  1. Dallas has some intense home/away splits and they also seem due for a clunker game coming off a big win over the Eagles. But I also think they're a really really good team. Dak is on a heater, Lamb may be the best WR in the NFL this season, Pollard is more than capable, and there are superstars on defense. I think the Bills need to play well but most importantly need to play disciplined in this one. Don't give away free yards with penalties or careless mistakes.

Great, much need win by the Bills. A loss and we were done.

Now, will someone explain to me why, with 2:12 left in the game and KC with 2 timeouts and the deuce, did the Bills try not one but 2 passes (both fell incomplete) and gave KC extra time. They should have called a run, or for that matter even downed the f^%$ing ball. They could have kicked a field goal with very little time remaining and forced KC to use one of it's timeouts if not both.

I truly cannot understand this logic. Does McDermott have zero faith in his defense?

Am I the only one who got upset at this strategy?

Agree although a screen to Diggs can essentially accomplish the same thing but he flat out dropped it. But those play calls almost cost us the game

Eh, if it turns out that he committed physical acts of violence on her and the DA has solid evidence of such, which they appear to if they put a warrant out for his arrest, then Von might have some real trouble.  Another factor is the pregnancy.  Texas is a big right to life state and if the unborn child is injured or if the woman has a miscarriage because of the trauma and they can prove that these injuries caused it, he may have real big problems.  A victim in a felony assault doesn't necessarily need to testify.  The responding officers can certainly paint a damning picture and must have for them to put out a warrant.  I'm not sure of the threshold of a felony assault in Texas, but this appears to have some weight.  When you drive in to Texas all the signs don't say welcome, they say Don't Mess With Texas...there's a reason for that.

I agree with all of this but really I'm just operating under the assumption that money talks. Even in justice-heavy states like Texas

  4. Highly doubting Von actually gets in any legal trouble. I'd guess some sort of settlement, maybe even an under the table settlement, is on its way. Not sure what that means for his cap hit but it's probably not great.

If any of this is true, I hope the woman and her baby get the protection and peace that they deserve. And I hope Von never has any type of role in the NFL ever again (front office included)

  5. I feel like situations like this involving high profile athletes often end in a settlement (public or under the table) and nothing actually happens. Or nothing ever happened. But I would have some doubts that this gets to a point where a voidable contract is even possible.

And if any of it is true, this is disgusting. Anything involving women, especially a pregnant woman, is up there for as bad as it gets in my opinion.

  6. Its really not that complicated especially if you hadnt burned the timeout to ice the kicker like youre still living in 2002. You can run a low risk play to try to pick up the first 15 or so yards. If it doesn't work, you kneel it. If it does, you get aggressive. Hell you could have even run a draw and see if cook can pick up 15.

But the bigger deal to me was kicking the field goal in overtime. The eagles defense was just as gassed as ours. You could have picked up that first down. Josh was on a heater. You have the defending NFC champions on the ropes on the road without Lane Johnson. You have to play to win the game

  7. Let's see. Our defense couldn't stop Mac Jones with the game on the line. They barely stopped Tyrod Taylor (with help). They couldn't stop Russell Wilson. Now McDermott thought a gassed defense would stop Jalen Hurts and those WRs. It's arrogance just as much as conservatism
