Flying rules!!
I love to fly but didn't used to. I used to have this problem with the total loss of control over ones destiny when in an airplane. You know, the plumitting to earth and not being able to do anything. Then some strange noise which I'm sure is the wing/tail/nose falling off, etc, etc would happen and really freak me out.
Well, I took a drastic step to end my fears. I decided to learn about planes, and flying. I actually learned how to fly!!!!
You can take a first lesson for less than $100 and if you are confident and seem to get it, the instructor will let you do all the flying. Now I have a much better understanding of how planes work, and when the young hottie next to me on a flight is freaking out because there is one of those strange noises, I can calmly say, nothing to worry about, it just the flaps, landing gear, (wing falling off)), etc.
Take a flying lesson, and lose some fear of flying.
I don't travel that far that often, but I'll keep it in mind.

To drink or not to drink? Alcohol makes me hyper so that won't work.
Yeah, I'm calling the doc and seeing if I can get some pills. Man, I'd much rather drive. It's only 6-7 hours but work won't let me....

I haven't flown in seven years but have to fly to NJ in two weeks for a conference. My palms are sweating just typing this, it's not so much the flying, it's the cramped space. I get it in elevators and when I'm around a ton of people in cramped quarters too.
I'm curious if anyone else here gets these irrational fears and if so what do you do about it if you are forced to fly? Will the doctor prescribe anything?

I dressed up with the kids and went out with them last night, also dressed up at work. Didn't go out in the car with them we walked, but it was in a development, why not when you can capitalize?
We cooked hot dogs on the grill had the fam over...all in all it's great fun.
I think you'll appricate it more when you have babies stojan.

Drew gets an outlet reciever and his numbers go up every time. IE Larry Centers.
Now he's got Witten who is second on the team in receptions and probably will be a probowl TE with the help of Drew.
I'd much rather be in the Cowboys shoes than ours.
Think Drew is missing Buffalo?

10. I'm outta here. I've gotta be the supportive spouse tonight in Pittsburgh as Psycho Ward 86 and I will be in attendance when the Steelers meet (and, hopefully, defeat) the Ravens tonight on MNF. We'll be just 4 rows behind the Ravens bench; I'll try not to throw anything @ them. See ya when they free ya!

I thought we were taking a step ahead by having a rookie at QB to start the season? Isn't that what we were told?
If we are making so many "steps ahead" then why the hell are we 3-5 with Holcomb behind center.

Of recent vintage. Palmer, Eli, Rothlisberger, Pennington.

The best part was Suzy Kolber trying to interview Bruschi after the game and him just running right past her.

We're 3-5. I really don't care how many yards he racks up until we can beat someone worth a damn.
And 3 of 4 of those backs have only played 7 games.

My key is those movies that keep me thinking afterwards and cause more fright
1. The Ring...I refuse to watch the ring 2. It scared the crap out of me.
2. Dawn of the Dead..yeah, it couldn't happen...I think...but don't waste time on Land of the Dead. It was horrible.

You know there is going to be a problem when no one even discusses the Bills until the opening coin toss 10 minutes in to the telecast.
Then they start out the opening play by saying "everyone is rooting for Bruschi tonight even the Bills." Please someone freaking gag me. Then he misses the tackle in the backfield on Parrish and it was "Oh My Goodness!!! Did you see that!!! Bruschi is the best freaking LB ever!!!" So what if he blew the tackle!!!
It was disgusting. And if I was Tedy I'd be embarassed.

And that god awful Doug FLutie that lead us to the best quarterbacking and entertaining football weve seen in quite some time.........u didnt even aprreciate that??
only reason that happened was because we played a load of crappy teams in a row. This team is a joke.
