Yeah and I think that Patriots team today wouldn't come close to winning it all. That was the end of an era for the NFL where a strong running game and a good defense was enough to win a Super Bowl. Then in quick succession Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert all came onto the scene. The NFL collectively decided to let offensive lines hold. We're in a new era now. If you don't have the horses on offense, you're on the outside track.

And that Patriots team probably wouldn't have made it to the Super Bowl to begin with if Dee Ford hadn't jumped Offside. I know you can find those examples in every game, but that year was a good example of the transition I'm talking about. A young Mahomes with an elite offensive supporting cast almost knocked off a dynasty at the end of its run.

Going to have to disagree a tad here, which is alright we all can have our opinions.
Ford did jump Offside, or so the call was. can’t change that.

The penchant for more offense, more points and pleasure for a “I want it more society”, I would argue that in fact a strong running game is what helped the eagles last season to a SB, helped KC prior years reach the SB. Be it to kill the clock, get that much needed 1st down or a string goal line push. A string run game has opened up Buffalos victories (coupled with outstanding defensive play) the last 3 weeks.

For the new generation of QBs you named, only one has hosted the desired trophy.
    Parody is king still.

I'm sure you do...I'll be handing out refunds all week. Sean proved to me today he does have what it takes to win a SB.  He coached like a HOFer today. And as others actually said,  it was a Masterclass.  Now you have to excuse me while I make room in my freezer for all that crow.

I follow your posts often as you are one of the better around. Don’t eat too much of that crow as the ball is oddly shaped and bounces funny. Your a fan like the rest of us we run on emotions. It’s all good amigo

He's blaming them for drafting Wilson & not replacing him by now.  Imagine if we had drafted Rosen & then brought in a veteran to replace him in 2020 & had to keep Rosen for salary cap reasons and the veteran got hurt & was out for the season in the 1st series.  This board would be calling for Beane's & McDermott's jobs.  Heck, people are calling for their jobs every day around here now.

Rightfully so. Drafting #17 people DID call for some to be fired.
Do it once shame on you, twice…. Shame on you some more!! lol

I think the Dolphins running up the score is going to piss a lot of people off in the NFL.  Going to put a bigger target on their back (late hits, fights in game, etc.).  No real need to try to put up 80 points.

It really don’t look like they are “trying” Denver can’t stop a nose bleed. Seems like Miami could pull someone out of the stands and hand them the ball for a couple 50 yard runs.

Zach Wilson has 9 career wins in the NFL. He has 2 of those against Josh Allen. He has never beaten any other QB in the NFL more than once.

Everyone is talking about the Dolphins and the Pats but we need to get this dude out of the division!

No, he did nothing on D, nor call any play that stopped 17 from taking short shots that moved the ball ALL night. Wilson benefited from bad play and play calling. If Havkett were a smart person he could’ve ran Hall all night
