1. I refuse to lump players like M. Williams, Reed, Milloy and Bledsoe in here...at the time that said players were acquired I don't think many Bills fans disagreed.

It doesn't matter what the fans think about the players that are drafted/brought in via free agency. Tom Donahoe has to see the talent and work ethic in the players he brings in. It's his job to bring in capable players, not players that the fans like or dislike.

Mike Williams is a bust, thats TD's fault. Josh Reed is WR with stonehands, TD's fault. Milloy is older and slower, TD has to know that when he signs him.

It's not the fan's job to evaluate the talent before it is brought in, it's TD's. But it is the fan's job to voice displeasre when the talent that is brought in just plain sucks. What makes everything much worse is the way this team just gives up! It is terrible, Gregg Williams was fired because of lack of mental toughness in his teams, it hasn't gotten any better, maybe it's not the coaches, maybe it goes all the way to the person who evaluates and picks the players. TD has to go, he is the reason this organization is a friggin' mess!

  2. I think I've figured it out!!!

We're doing this so that Brees will have a chance to overtake Bledsoe in qb efficiency,  thereby saving TD and company some major embarrassment!

Yeah, and then the Chargers will have to get rid of Philip Rivers and TD will be there to take him!!

    TD is so smart!!!!

  3. Nobody could have known that our D would go from being arguably the league's best to the crapfest they've become is year. And don't talk to me about Pat Williams, either.....Jerry Gray does not have this defense prepared.....these players are not motivated. As much as I hate the fukker, I guarantee if you brought Jimmy Johnson in here this team would be playing much differently. Playing at an all pro level one week and then like high schoolers the next is not a talent issue.

When exactly did this defense play at an all-pro level?

  4. I think he'll be let go this year.  But you're right,  TD won't hire him since he can't contol him,  and it will take a major fiasco the rest of the way for RW to eat both TD & MM's contracts...

We're off to a good start, tho.

I hope to God Ralph is embarassed by this crap so somthing gets done

  5. What is wrong with you people?

He does point out a lot of truths about this Buffalo Bills organization.

Why must anyone who says one bad thing about this organization be branded an a-hole?

It's not just Sully, it's anyone that speaks negative of the Bills on this board.

    So I know i'm an a-hole but:

This team sucks, from the top down. The President/GM is an arrogant joke. This coaching staff sucks. It's pitiful, the Bills are spinning their wheels, this team is not going anywhere until things change, namely getting rid of Donahoe (it did wonders in Pittsburgh)

Kelly Holcomb blamed his offensive line for the Bills woes all season.

"We had some protection problems. Their defensive line put some pressure on us. I don't think I've ever been hit so much. Even after the play was over, I was getting hit.'' While he's speaking the truth, it's not a great idea for a QB to abuse his O-line publicly.

Good!! It is about time someone stepped up and said the the offensive line sucks a**!

He will probably be disciplined, because no one but MM/TD are allowed to publicly call out a player.

  7. Hold on, gentlemen.  I completely agree that TD must go, and frankly, I won't be unhappy if he takes Mularkey with him.  However, I can't accept Ralph-bashing.  He wants to WIN, not make money.  That's why he hired TD -- the person everyone said was the best football man available -- and stepped back to let him run the football operations.  Ralph has ponied up huge $$ for Spikes, M. Williams, Milloy, etc.  There is no cheapskate issue here.

Let's remember that the man could have sold this team anytime he wanted for a cool $750 million or more.  Instead he has given the people of Buffalo an NFL team for as long as he is with us.  There aren't many people who would have done the same.

As to the real issue:  TD must go.  He is accountable for putting together this pathetic, no-heart, soft bunch of losers.  I look at this team and see no hope for the future.  As lousy as it is, the D is getting old in a hurry, which means it's going to need a few new starters ASAP.  The O-line is pretty weak as well.  We have a big zero at QB, with no reason to think that a real QB will emerge from either JP or Holcomb.

There are no leaders on either the O-line or the D-line.  Mike Williams is average at pass protection, way overpaid and gets hurt every year.  Sam Adams is way overweight, so he needs a lot of rest, and throws too many tantrums to be a leader.  Schobel, Kelsay and Denney simply aren't good enough players to have credibility as leaders.

Donahoe has assembled a team that is weak on both lines, has lousy quarterbacking and questionable coaching (once again, McGahee didn't get the ball nearly enough yesterday).  THIS TEAM HAS NO HEART!!!  How many times during Donahoe's time here have the bills gotten waxed on the road at a pivotal moment in the season?

    TD must go.

    484502

I see he spared no expense in hiring his last few head coaches!

  8. There's only one problem with TD leaving, it's not gonna happen anytime soon because he has Ralph brainwashed and Ralph doesn't know what the hell's going on anymore.

    483924

The only way Ralphie will get rid of his boy TD, is when TD's terrible performance as GM starts effecting Ralph's wallet.

When the fans stop buying into all the crap we are being sold, and stop filling the seats at Ralph Wilson Stadium, TD will be gone.

    It's all about Ralph's money.............

  9. Well, our D is pretty good, though, so we can let that be less of a priority don't you thinik? I bet TD could easily replace three starters on our Oline between the draft and FA. I think if we can just get a good solid center in there, that would make a world of difference. Our line is just too weak up the middle.

    461969

I doubt TD can replace any starters via the draft. Other than McGahee he hasn't drafted all that well.
