A redzone offense with Knox/Kincaid at TE, and Claypool and Coleman out wide is intriguing. Claypool is a great run-blocker, which is something we don't have at WR right now.

I think we'll lean on the run game and 2 TE sets until Josh has chemistry with his new receivers. I think Shakir will be his go-to target over the first half of the season.

I hope Keaton Bills makes the team just so I can get his jersey

Davis is explosive, he’s got great burst and great acceleration. You want a guy that can burst through holes and accelerate past defenders. Way more important than his peak untouched straight line speed because that so rarely comes into play.
The stat that shows his quick acceleration is his 10 yard split of the 40 yard dash. Davis had the same speed in the first ten yards as Isaac Guerendo who ran a 4.33 forty

Justin Simmons and Eddie Jackson are still available and at this point in free agency, they might be willing to sign 1-year incentive filled contracts after June 1st.

I think we just need to bring in one more veteran boundary cb and we're in decent shape
At safety, I just hope Bishop and Edwards look good in training camp so we don't need to bring back a 33 year old Micah Hyde

Smoot has a decent chance to make the roster considering our lack of depth at DE.
Claypool needs to drop some weight (240 lbs) and his bad attitude.

There are still a number of positions that could be fortified with some Post June 1st free agent signings.
I think Quinton Morris, KJ Hamler, Toohill, and Ingram are just placeholders for now.

I think Dawkins will be gone and replaced by a 1st round rookie. Out of the interior guys, Torrence is the most likely to remain with the team on his rookie contract. Spencer Brown is facing a make-or-break season and will only be extended if he can stay healthy and improve his pass protection.

I thought both rapp and edwards deals were mainly depth. Neither deal was even top 10 of what was given out in free agency and from an AAV perspective both are below the top 32 at S.Interested to see what Elam can do with a new secondary coach and defensive coordinator. Hopefully he's coming to camp ready to rock.
I think the lack of big signings or high draft picks at the cb position was a sign that the coaching staff has some level of trust in Elam as the 3rd outside cornerback. Training camp and preseason will be even more important this year with all the position battles and a bigger rookie class than most years (10 picks) and a ton of UDFA's.

There are only two certainties in the NFL:
Brandin Cooks will always get traded
Yannick Ngakoue will always be a free agent

The Keon Coleman pick makes Deebo even less of an option for the Bills. If we sign a wr, it will probably be one of the available free agents like OBJ, Gallup, Boyd, Chark, or Michael Thomas for a 1-year deal with a null year to lessen the cap hit.

I'm not too worried about the safety position because Poyer and Hyde were noticeably slower last year, yet we still had a top ranked defense.
I think Rapp is the odd man out at safety. He showed very little in the way of coverage skills for us last season and I was surprised that he was re-signed. He'll still probably get some reps as a big nickel and in 3 safety looks.
I'm more worried about our depth at outside cornerback considering our only option behind Benford and Douglas is Kaiir "Healthy Scratch" Elam

I think Coleman could have fallen to the 3rd round if the Bills didn't take him at #33 and we somehow got only one receiver from a historically deep draft at the position.
However, I do like most of the other picks and I think Ray Davis will be a beast.

I'm shocked that Leonard Taylor went undrafted. He was projected as a 3rd rounder on a lot of draft sites.

I bet he will make the team as a gunner on special teams

This guy sucks can't separate and never makes plays. Other than the 85 catches on 87 targets 🤔 🤷♂️ 🤣
Those are just dropped passes. Coleman had 115 catches on 192 targets in college. That's under 60% catch percentage.

Any player coming off a concussion should wear this the next week

I think Beane will trade down one more time to ~40 and take the best receiver left and pick up a 4th, then he'll cobble together all his 5th and 4th round picks to sneak back into the 3rd round.
-
They should just make it a 20 week season with 18 games and 2 bye weeks.

I don't want an expensive injury plagued wide receiver that the offensive coordinator has to "scheme open". Aiyuk would be much more valuable to us

I doubt Beane is staying put at #33. He has probably been comparing trade packages all day.

Reminds me of when Troy Vincent broke JP Losman's Leg in practice. Shakir is likely the top receiver heading into training camp and we can't afford to lose him.
