  1. It is my understanding that unless you have a pre-arranged agreement with the bank to pay off the difference you can't do a short sale. The only way to qualify for a short sale without paying off the difference is if you have been missing payments and can prove financial hardship to the bank. I'm no expert on the subject, I just recall a conversation a few months ago and that's the way I interperted it.

  2. 11 so far just south of Richmond. Still snowing moderately here. This is our second 10 inch plus storm this year. I'm not sure we've had twenty inches of snow the last 10 years combined.

I under estimated this one, 10" and still coming down. Not too shabby for these parts.

  3. I'm in agreement. But we need so much. I would love to see McClain in a Bills uniform.

We also need OT and DL help as well. This not an either or conversation. We need to walk away from this draft with 4 starters and we need to add 3 more via free agency. Anyone that has watched the Bills knows we need QB, OL, DL and LB's.

Keep in mind a LB would really be needed if we go to a 3-4.

Nix and Modrak have to deliver.

I thought you were debating with yourself there for a second.....or two.

  4. The Rooney rule is named after Rooney who owns the Steelers. He is the one largely responsible for the rule hence the "Rooney Rule". Don't you remember when he was presented the Lombardi Trophy last year and he thanked President Obama for some odd reason after the Steelers won the Super Bowl.

    :flirt:

    Thanks for the heads up!

  5. I don't know if he was pinned from the get-go but he is somebody they were very interested in well before they hired him.

I haven't had the chance to meet Tomlin yet. Is he as good a dude as he seems to be?

Yes, a very smart and articulate guy, like I said before we're not buddy buddy by any stretch of the imagination we just happen to have several mutual friends and I've had the chance to chat with him here and there.

  6. Let me put it subtly as it would be inappropriate for me to say more than need be.

A couple weeks ago I went down to the Pburgh/GB game. I spent the afternoon walking around on the sidelines with a few kids that I brought because a very highly placed member of the Stillers front office gave me several field passes. This individual (whose name you have probably read in newspapers, etc) does not mind talking to people he trusts about how some things go, or even at times how things are going to go. If I tell you that Cowher's exit from Pittsburgh was not entirely his own idea, you can believe it. And if I tell you that the Rooney's knew what they were doing before Tomlin did, you can believe that, too. And if I was more chatty than I should be, I could tell you how the Stillers staff is going to look a little different than it currently does.

And that's all I got to say about that. /Forrest Gump

Simon I don't doubt the Cowher story one bit, however I grew up with Tomlin, and while I'm not going to tell you we were the best of friends we have several mutual friends that ran in the same circle. Him being hired by the Steelers was just as much of a surprise to him as it was to us. If the Rooneys had him pinned from the get go than fine, but it was surprise to him and from what I've heard other coaches around the league.
