  1. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...r-roundup_x.htm My apologies GG - I stand corrected.... G. Williams was another top-notch asst we decided to let cut his HC teeth with us.
  2. This is true. He refused to play in his last game as a Bill - @ Dolphins. Scumball move.
  3. Really like this kid also. He was a beast at Oklahoma. You also have to remember he's making a position change which only makes his play so far that much more impressive. Ellison is another should-be NFL backup. Harris will push for the starters spot next year. Think he's our steal of the draft.
  4. All good calls... Big Ted (another all-time fav) I think any of our current players could go to a team like the Pats and immediately be more productive - it's a lot easier when you're surrounded by much better talent around you. (Antowain, Sammy & Leonard)
  5. Antoine I'll give you guys - good call... solid NFL starter and pro-bowl alternate once since leaving... loved him! Clements - no way... cornerstone of one of the worst ranked pass defenses in the entire league. (which arguably makes him one of the most overpaid players at his position) '08 Stats - 63 tkls, 1 FF, 2 ints (T. McGee - 66 tkls, 3 ints... for a lot less $$) - although didn't have his best outing last night either.... Gandy?!? Coy Wire (aka John Wendling!?!) Give me a break with those two calls!!! You're streatching.
  6. I'm of the opinion that (assuming Schobel's just not the same since the injury... might still be "playing into game shape") that we have 3 STARTING D-lineman that are not NFL quality starting players. Don't get me wrong - I appreciate their attitude and hustle (typical high character guys for Jauron) but not guys you can count on winning 1-on-1 matchups against above average o-lineman. Can't squeeze blood from a turnip - asking them to do more may not be a matter of schemes or play calling.... They're just NOT THAT GOOD - average at best.
  7. http://www.nfl.com/preseason/story?id=0900...mp;confirm=true It has struck again.... Bills FA need to know their history before they go their separate ways with this franchise... it doesn't pay.... (see also: Sam Cowart) Name the last former Bills player to leave for bigtime FA money that made it elsewhere?? I can only think of one: Pat Williams BTW - If you try to lob me Jim Leonard, Justin Bannan I will get ill...
  8. Thanks SD - he's one of my OTHER top fav UL Cards/Bills. Badazz.
  9. Having watched this kid play for the Cards for the last 4 years in Louisville I can PROMISE you he kicked that schmucks arse! He is one of my fav players of all-time at the 'Ville. He is EXACTLY what we need and (barring injury) will man that spot for a very long time. On the other hand, Jauron's response in his post-practice interview makes me sick. This is exactly what this team needs - finally that practices at game speed. After all the unathletic, immobile, weak-arse interior linemen we have had the last 10 yrs (D. Preston) he will be a breath of fresh air! Get used to it Kelsay you f'in overpaid pansie!!!
  10. The best bet for hotels is to try just across the river in Newport, Covington or Florence, KY. This is also the best option for nightlife. They have developed an nice series of restuarants, bars and clubs. The area is called Newport on the Levy. There will be a strong contingency from Louisville coming up for that one. We would love to hook up with some other bigtime Bills Backers! I have two cousins from Orchard Park coming down as well. Awesome ballpark too! You're in for a treat!
  11. Wanted: VERY, VERY athletic QB (4.4 - 40 yd dash or better need apply) must be well insured and quick healer good tackling skills for possible special teams duty a plus forget Redman (I went to Louisville - glass chin) forget O'Donnell - he wouldn't last three plays; we need Major Harris (West Virginia) or Randel El! The guy has to be able to take a hit - many hits! Having attended that dibacle of a preseason game last night let me assure you of one thing - whomever we do sign he had better be real fast and illussive! This offensive is horrible! Remember folks - that was the Colts - one of the worst ranked front seven in all of football! Everyone of our guys looks out of shape, uncoordinated and slow! I'm not going to put too much credence into a preseason game but I'm telling you what - McNally has got his work cut out for him! It is only a matter of time before Bledsoe gets killed as well! I kept on complaining to my father that they never threw a deep ball - and then I realized - THEY CAN'T - he doesn't have enough time to take a five step drop, let alone a seven! We haven't thrown that many screens and passes to the TE in the flat since Kelly to Mezalaras (sp?) and Thurman! It's all he had time for! The one time we tried the deep ball late in the game with Brown to Evans - first of all he got creamed and secondly he has a rag arm! Evans did have the guy beat by 10 yards! Mike Williams has to be very close to 400 pds! Teague was blowing line calls all night. We've got some real work (and probably personnel changes) in front of us before we are competitive as a running football team! And, yes - I know it's only preseason - I'm only talking about the first team anyway! They looked sloppy and poorly coached. They were not ready to play. Defense - thank God we're strong there. Special Teams - ridiculous, absolutely awful. Kicking game - Moorman looked like the guy of old - kicking it out of bounds and then going to the sideline like a spoiled brat throwing his helmet and sitting by himself pouting! Lindell - why is he still around - he was o'fer from beyond 40 last year and he's picking right up where he left off this year. How does a professional kicker in the NFL kick two kickoffs out of bounds - IN A DOMED STADIUM! Hit me back. Pick me up please!
