1. Saw it on Friday myself....very well done....Vera Farmiga gets hotter by the day :D

I don't know what it is about Farminga...she looks like she should be plain, but she isn't.

I'm betting Wahlberg gets a best supporting Oscar nomination, too...he was great throughout the movie, but his final scene all but overshadowed every other scene in the movie. Jack Nicholson, too...I thought that was his best performance in a very long time.

Actually, everyone's performance was just about the best I've ever seen out of them...but Scorcese can get those kinds of performances out of his actors (witness Ray Liotta - an otherwise very pedestrian actor - in Goodfellas).

And finally then Bills get a decent drive start. I'm sure they'll turn it over, though...

  2. Ouch....Losman needs to get his throws out faster or the receivers are going to get killed.

Losman's been doing that all season - throwing high to his outlet receiver (most of the time McGahee) and hanging him out to dry. McGahee'll be sharing a hospital room with Chris Simms before the month's out, at this rate...

    Good sack by Kelsay.

  3. Yup, so true! We went into this thing that way. It was all going to be an easy job. The mob wanted a 'splendid little war' and got it. Let's face it, Saddam had personally flown all four of the planes on 9-11 and he had to be punished!

Yeah. It was just that easy.

People like you are why people like Mark Foley get elected.

But in all seriousness, staying accomplishes nothing.

How so? Details, man, details. You're either arguing that leaving improves things, or changes nothing...which means you're arguing that staying either further devolves things or changes nothing. So please, expound. Share with us your insight on how the different options affect Iraqi and US security...

  4. So I'm driving along today at around 5:00 after XC practice and I'm tuning into the one of my favorite ESPN Radio shows, "The Sports Bash".  While I'm listening they want to know who do you think is the second best team in the NFL behind the Bears.  I say either the Chargers or the Eagles.

    What do you think?

    801431

I say Eagles...but that's strictly because I haven't yet really seen the Chargers play.

  5. Actually it's a representative democracy.  Those we have elected to represent us formulate the policy.  To change the policy we must elect representatives who will change the policy, which may occur within the next month

Actually, it hardly matters. Bread and Circuses. Or am I the only one that noticed that New Orleans is "rebuilt" because they spent tens (if not hundreds) of millions getting the Superdome ready for MNF?

  6. That poll might be meaningful if foreign policy was like American Idol or Survivor.

What's the phone number to vote America off the island?

    801409

We live in a democracy. Foreign policy is like American Idol or Survivor, by definition.

The problem is that people generally put more thought into American Idol than they do foreign policy.

  7. :(  :P

Yeah, I figured that I had filled it up with the last message I sent, but had no way of telling you.

    801252

And I was just about to empty it...

...but since y'all are all jumpin' up my ass about it, you can just !@#$ing suffer. :D
