very under appreciated on the national scene. Vic Carruci is good, too. Rich Gannon and Jim Miller can give some great insight.
Agreed. Ross Tucker, Tim Ryan, Pat Kirwan and Jim Miller are all excellent and know what's going on with all the teams. Gannon I can't listen to anymore. Him and Adam Shein absolutely destroyed the Bills for trading away Lee Evans a few years ago. I can do without all the others too. Toomer is a tool.

"The Bills traded up to get him"
~ Any ESPN analyst.
Paul Burmeister on NFL Network said the same thing just before last weekends game at IND. Dumb asses, all of them.

I'm really excited about our receivers this year too. Don't forget Chris Gragg at TE, he could cause some problems with his 4.5 speed.

In Casserly's defense, he probably spends most of his day securing that rug on his head and doesn't have time to research
