Can we get someone to make it slippery for him? give him a push or something?
Sure will be nice when we can talk about beating the Pats with talent.
-
I hate to admit but New England just might be the best football franchise ever. I can't think of team that has been this dominant for this long as them. I now they cheated but you still have to make the plays on the field and that they have done. 6 Superbowl appearances 4 wins, division champs almost every year for 15 yrs against a league built on parity is unprecedented .
I'm going to take an unpopular position here ... since you "now" that the Pat's cheated -- can you explain how they did that? And if ball inflation is such a big deal, why has Brady thrown 20 TDS with one fluky pick with balls that are probably measured every 10 mins? Spygate didn't make a difference, and neither did the ball inflation. The Pats just have a brilliant coach WHO KNOWS THE RULES and COACHES HIS PLAYERS TO KNOW THE RULES. Look at the brilliant eligibility plays last playoffs as an example.
Rather than jealous fans repeatedly trashing this franchise, how about striving to be more like them? They are a model franchise. So stop with the "cheating" stuff ... it just makes you look like a sore loser.
Just build a better team. That's it.

You seriously expected better with Rex? Really?
Rex talks a lot of crap and then gets it all shoved back down his throat. He's entertaining as hell, but not exactly what anyone would consider to be successful. I would rather have had the Bills take a shot on someone like Dan Quinn who might not have head coaching experience than this clown.

1. The vaunted defense ... isn't all that vaunted.
2. The loudmouth coach that embarrassed the Jets is now embarrassing us. I hate to say it, but look at how the Pats operate. They don't talk trash, are always respectful of their opponent (at least to the media). Wow, Rex may have won the trash talk war, but he got his butt kicked.
3. Nice missed PAT. That actually cost me a fantasy football game this week.
4. Guys playing with too much emotion. I like them being on the edge, but that was pretty bad.
5. The only reason to yell "We want Brady" is when you want him playing for your team. They guy owns us.

Pats 31, Bills* 7

@RapSheet: Asked about which gauge Walt Anderson used, Ted Wells associate Lorin Reisner said it doesnt matter. Says it doesnt change the science.
Just because someone says something doesn't make it true ... Scientists disagree...
So I'm guessing that Roger Goodell is going to have to start subscribing to Dollar Shave Club now, huh?
No more freebies from Kraft.

As a Bills fan, this scares me. They have VERY LITTLE evidence that Brady did anything wrong -- they IGNORED the fact that the ref thought he had used the gauge that would have shown little, if any, deflation. And since when does someone have to turn over a phone to prove innocence?
We might not like the Pats, but this should scare EVERY NFL FAN. It was a witch hunt.
They should now go after Aaron Rodgers for over-inflating balls. Suspend him. Have the teams that warmed the balls forfeit draft picks.
Pathetic.
And the sad thing is that Jimmy G is probably going to win 2 or 3 of the games he starts, and then the Pats are going to go 12-0 and win the SB again.
The Bills are 2-3 years away from this sort of thing helping them.
-
The thing that really sucks is that the Pats will still beat us even with Jimmy G...
The league just gave them a reason to go 19-0.
-
So wait .. the K ball was never actually in play? Why is this even a story?
I wish that you guys would worry more about the Bills getting better than trying to explain away another team's success.
LETS GO BILLS!
-
Because....
I bet that Rex has his sights on Aaron Hernandez too...
Because....
... Rex is a going to put together a crappy team that won't have any chemistry. He's just asking for trouble here.

Yeah, like Giselle would want to live in Orchard Park ... NOT!
-
Pats 35, Colts 10 (Luck gets nervous, throws a few picks)
Green Bay 17, Seattle 14.
-
Did you guys get a free bowl of soup with that carpet?
-
a lot of "good" teams don't win the SB. Again .... how many other "good" teams have to rely of trickery year in and year out?
How many teams also relied on the Refs creating rules to help them win?
Not many.
Um, pretty much all teams rely on trickery. So I guess defenses shouldn't move or shift. A QB shouldn't use a hard count. The entire game is based on misdirection and trying to hide what you are trying to do!
Just wondering -- how have the Pats "relied on the Refs creating rules to help them win?" The tuck rule was changed after that season ... What else you got? And the videotaping rule was changed after they were "caught"? Recall they lost a 1st round draft pick AND STILL CONTINUED TO WIN!!!
Game, set, match.
Losing sucks, but don't be so jealous of a successful organization.
I wish the Bills were like the Pats. Would be nice to see them actually win a meaningful game every once in a while.
Over the years NE has found a lot of loop holes. some to the point the league has to change a rule or modify it. And Tom Brady is right read the rule book! But he did not say find loop holes in the rules. and what is sad is they move on not because there a great team as everyone of there fans an most of the media would lead you to believe. They got outplayed an they knew it!! Most anybody can win on a uneven playing field. Watch out Colts I don't think they have played all there cards yet!!! I think NE falls nothing short of finding new ways to use rule book against you.. I hate NE always have!! I am hoping Sexy Rexy reads the rule book an then flat beats them next year. I also wonder if they don't make SB if there might be a house cleaning in NE Just a thought.
House cleaning? Really? That makes a lot of sense.
Wishful thinking?

