  1. After watching a few other games today, I have one main thought about tonight’s game. If we didn’t have a scrambling quarterback, we would’ve lost. Josh’s ability to get away from a pass rush and improvise was the key to both TD drives. We really need a play call overhaul.  The other teams aren’t being fooled very often.   Buy hey, it’s a win.

  2. After watching Geno Smith, I am so thankful we have Josh Allen!  Geno didn’t throw another interception, he just held the ball until the d-line hit him on 2 consecutive 4th downs from inside the 10! Unbelievable lack of pocket presence!

  3. What I’ve learned from Araiza Curse in this thread :

    1.  Tom Brady won Super Bowls because he studied film more than any QB in the history of the NFL….. it’s amazing AC was able to compile the necessary facts for this declaration.

    2. Jim Kelly wasn’t smart enough to win Super Bowls…….so, that means if Kelly was smarter, Norwood wouldn’t have missed the 41 yard field goal.

    3. Josh doesn’t study enough film to win Super Bowls……so, if Josh would’ve studied more film, he wouldn’t have left KC with 13 seconds to score.

    4. AC’s logic skills aren’t the best.

Yes it's wierd.   We're getting a beautiful new stadium to keep the team in WNY for decades.  The team posts a video with alot of insite to the building process and look of the stadium, and everyone makes sarcastic and negative comments.  Some people don't allow themselves to enjoy life.

I think a lot of people didn’t take the time to actually watch the video.  It’s definitely a great video that shows what went into the design of the new stadium. I’m impressed with the entire project. The Pegulas really did focus on the fan experience and I think that will be the overriding legacy of the stadium.  I’ll be very excited to travel back to Buffalo and see it in person in a few years!

  5. Very good article on Zay Jones. It shows how little I & most fans really know about the players.  I wasn’t a fan of Jones here in Buffalo, but I am now.  I hope he has a great rest of his career (except when he plays against Buffalo!).  Zay can be an inspiration to a lot of young people struggling today.

Josh gets more credit for being locked in and prepared than what he is.

The frustrations started around October, 2022.

The level of between game preparation changed considerably year over year. Hunger may be the same from Josh but what he’s doing about it isn’t.

Little media or fan accountability towards Josh. He can do no wrong so nothing is going to change. Content with being very wealthy and a “celebrity” although in the media he only talks about winning. Actions don’t back up that focus, instinct and intense commitment it takes to win consistently.

Reiterate again very little scrutiny of Josh.

Winning consistently and in the biggest moments takes a locked in, all in, all the time, sacrifice that Josh doesn’t have but is given credit for. He’s good but still has a ceiling that he hasn’t approached. Athleticism and “running into defenders” is masking preparatory opportunity areas.

Not about numbers, rushing yards, playing “hurt.” That’s all narrative. How is everyone preparing and staying focused throughout the season to overcome the obstacles.

Source: immediate family member who volunteer at Sherwood High School. Maybe they made it all up. Made they’re embellishing. Maybe she’s flexing because she has a Diggs familial connection. Who knows.

Don’t give a ***** if you don’t believe me. I log in once a year. Had a little information that you might care about or might not. Thought I’d share.

Thanks for sharing. This story, from a Diggs familial connection, adds to my belief in the underlying problem. Diggs can’t stand that Josh is getting the recognition that Diggs wants.  The “he can do no wrong “ comment about Allen shows underlying jealousy on Diggs part. Diggs actions regarding the Bills this offseason are self-centered and immature. I don’t see this ending well. It looks like Minnesota part 2.

  7. Today’s Diggs news is just a confirmation of his entire offseason attitude. He’s been acting like a self-centered diva who has a me first attitude. He was throwing a fit on the sideline of the Cincinnati game.   He’s quietly and not so quietly continued to throw a fit ever since. Diggs hasn’t made positive comments on any new free agent signees or draft picks, he does make cryptic drama quotes, etc.  I think the only positive Bills related comments were about former Bill, Cole Beasley.  He retweeted McKenzie, Edmunds & Tyrod Taylor, but no current Bills.

BTW, Vikings fans are laughing. They saw the same Diggs there that we’ve seen since January.

Josh Allen is again having to take the high road and clean up a PR mess Diggs created. It’s been happening since the playoffs.  Allen’s been a great friend and defender of Diggs. I’m hoping Diggs will eventually return the favor, but I’m not holding my breath.

Drove past the stadium today on Abbot Rd. Out in the middle of the lot where the new stadium will be is  single steam shovel.

I was at the  Browns- Bills playoff game back in 1990 at old Cleveland Municipal Stadium on Lake Erie. Dumped our coals on the Lake ice after tailgating and they had port-a-pottys in the concourse outside the bathrooms.

I went to a Cleveland Indians game at the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium 30+ years ago. It was a night game in April and with the wind coming off Lake Erie, it was the coldest baseball game I’ve ever been to.  Its old nickname,”the mistake on the lake” , kept coming to mind.  My wife & I brought a blanket from the hotel and had to fight off the Indians mascot (at that time it looked kind of like the Phillies fanatic mascot), who kept trying to borrow our blanket!

I’m thrilled & relieved that the Bills are officially staying where they belong, in Buffalo!

Who said Poona Ford was going to be the backup 1 tech?  Beane?

Poona Ford has played his best football over the outside shoulder of the guard..........which is Ed Oliver's position in the Bills D.......3T.

I've always viewed him as a penetrating 3T.

The same people that said we drafted Dorian Williams to be a backup LB.  Next we will hear we signed Poona to play special teams.

  10. The more game film I watch, the more I like the pick. He’s very fast, hits hard, tackles well, & shows good instincts. Yes, he’s only 228 lbs, but he’s still 21. I don’t think we should underestimate his potential. I could see him develop into a really good LB for us.  I see way more potential than I saw with Bernard.  I think we’re going to have a hard time keeping him off the field.

If he is innocent I hope he gets the money.  Too much of this madness going on.  I have a corporate job and travel.  I refuse to be alone with a woman who is not my wife anywhere.

That is very wise. I’m retired now, but I kept that rule over my years running a business. My wife of 38 years also approved of that practice!

  12. The tough part of the game deciding defensive holding call is you can probably find some type of defensive holding (or offensive holding) on more than 50% of NFL plays.  But, it should be an extremely blatant & obvious defensive hold to throw a flag that basically decides the outcome of the game.

That defensive holding call was not blatant or obvious. Therefore, it was a horrible call. The NFL needs to learn from basketball’s unwritten rulebook that a foul on a last second shot must be very blatant and obvious before the foul is called.

I'm not crazy about the bogus flag or the ending but what really makes you think KC wasn't scoring on that drive anyway. It's not like he was awarded 1st down at the 50.

Without the flag, it was 4th & 8. So yes, KC still kicks the FG. But, Philly would’ve had almost 2 minutes to go tie it up or win it.  That penalty WAS the end of Philly’s chance to win. It ended the game.
