  1. NFL | Bernard to make an undisclosed visit

    Sun, 12 Mar 2006 22:15:20 -0800

Danny O'Neil, of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, reports free agent DT Rocky Bernard (Seahawks) has a visit scheduled for the upcoming week, but his agent's office has declined to disclose his travel plans.

Maybe it is the visit Marv talked about when he spoke with the press about the 3 FA signings. I sure hope so.

  2. Here's something from the Cleveland Plain Dealer...

2." Today's Plain Dealer indicating pursuit of Coleman. "Coleman's agent, Pat Dye Jr., said he's negotiating with the Browns and that Coleman would love to play in Cleveland."

But according to ESPN on two fronts Coleman is also in talks with the Lions and secondly according to ESPN the Browns had 9 mil of cap room before Baxter and with rookie pool plus baxter contract that puts the Browns around little over a mil left. The Browns will draft a qb with the first pick.

**The Lions were the other team that Demulling was interested in. If they sign Coleman, Rick is ours. :o

  3. I think you're both nuts to get that from that. You can throw this post back at me if it happens, but I am not worried.

CBS sportline reporting a deal is close that would see HENRY go to ARIZONA for LJ SHELTON!!!

Report: Bills' Henry could soon be on way to Arizona

    Feb. 23, 2005

    Compiled From Wire Reports

The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly closing in on a deal for Buffalo Bills running back Travis Henry.

According to the Rochester Democrat and Journal the Bills would send the disgruntled Henry to Arizona in exchange for left tackle L.J. Shelton.

Henry, who topped 1,300 yards in 2002 and 2003, lost his starting job last season to up-and-coming Willis McGahee and made his feelings known that he had no desire to be a back up in 2005. He has one year left on his current contract.

Shelton was the Cardinals' 1999 first-round draft pick, but he fell out of favor with coach Dennis Green last season. He's under contract through 2008 at $3 million per season.