I can't respect a team that cheats to the extent the league has to burn evidence to keep their dynasty in tact. I can't respect a head coach that consistently moves the goal posts of ethics to better suit his personal needs -- in both football and his personal life. I can't respect a team that is led by Brady, who might be the best QB ever to play the game but is one of the worst winners and worst losers in the history of sports.
This isn't about the Bills. It's about the *pats. And since they got busted cheating, they haven't won. And the success they've had has been largely due to playing in a piss poor AFC East for a decade and Brady.
Both of those things are about to be over.
I think I've got it ... so "winning" to you means that you have to win a SB. Not win the AFC East 6 years in a row. Or consistently go to the AFC championship game. Or have a perfect season lost based on a couple of fluke plays?
So the Bills SB teams weren't any good. ... Marino wasn't any good. Nope. They didn't win a SB.
It is amazing what losing has done to Bills Fans.
-
Yup. That's why they haven't won a ring since they got caught.
Sure. Take your meds, man. I'm a Bills fan, but I respect the way the Pats play. And win.
So I guess Jim Kelly was no good either. He didn't win a SB, did he?
-
and so was the Music City Miracle. coaching genius
It actually was. They counted on the Bills to be undisciplined, drew them to one side of the field, and then the Bills fell apart. Great coaching.
The Bills could have avoided that by kicking deep or out of bounds, but the Flutie curse was in full force at that point.
-
100%
No titles since Spy Gate. They're the beneficiaries of a weak division (over their run) and Bellicheat continually moving the goalposts of football ethics to suit his team. I can't wait to watch the Seahawks smoke the *pats in a few weeks... If Luck doesn't do the job beforehand.
!@#$ the *pats. Their time is over.
Only 2 Superbowl appearances, both of which they would have won but for freak plays. And 18 wins in a season. Maybe if the Bills could do anything right, they would have made the playoffs since "spygate."
Man up, be a fan. Stop whining. They are just a better team. The Bills need to get better.
-
Didn't see the game, but yes I would. Much like the WC (which it may have been) is a gimmick
if you have to resort to trickery...... then you must have been lacking
simply stated.
No matter who the team is
I guess since you didn't see the game, you must really know what you're taking about.
It was genius coaching, plain and simple. The Pats have run that quick pass to the WR hundreds of times ... Edelman made it look like he was going to run, pulled up, and launched a strike. That's not trickery -- that's just great coaching.
Come on, Bills Fans, this is ridiculous. The Bills should learn something from the Pats here. I'm a huge Bills fan -- but Harrison knocks down one ball, and Welker halls in another pass, Brady would be 5-0 in Superbowls. The videotaping had nothing to do with their success. Of course, if you want to believe that it did to make you feel better about the Bills, then go right ahead.
-
agreed. i wish our coaches were that smart. hopefully they are now.
Ummm.. The new coach is Rex, so they aren't.
Looking at another 5 years of no playoffs!
-
booo hiss
I want the Putrids to choke and burn in a big time loss to the Ravens!!!!
ummm Aaron Hernandez
Hernandez is accused of killing Odin Lloyd, a 27-year-old semiprofessional football player from Boston who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee. Lloyd was found shot to death June 17, 2013, in an industrial park near Hernandez's home in North Attleborough.
Oh yeah. Forgot about him ... but I guess he won't have a career on ESPN ...

I, for one, want the Pats to win on Saturday -- then they won't get as high of a draft choice next season.
Plus, even though the Pats may have cheated, they still haven't murdered anyone or beat their fiancées on an elevator. They just have Gronk "visiting" adult film stars...
-
This was a winning season in name only. No way the Bills would have gone to Foxboro and won if the Pats had a reason to play.
And, although they beat some quality opponents, but then fell flat on their faces in games they should have won (KC and Oakland).

I'm surprised I don't see someone on this forum blaming the Pats for this ...
