The defense certainly lacks creativity
Spector being out there early tonight was coaching malpractice
The lack of pass rush is still my biggest concern

The defense is doing their annual late season thing

Glad we brought in Hyde for the vibes

When's the last time the defense has made a big play

There has to be a better alternative to Spector

Its laugh out loud funny to watch a chiefs game to see the calls they'll get in a given week

Divisional games are always weird and I do think we're nearing the point (or already there) where Brady/Babich won't be emptying the playbook, won't be putting guys at risk, etc. But yeah a December game at Orchard Park against a rookie QB on a team with very little talent whose management would probably actually prefer a higher draft pick. You should win.

I still don't want to play the Ravens but no team scares me right now.

I hope Houston sneaks the 3 seed in. Happy to host say the Chargers in the wild card round and then the Texans in the divisional round

Basically no practice for a defense with different starters against one of tje best offenses in the league. I still think there are some big things to clean up but it was a good enough performance.
My only fear with the offense is that Josh is on a heater too soon. The guy looks like the best player to ever play the position right now

Bills 30 Lions 27
Instead of hyping up the Bills/Josh Allen, the media says the Lions saved their playbook/best effort for a potential Super Bowl rematch

These games are just too common from the coaching perspective. I actually think some of the decisions yesterday were 50/50 calls that unfortunately just went wrong. But when you look at how frequently things like this just go wrong, it's a troubling trend.
Defensively I just can't quite figure out how I feel. We seem to have 1-2 total clunkers per season on the defensive end. But the lack of pass rush is a real problem. Douglas hasn't been great all season and yesterday they picked on him. There are holes and McDermott/Babich have to cover them up quickly.
Just in general I thought maybe we didn't have the right preparation for this game from both an emotional and from a football perspective.

Dorian wasn't playing poorly. I'm just surprised Milano is essentially in a full-time role from day 1. That's the only thing I don't totally understand.

Longshot here but looking for a single for Sunday against Detroit. Also on a tight budget but happy to buy you a beer or 6 at the game. DM or text me at 618 363 5761. We've never lost a game I've attended if that helps

Lions get the mini bye and a gameplan on how to annihilate our defense. Hopefully Sean is ready to adjust

Losing a cross country road game against a good team with a great coach coming off an emotional win is fine. But 2 things that concern me that seem consistent
1) lack of a pass rush in big moments
2) in game coaching blunders
