http://www.buffalobills.com/multimedia/ind...swmext%3D%2Easx
of course he is. since i'm the King of Chroise, why would he not lurk in here? who better to teach him than me?

Joini the Chroise at will...
how many inches of dust was on this thread before you bumped it?

If one wants to be more accurate (which some folks do not because they simply cherry pick the fact(s) which support their point) then a players market value is determined not only by his ability as a player, but also the amount of competition out there at their spot.
JP actually has more leverage than Johnson right now because the conventional wisdom is that this is an incredibly deep draft in terms of WR talent which makes it critical in terms of leverage for Johnson to make some noise right now before his market position gets diminished even further by the drafting of several potential competitors.
JP on the other hand is a former NFL starting QB with a middlin level of production overall but a clear record as a failed starter, but his coaches made a number of definite errors in his development which would make it silly for other teams to simply declare him done.
JP need do nothing more but keep his nose clean and he likely will stand to cash in quite well when FA occurs.
Many folks seem to make the mistake of equating salary level to ability as player (they are not the same thing at all though obviously they are strongly related0. They also seem to make the mistake of assuming that a player has some static level of ability which can be assessed when actually the same player can be horrible in a bad situation (the wrong offense for him, bad history, early in his career, etc.) but also be good or very good in the right situation.
I think JP is done as a Bill as he declared the Jax game make or break for him and pretty much all he agree he broke. However, I still think he is a young talented player with some clear deficits who could easily produce much better in a different situation.
I think the folks who simply write him off as a bad player who will fail everywhere have simply not made a compelling case for this view even though I would agree with them that he is done as a Bill.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! it couldn't be any more accurate than that. there was no cherry picking anything.
Losman has more leverage NOW because he did what he HAD to do. report to the team and keep his mouth shut. had he chose to not show up, other teams would have considered him done because they would detect it as an attitude problem.
had it been ONE coach and ONE offensive coordinator, i could possibly agree with your developmental error comment. but when it's becomes more than one, they obviously see something that you don't. it was obvious that he regressed, last year, from the year before.
i'm sure that a couple of teams may be interested.
John Matuszak, Steve Largent, Frank Lewis, Jim Plunkett, and many others are examples of that.
it's possible.
get back to me when he becomes the next Rob Johnson.
-
That is a great post. Very well said. JP needs all the practice he can get.
it wasn't a post to bash him either. i'm sure that some of the Losman fans took it that way though.
-
i hate them both equally.

I bet you can remember 2-14 years. Many 2-14 years. I can't even remember how many(nor want to)- but we were 2-14 a lot. It happened in the early 80's.
we even had a 1-13 season in the 70's.
-
Because a large group of disgruntled JP Losman fan boys, need their own little corner to sub consciously mourn the unfortunate failure, of their hero?
DING!!!!! DING!!!!!! DING!!!!!!!! we have a winner.
-
my bad commented before i watched the video
we understand. that's the Losman fan coming out of you. let it go, bro, let it go.

This is the First Day of Trent. Will He rest on the Seventh Day?
does Losman carrying a clipboard on the Seventh Day qualify as resting?
-
Everyone says Trent can throw the ball over them there mountains, but no one has seen it.
i never said that so stop exaggerating.

I'd rather just join you at the bareven better. you buy the beers, we'll talk about Losman, and then get on the subject of Hamdan.
i take that back. you aren't even of age to drink. it looks like "pepsi" for you, 752. (pun intended)
-
opponents record
Losman 72-56
Trent 60-68
keep those excuses coming........
-
I'd rather just join you at the bar
even better. you buy the beers, we'll talk about Losman, and then get on the subject of Hamdan.
-
I wonder, with JP bouncing every one of his passes, how he ever managed to complete 63% in a season?
i wonder if the Bills can win with Losman at QB, considering they won more when they had a rookie starting.
Facts kill his argument cant we mess with him some more?argue that fact.
-
He is in attendance at the first day of workouts. Look at all the !@#$s out there who are unhappy with their situation and use the media to bargain and leverage their no-shows as a badge of some display of courage. JP is not divisive..he is a team guy. In my mind this only enhances his trade value if that's the route we go and it shows me that he will be okay if we keep him.
We can trash him all we want for his play on the field...but he constantly shows me he is a mature, team-oriented player...I am glad he is still a Bill.
From Chris Brown:
LOSMAN IN ATTENDANCE: Buffalobills.com confirmed that QB J.P. Losman was in the building for the start of Buffalo's offseason program and did attend position meetings.
---
that's only because he's not good enough to hold out. when he starts establishing himself like Chad Johnson, etc... then he has some kind of leverage to do so. the last i saw, he's still under contract with the Bills so he has no choice. he NEEDS the practice anyways since he couldn't beat out a rookie last year. he just needs to keep his mouth shut, practice, and hope that he can perform well to beat out a second year player.
-
Nah, I didn't even know that he was feeling me like that, it kinda weirded me out when he did tell me. Trust me, when I'm flirting w/ a guy he will DEFINATELY know it!
on the flipside, younger guys can also be immature about things like that too. i don't know both of your ages but that could be a possibility as well.

gas prices are ridiculous. i'm glad that work isn't too far of a drive. (18 miles roundtrip) last week i filled up at $3.21 a gallon. the following day, that same place went to $3.29 a gallon.

OK everyone, what do you all think about this one? 1 of my best friends is a guy & we have been friends since high school back in the day. He's a great guy, but a few years ago he suggested that we become more than friends & I declined because I wasn't feeling dude like that plus he's like a brother 2 me. Needless to say, he didn't agree & we ended up having a big argument about it & not speaking for years. Fast forward to the present, we talked & got everything out in the open & now we are cool, but our friendship is different & kinda distant now. What should I do? I value our friendship, but I don't want him getting the wrong idea.there's no attraction on my part.
unfortunately, we're only getting your side of the story. i'm sure that there's a lot of things left out as to why he feels this way. for all we know, you could have been leading him on. kind of like the jackass chasing the carrot, while you're the one dangling it front of him, and he's pulling the cart with you in it.
