First, if you are on an auto-renewal plan through Youtube TV or Youtube, cancel that autorenewal. It won't let you register for the discount if you are in an autorenewal program.
Next you have to create an ID.me account using the same email address you use for YouTube. (I had an existing account from sometime in the past...I can't remember how long it took to set up, but probably wasn't too hard because I would have gotten annoyed and quit if it was complicated, LOL.
Then you link that new ID.me account to the VA website. There is an icon on the ID.me website which is used to start the process of linking the account to the VA. There are link three or four steps in total including uploading photos of your ID (I used my passport card). This took about 5 minutes. As far as I know, I didn't have an account at the VA website before today.
Once that is done, use drop down menu on the home page of ID.me under the section labeled "save money" and select "all discounts". Use the search feature to look for Sunday Ticket and choose either military, teacher, EMT, etc.
For whichever you select there will be a link that connects you back to YouTube where you can by Sunday Ticket for $198 or $240 depending on if you want Redzone channel or not.
The whole process took less than 15 minutes.
Let me know if that works and thanks for your service!
Great info for how to get verified on Id.me. The only thing I’ll add is that you don’t necessarily have to use the same email for YouTube after you click through from Id.me. My wife was verified as a medical professional and once I went through their link, I was able to login to my YouTube account to finalize the purchase with the discount. YMMV -

Sorry for a question that may have addressed 50 pages ago. What about the grass? Does grass grow in December with average temps in the 30s and a gray sky. I know about the heat coils but will those make the grass grow? I think not. At Lambeau they mix in synthetic fibers. Will the Bills do the same?
The system will incorporate sub-air technology (airflow beneath the field), advanced irrigation, wireless temperature and humidity control, hydronic heating, and grow lights — all designed to enable grass to thrive regardless of the weather. The Bills’ new home will be only the second NFL stadium to feature such an advanced year-round grass growth system.
Good video here:-

Is this their standing promotion or is this time limited?
The chart I updated in the OP contains all their current standing rates and promotions. Not aware of any expiration.

I was able to get the medical provider discount through my wife who is a physician. Once she was verified via the id.me website, and we clicked through to the discount offer page, I was able to login to my youtube account and get the ST subscription in my name. So find anyone that qualifies for the special category discounts. You can still get the sub in your name if they're willing. It's a huge discount - a package that would've otherwise been $522, I got for $240.

Was this posted yet? I didn't see it.
NFL and TV networks appeal court ruling, insist they have the right to gouge people. 🙄
Hadn’t seen this. So basically they’re saying “yes, we’re in violation of antitrust laws, but if we complied it would impact profits” 🤣🤣🤣

When I signed up with the military/etc. Red Zone option last week, it gave me the option to pay $20/12 months or the whole $240.
Yes you can pay any of the full season options in monthly installments.
The month to month option (non full season) is if you only want to purchase one or two months of the season individually. -
Some new developments from YouTube - mainly discounts for new subscribers, military, first responders, health care workers, and teachers. They also announced month to month pricing.

So investments...
Let's say I get a pair of tickets for the new stadium with the intention of going to three games a year, and selling the other 5-6 games. For those three years, I go to the games I want to, and use the profits from sales pay the ticket price for those games, and collect the extra profits pay off the PSL fee I incurred.
Then after three years I sell the PSL rights to someone else who pays 25% more then what I paid (which is now all profit as I used sales of seats to pay off the PSLs)
I've watched bills games for free for three years, and made good coin selling off the psl's. Sounds like an investment with added benifits to me.
And for those who say i'll just go to 2-3 games a year - FACE VALUE price on ticketmaster for the worst seat in the house for the KC game is $356.00.
I think it's a pretty decent investment as a bills fan.
You lost me at selling PSL at a 25% markup….😂-

I think $500 is a possibility. I believe both Allegiant in LV and US Bank in Minny went down to $500. SoFi went to $1000.

I thought I had to have YTTV?... And to boot they bumped that up to 82 bucks a month last year! I need to look into this for sure. I almost never use YTTV...
Maybe the confusion is that you still use the YTTV app with the standalone but you don’t have to have their tv service. It’s through what they call YouTube TV Prime Channels which is a separate service form their regular tv offering.

