  1. Ok so whatever you do.....DO NOT EVER HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH BASIL CHEVY on transit road in Lancaster.

My girlfriend owns a 2006 equinox with 24k miles on it. Still on the original factory warranty and also bought the extended warranty. So we tow the vehicle to the shop because its spitting transmission fluid all over my driveway (you can see where the leak started half way up the driveway).

The line was broke where it connects. They fail to cover it under warranty.....saying there was impact........what the F is going to impact JUST THAT LINE and cause it to break and not do any damage to the air dam (which is lower than the line) or any other areas of the vehicle.

Im sorry but there is nothing other than a little snow in the driveway. it couldn't be that because the car sat for 5 days and then was driven in sub zero temperatures caused the line to break. This is just HORRIBLE service. I talked to someone at west herr chevy as well as someone at Gillogly and they said they would have covered it under warranty that it is really up to the dealer.

When I questioned the guy whose name is something like Jay Theil (!@#$) or something like that he told me to "pay your bill and get out of here". Now that is what I call quality service...

Needless to say i will be in touch with the BBB and have already been in touch with GM's consumer relations dept. I will also be reaching out to the General Manager of Basil and will have all future work done at West Herr.

Just an FYI in case anyone thought about either purchasing a car or having their car repaired by these clowns you really should think twice.

Did you contact the BBB?? I wanna hear more, I hate that dealership

  2. That's actually not true anymore. Lots of people use antennas to get free OTA HD.

Antennas aren't like they used to be.

I know, I bought one a year or 2 ago when TimeWarner didn't have Fox in HD, then I switched to D* and now I really don't have a use for it anymore since I get all those channels anyways, wish I lived closer to the border to get CBC in HD
