The NFL did no research on Corinthians

Pretty hilarious that a multi-billion dollar corporation overlooks something like this

💯 talk to someone from the city for ten minutes and you would get that info.

Roger Dodger doubles down and chooses 2 green teams so no one could be targeted-genius level planning and execution right there.

In reality and all kidding aside I doubt if people would target NFL fans the week leading up to a game based on jersey color- easy targets and sticking out like sore thumbs maybe but not jersey color.

If there was a soccer exhibition in Chicago I doubt if people would target Fiorentina fans because their jerseys are the same color as the Vikings.

    Punter, obvs...

You mean holder since we don't plan on punting more than once a game this year.

Whoever is the best holder will win the job.

    On paper and experience certainly....

McD is a DB savant... We could start cam lewis at FS and I wouldn't be in a super panic mode

I trust whoever gets the majority of reps in training camp and PS to play well... It's certainly going to be interesting without poyer and Hyde back there

Remember we had old, injured and slow poyer and hyde last year- not all pro po and all world  Hyde from 3 years ago.

I don't expect the safety play to drop off and could be a slight improvement as long as Rapp stops taking out our own players and stops getting late hit calls. Dude has to reel it back a smidge.

I can't believe, this journeyman punter with a noodle leg , for NFL standards

    Gets this much attention

Holding is one of the most overblown aspects that this board cares about lol

Yeah it's important but the skill to learn it is vastly overrated and people here think it's challenging...

People said Corey b sucked at holding... I went through every single hold over his multiple years here and he didn't have laces in more than eight times... Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of holds eight times laces were in...

I haven't gone through Sam Martin's.. but I can guarantee you he did not have laces in more than a few times... And it doesn't even impact the kick much

It messes up the kicker's mind... Which shows they are the feeble one

Corey b went to the browns and their kicker says he's the best holder he ever had.. but he was trash according to this board

See how easy it is to learn to hold? You can go from trash to the best a kickers ever had fairly quick

Any athlete can learn the skill and it's not tough... There's never been a punter who is cut because of his holding skills LOL they cut you for shanking 12-yard punts

There is more than just laces out. Is it consistently on the correct spot( not in front of the spot or back of the or left or eight of it) , at the correct time, with the correct front to back lean and side to side angle.

Bj went to green bay before Cleveland and their kicker sucked eggs that year he was there.

It is much more than laces out.

Wow they've got to feel good about the guy they brought in, as much as Haack did worry me having some early struggles last season he pulled it together down the stretch mostly. So for him to be out this early they have to be pretty comfortable rolling with the replacement over him.

Actually Martin has been our punter whoops.

Martin can't hold. I still believe much of our field goal issues last year were snap, catch, put down, hold, kick issues and not just Bass sucking.

    He will not be better

He took us from terrible to very good.

I don't think he is the guy to take us from very good to World Champs.

He freezes and gets too scared/conservative in big moments.

I hope he lets Bobby Babich run the D and call plays without micromanaging so McDermott can focus on head coach decisions: strategy/changes in all 3 phases, timeouts, challenges etc.

I don't think he will be able to stay away from meddling with the play calling and it will cost us. I hope he proves me wrong.

My bigger issue is the fact that we beat them in the season every single year. But when it comes to the playoffs we can’t do it. Not at home. Not at KC. What’s the reason for that? It’s because McDermott has his balls removed the minute the regular season ends. And he coaches not to lose instead of to win. It’s infuriating to me. I know he can do it. But he continues to prove that when it matters most he becomes too conservative and won’t take chances. And the ones that he does are the most ridiculous ones I ever saw in my life. Like Hamlin running a fake punt on 4th down. This tells me that the NFL isn’t scripted, because if it was, we would have won on the thought that Hamlin would be the hero, alone.

If receivers are the new running backs, three wouldn’t have been selected in the top 9 picks of the draft.

What folks are doing is drafting them on a rookie contract so they can let them walk b3fore their salary impact ts the cap.

That has been the RB playbook and will be the WR playbook for smart teams. Rinse and repeat every 3-5 years

Pretty soon fans are going to need subscriptions to 18 different streaming services in order to watch an entire season.

We have everything except the premium levels of YouTube  because of different soccer leagues etc.

We went away from DirecTV to save money and now we are 3/4 of the way back with all the different services.

I don't like the Netflix games........ because it gives who ever is hosting Christmas for my family way too much control over if the games are on

Maybe they don't have a subscription, maybe they don't remember the password, maybe the Internet is down, maybe their Internet sucks and can't stream and play video games at the same time

    I don't like it

Is anyone else having trouble logging into your Athletic subscription?  My email/password don't work, and the system does not send me a link to update my password.  I renewed my subscription for a year, last September.  And there doesn't seem to be any way to get help without logging in first.

mine keeps trying to send me to the NY Times log In when i see a linked story. i just go right to The Athletic App and log in from there.

i think the bills are setting up the team to be  complimentry wr based.    You dont have one star..you have multiple pieces that

are good at doing their job and your average wr abilty on the field rates as high as other teams with a clear one.

i think 2nd part of the season showed they said..we can do this without force feeding a numero uno receiver.

that being said i think Shakir should def flourish and they should game plan around him.

I see a lot of match-up changes week to week in the game plan targeting the weakness in the defense. It won't be Diggs gets his 12 every week,  Gabe gets 8 etc.

One week it's heavy Shakir, the next it's Kincaid, the next Cook depending on what the defense is.

Seriously, what kind of perspective is this? There's nothing complex about it. There's no problem being searched for. It's simply a moderator who runs the site trying to initiate something that he thinks would be enjoyable for other Bills fans. Why would you be "searching" for a reason to be against it?

The board is fine the way it is. Posts move up, posts move down. If a topic is interesting enough by the site as whole it stats at the top.

Why try to declare or engineer a topic of the day?

If it is a good topic it becomes topic of the day by default.

If the NFL insists on doing this, IMO the best way is to send 4 teams over. Maybe the whole AFC South. Have Jax vs Tennessee and Indy vs Houston the first week for instance. Then switch dance partners and schedule Jax vs Indy and Tennessee/Houston. That way everyone has the same benefit of being in place for 2 weeks.

    love this!