I get the point and yes it has gotten ridiculous, but slightly misleading. You don’t need YTTV sub to get Sunday Ticket. They offer it standalone.

From Buffalo News front page today:
Bills on Pace to Sell Out PSL’s for New StadiumThe Buffalo Bills say the pace of personal seat license sales has picked up dramatically with the lower price points in the first level and then more recently, in the upper level.
But will this surge in sales be enough to get every seat sold and every PSL under contract before the new $2.2 billion stadium opens for the 2026 season?
That is likely to happen by early next year if the pace of sales continues as it has for the past several months. At that rate, the Bills may be able to sell around 9,000 PSLs during the latest quarter, from April through June.

For a sec I thought you meant they remade the 1994 Sirens with Elle McPherson and Portia DeRossi. I presume this one has way less skin

It’s pretty simple to me. Diggs is the master of manipulating teams by posing himself as a “problem child” so that he can move on to his next payday. It allows him to get out of contracts, force trades and add bank. It’s all very calculated.

Thanks for the walk down memory lane. I was a Sr in high school. Really frustrating season capped by the Ronnie Harmon drop and Jim Kelly interception in the last minute loss to the Browns. Definitely on the list of Billsy heartbreakers.

I had the NFL ST last year. The one feature I absolutely missed from the Directv Sunday Ticket, was the ability to record the game (e.g.. start recording at 1pm kickoff) and if I was busy with something else, not rush to the TV, but sit down to watch around 2pm. Between commercials and halftime crap, I was usually caught up by the time the game ended.
I just saved 45 min - hour of my weekend!
But, with the Youtube Sunday Ticket, I didn't have that function. Their solution was clips for what they determined were highlights to catchup, but not the actual broadcast in which I could FF through ads.
Is the functionality I miss from Directv available with the Youtube subscription and DVR option?
This function is absolutely available without a YTTV subscription. You have to use the YTTV App which will allow you to record the games and watch from the beginning even if the game is still going on.
Can I record games to watch later?
Yes. When you sign up for NFL Sunday Ticket, you get access to record and watch games with the DVR feature in the YouTube TV app, even when you purchase the NFL Sunday Ticket Primetime Channel.
You get unlimited digital video recording (DVR) storage on YouTube TV. To record games, add teams and the NFL to your YouTube TV Library. Adding the NFL to your Library will record current and future airings of NFL games available to you. Recordings are automatically added to your YouTube TV Library. To watch your recordings, open the YouTube TV app on your TV, mobile device, or on tv.youtube.com from a computer. Recordings aren't stored on your device, so they won’t take up any device memory, but you do need to have an internet connection to watch them.

I believe I saw the $199 offer last year promoted by this site, but it was midway through the season...but I could be wrong, which is often the case...
May have also seen the discount through https://id.me/
Here was last year's link for military, veterans, first responders, teachers, and nurses. Looks like it was offered a couple weeks into the season.

My son finished classes in December. Graduates in a few weeks. So I just jumped on the student site. Got the 119 price. Heck they didn't even ask for a student email. Your mileage may vary...
Awesome. I'm assuming you used his name and school credentials. I have 2 nephews in college and would do this in a heartbeat if we didn't need multiple streams going at once in the house.

@nucci has been on the phone with YouTube all day looking for a deal...but his customer service rep just got called away to join the Indian army in their looming war with Pakistan, so he'll be on hold awhile...
Seriously, anyone know how the student option works? You just need to sign into their YouTube account on Sundays?
Yeah, you'd login on their account but one major caveat: Access limited to one device at a time. Family sharing not included.

I usually see one of these threads every year to discuss pricing and deals, so thought I'd start it up. Got the standalone ST + RedZone the last 2 years and worth the cost but starting to get steep.
Edit 6/16 - Some new discounts announced for new subscribers as well as military, 1st responders, healthcare workers, and teachers. I updated my post with a summary of the different pricing tiers:
My wife is a doc so I got the ST + RedZone for $240, which is more than half off. Hope this helps some of you.

Correct. Pretty sure the student rate is the only one that has the one login/one stream at a time restriction.
