  1. I don't think anyone knew what to think when JA was drafted. Most were disappointed, I being one of them. However, it took next to no time for him to win some people over. The way he carried himself and his desire to win really shined through. Personally, the winning moment for myself was the hurdle over the Minnesota player to get a first down in his first season. From that moment on the potential was too hard to ignore. He said all of the right things and it wasn't hard to figure out the desire he had to get better. He has the heart to win and the physical tools to match his quick processing time. He is Intelligent, young and gifted. Other players want to be around a guy who leaves it all out on the field and that is how JA leads this team. It is who is and more than likely why he won the coaching staff over that drafted him.

He was the steal of the draft.

The Buffalo Bills were over due to get it right in regards to a complete QB and on that draft day in 2018 they did just that.

#1 in yardage differential as well as #1 in point differential.   Those are very meaningful stats.

But I'll grant you that W-L records are also meaningful stats - the most meaningful of all.

Still, the Jags loss - or any of our other losses - won't mean nada if we go on a winning streak starting right now.  And we just might be talented enough to do that.

One down! Three more to go. Go Bills!

  3. People who complain about McD must have short term memory loss. The ***** show circus that was the Buffalo Bills, that nearly spanned two decades is but a memory thanks in large part to this guy. Not too long ago, it was almost embarrassing to say one was a Bills fan. Some people didn't even know who the Buffalo Bills were, as in they had zero relevance in the league. This single hire was STEP 1 in making this team relevant again. 4-5 years in the playoffs....be thankful!

  4. The weather is a huge factor. When the weather is bad and a team has a good running attack they can still be successful. In the New England game one could see that if Allen threw to one side of the field he was accurate, the other and the wind took hold and it effected the accuracy a great deal. The bottom line is in a place like Buffalo there has to be a competent run game to compensate for weather. If the Bills were playing week to week in a dome it would be lights out for the rest of the league. That is not the case, however, and in the case of the New England game the Patriots did what made sense for an offense to do in a game with 50mph wind gust. The Bills could not match the Patriots run attack on offense and could not stop it on defense. Allen needs a Thurman Thomas to complete the trifecta for when the weather is bad and throwing isn't as solid of an option.

  5. Runningback by committee is great for keeping all the backs out of rhythm. It works as a good change of pace in certain situations, otherwise it should be used sparingly. Twenty carries for a single back should be the standard minimum for a lead back and all other carries can be spreads amongst the others.

  6. There is no such thing as an easy game. While the opposition may not all be playoff caliber they will be bringing their A game to the table to try and beat the teams that are playoff caliber. While this applies in college ball where there is a large discrepancy in talent the talent gap in the NFL is much smaller. This team overall has a great head coach and the team takes on his demeanor. This team knows where they are and where they want to be.
