    The Texans are being overrated.

I said it yesterday - people should check their schedule last season.  They didn't beat many good teams.  They'll have a 1st place schedule this year, and won't catch teams by surprise like they did in '23.

Not that they won't be in contention, but they haven't proven much to me yet.

Kinda sounds like our team, ouch.

I see it more as a football business move.  Clearing his cap hits going forward as he ages will benefit the team.

Yep. Today's GMs have to have good business sense, and even a little bit of luck.

It's truly real-world fantasy football with contracts.

Would Diggs be gone if he was a not such a headache, that's the question. If no, then it's a bad deal. Whenever you have to unload a talented player because of his antics, you usually get fleeced.

His role really diminished after they canned Dorsey. Maybe that's a coincidence, maybe it's not.

I mentioned OBJ because he is similarly toxic, threw Eli & Baker under the bus, the Rams released him, now the Ratbirds. Diggs had a couple good QBs with Cousins & Allen, and still whines. I say good riddance.

Wouldn’t work though. They’re offering comparable seating in the new building . If a large portion were to downgrade to a lower level of seating , they’d run out of customers for the premium seating and have to slash prices.  Their approach is understandable Vs purely by seniority.

So over priced seats are ok? Rhetorical question obviously.

Here's the thing. You've got a family who's been a loyal Bills customer since the 60s, and the Bills are telling that family they may potentially lose out on their seats, because they didn't splurge for the pricier seats over time? It's wrong.

The Raiders beat the Vikings in the Super Bowl in 1977. Anyway, McDermott isn't get fired anytime soon. Now Don Granato that might be a different story.

    Yes they did.

Prior to that they were kind of snake bit. Couldn't get past Pittsburgh, finally did & Denver was in their way.

Soon, the NFL will have few stadiums, like destination amusement parks, casinos and resorts, where all teams play.  You and I will watch on 105 inch high def televisions in our home.   It makes little sense to have 32 $2 billion stadiums for 8 games a year.  it’s coming.

This stadium won’t be relevant for thirty years.  Nothing is, anymore.

So we're going to "fan" remotely😁

TBH going into the playoffs I feared them more than I feared KC.

    Same.

They were really banged up with injuries (like the Bills). Never saw a team with 3rd & 4th string starting OTs make the playoffs, especially after losing a stud RB in Chubb and the predator at QB.

So what transpired in 2023 that makes you think it wasn’t like 2021? Just curious about your statement since Bills were eliminated by the same team.

The Bengals is what I'm referring to. Many Bills fans perceive the Bengals & Chiefs as the lone AFC threats to Buffalo.

9-8 with no Burrow....he's coming back this season

Right. They finished behind Cleveland, who was also decimated with injuries, & Pittsburgh, who had QB issues.

Yes, Burrow makes a difference but Cincy is still the 4th best team in the AFC North.

    Probably Allen or Burrow.

The AFC is better than the NFC, and Mahomes, Allen & Burrow are the top 3 QB's in the AFC.  Both Burrow & Allen have rosters than can win it all.

Hope it's Allen, but it wouldn't shock me if Burrow won next.

BenGals went 9-8 last season. Not convinced they are a threat.

Russel Wilson, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers.. all great QBs. Once they turned about 32-33 they just got weird…

Big Ben was weird from day 1.

Imagine being that talented, and playing all those years, never getting any kind of endorsement deal(s). The guy was shady, maybe as much as Watson, but the sheriff in Georgia let him off the hook.

What an incredibly terrible trade and lost draft picks.  Add the money/cap hit that will paralyze the team for the next two seasons.  And people complain about Beane?  😆

Funny thing is that John Elway was the mastermind behind this. Denver's QB situation has been real bad for awhile.

Paxton Lynch is still out there haha.

Steelers are dumb if they don't jump on this.

A 70% Russ is better than Pickett and Rudolph combined.

No. Denver & Pittsburgh deserve another 30 years of crap football.

They won't get much that is for sure if a trade is worked. But maybe a team is willing to take a chance on him. From a physical skills standpoint he is pretty good. He can make all the throws you need to make at the NFL level. He can scramble to avoid the rush as well as make plays running like Josh does. With him it's all mental. He doesn't trust what he is seeing out there and understanding what looks the defense is giving him. It's a big reason why he makes bad decisions with the ball. Throwing INT's or taking sacks because he holds on to the ball too long. I don't know if that is fixable or not.

I think it's fixable short-term, but long term maybe not. I think that's the same problem Mayfield has, trusting what he sees. Perhaps it's because they are both on the shorter size for a QB at 6' tall.

The AFC was incredibly bad back then so it was no surprise that most of them were so lopsided. I think they lost about a dozen SB’s in a row during that period. It pissed me off that Denver was the team to finally win one.

1984-1996, 13 AFC losses in a row. But it wasn't because the AFC was bad...

Cleveland was really good, couldn't get past Elway.

Houston's Run & shoot struggled in the red zone.

Denver, well their defense really sucked in their SBs.

Cincy was pretty solid, the Raiders as well.

I will argue - while it is a great show of humanity to have a loser parade, if this is the prevailing attitude of management then it makes sense they never got it done.  They kept Norwood on thru the following season.  While he didn't bite them in the butt at the worst possible moment in 1991 (he tried against the Raiders), I'm sure the players see that and know at an unspoken personal level they're safe if they have an off day too.  Not what you need at the most elite level of your profession.

Also, I feel this fanbase today would have a bigger turnout for the "awe shoot, we came up short again" parade.  It's more about the peppa pig moments and less about the on field results.

I've always said a 47 yarder was not a sure thing, especially back then. I never had any angst towards Norwood.
