Continuing on with the posts of opponents we are playing the coming week where we are playing them. I am going with the Raiders at Bills 1990 AFC Championship game. You have to click on the link to watch it because the NFL likes to block 33 year old games from being used on message board forums. But as we know, we destroyed the Raiders in this one 51-3 en route to our first Super Bowl as a franchise. We were hitting on all cylinders and I hope we can bounce back and do the same this week. Sit back and watch this beauty and enjoy. As always.....Go Bills!!!!!

Did I see Terry Pegula in the stands right after Talley’s touchdown?!

I don’t know any of the facts leading to this parting of the ways, but I would bet the house that this was “not the plan all along” as a few have suggested.

Yeah, I’m wondering if there was an “office culture issue”.

I don’t understand people that want diggs gone. I’d rather have a pouty all pro receiver than an average David Nelson, Josh Reed, Gabe Davis receiver type that under performs. Last good consistent Wr we had besides Diggs was Eric Moulds. And that was 2003. No wonder our drought was so long

I don’t think he is complaining about Diggs.   Just the constant speculation and he said she said stuff.

I like the idea of trading #27 for a 2nd and a 3rd, but it really depends on who is available. If Bijan, Njigba, Addison, Hyatt, Flowers, Broderick Jones or Paris are there, no way on God’s green Earth would I trade down. But in the right situation, trading down for Avila, Dawand or Charbonnet is not a bad idea at all. It all depends.

Those are the only reasons someone might trade up!

I'm really not clear on that bit about the G and C being more important.  I think with the O operating so much out of shotgun, and with Josh sometimes dropping back from that, the DL can go wide and get a clear bead on Josh if the OTs don't have good lateral movement.

Obviously I'm trying to wipe it from my memory banks, but I seem to recall the Bengals rushing wide from the right side and just beating Brown like a drum.

I hear you…my thought was if the middle holds up better Josh has options…step up in the pocket, take off through a gap, or beat an edge rusher on the outside.  If the middle doesn’t hold up, which it seems like was also a problem, his only option is to try to beat the edge rusher.

  6. I’m not sure if this is right but with a QB like Josh aren’t the guards and the center more important than the tackles?  He can help neutralize the edge rushers with his feet. I really think Browny will improve this year, but I think it’s the guard play that we needed reinforcement.

So I’m here in the Bahamas, down in the Exuma islands, and we sailed our boat past Jerry’s mega yacht, he is anchored at Sampson Cay, near Staniel cay, has two helicopter pads on it , a plunge pool etc etc, “Bravo Eugenia” ( named after his wife)  is 358 feet long, beam is 53.5 feet, with 30 crew on board, He was on board doing the cowboys draft last year…. A 225 million dollar boat Jerry’s is reported to be worth 13 plus Billion, the cowboys franchise is reportedly 8.8 billion of that amount..,  the sailing has been really good this season, and the weather for the most part has been spectacular, will be back up in Connecticut in early June, gets to hot down here in the summer,

Fair winds, and following seas,  fellow Bills fans, its going to be a spectacular season this year!!!

How does the other half live?!

    JK…enjoy!

If they can’t keep nice grass in Tennessee into Nov.-Dec., I just question the logic / intelligence of this Bills stadium planning.

Nice concept to play on grass. But the reality will kick us in the face in the first season of it. It’s not enough to keep a field warm to get grass to grow and be a stable playing surface. In the north, grass stops taking in nutrients in mid-October and starts to go into a dormant state. If you’re going to try to fool Mother Nature, it needs a lot of light, the right amount of water & nutrients, and sometimes it’s more art than science… and sometimes despite everything you do, it goes breasts-up and you’ll have to cart in replacement sod for one or two games (that in one year just for it, will cost 1/4 of what a monofilament turf would) like they do in GB and Pitt many times, and then it’s still unstable footing, sod coming up in clumps, and guys getting knees and ankles trashed.

Prediction: we invest in all of the costs for grass, try it for two years and then have to switch to artificial turf due to feasibility & cost issues as well as pressure from the league & NFLPA.

Again… if they can’t grow decent enough grass in Tennessee below the Mason-Dixon, what freaking hope is there in Buffalo?

    That’s good knowledge…Carl Spackler?

Oh I love the one Airplane movie I saw which must have been the original...

Is that the one where Leslie Nielsen says "I am serious, and don't call me Shirley".

And, Little girl says, no thank you.  I take it black, like my men.

And, I picked the wrong week to start sniffing glue.

We're all those from the original?  Now I'ma have to check out the sequels.  All I know Leslie Nielsen was a comedic GOD...RIP

You tell your dad I bust my but up and down the court every night!

Every day before the game, I listen to this ***** song because somehow it became a tradition:

I think of football, "ohhh im a wreck without you here..."

On gameday I listen to this, as tradition, again not so much because I want to at this point

I was on that bus at the beginning of the video! I think those guys are from Rochester. Great guys.  They have a big speaker on top and the always make announcements about records being broken. For example “569 shots served today…a new record!”  And the number always includes 69

I guess Josh Allen needs to check with Marlton Bills before he endorses any product.

    Memo to Bills fans.

You dont have to approve or like,  much less purchase any product and Bill endorses.

    Lighten up Francis
