The right mix between air and ground
Italian Bills replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Then what’s the solution ? -
So true pal. If Mr Irrilevant is looking for real… like Montana.. how would Josh look in that team ? A mix of Montana, Marino, Kelly, Manning, Brady, etc etc etc ? 😄
-
As i said, being cocky isn’t a good thing, never.
-
Problem is: can the Bills reach the SB ? Them very likely, we not so easy.
-
I hope you’ll miss badly your prediction 😄

Got the point bro ! Thanks for the correction my friend, probably people did’t get i was reffering ad the SAN FRANCISCO FORTYNINERS. That said, even you are playing at an elite level, the best in the nfl, doesn’t mean you have to be an arrogant #######.

Usually players act like their Coach show them and Shanahan has that type of way to be. I said it once again: how many times you saw MacClapplin furious at the refs against the plenty of bad calls we receive every game ? Look at Shanahan… he literally eats them ! The players aren’t indifferent at it.

Exactly, use your backs properly Dorsey ! Cook with his quickness and speed in open field is deadly, don’t run him against a wall every single time. Makes Murray and Harris the ones that break the LOS. -
Honestly, the arrogance lately showed from some of their players, in primis Samuel and Kittle, is something that make me starting hate that team, maybe even more than KC or Cincy. They are playing great if not the best football (weak conference), but their attitude is becoming pretty annoying. They would deserve a good beat in the face.

It would be enough to be more creative with the running plays, use more counter, slant, pitch, off tackle… mix more, not always use Cook to run inside for no gain or worse if not in some rare case. You go straight against the LOS with Harris or Murray, not with Cook. -

Isn’t maybe the time that the Clapman talks to Dorsey about his play calling ? But maybe he’s just too loyal with him, too much a good boy after all. How many times did you see him furious at the refs when they call bad penalties to us ? Pretty never. Maybe we would need a bulldog and not a cocker in many situations… and be sure that players can see that. -

But if almost everyone here has a recipe to solve our offense issues, why KD can’t see that also ? I mean, we are all very normal football fans, Dorsey is a professional football coach, how is that possibile that he can not see the things that hundreds of fans here see ? A mystery… -

Agree and believe me, the problem is to find a way to generate 100+ yards on the ground, bacause through the air we can have from 250 up every single game -

Of course something have to be fixed and fixed now, not in 4/5 weeks. I’m sure we have the players to create 35/40 points a game, nothing less than what SF is doing eith a QB named Brock Purdy, with all the credit is no JOSH ALLEN. -

So what would be the right way to establish a productive running game ? With what plays ? In what situations ? For what i can see we run almost exclusively inside routes, almost never outside the LOS, many teams do that with great results. Why is that ? -
Jets lose Alijah Vera-Tucker for the season

Good luck for your recovery, colors don’t matter. -
Based on the personal we have, in your opinion, what would have to be the right percentage of the total offensive plays between the pass game and run game ? I know that every game can force you to change your plan, but in general ? Do you think that this Bills team would be good for a 65/35 split between the two ways where 65 % is dedicated at the offense ? I always said that when the Bills run over the 100 yards, we win. Jets game: Bills 97 - L Raiders game: Bills 183 - W Commanders: Bills 168 - W Phins game: Bills 104 - W Jaguars game: Bills 29 - L Just a case ? Don’t think so. We desperately need our ground yards to open up the game on the air.

“ For Srephon and Josh there may be a silver lining to the clound here: the pressure will be off to win it all. Now it's just a "go out and so your best season." “ Why not after all ? It could very be that way.

Unfortunately everybody here was here this past season hoping that the FO to makes the “big splash” adding another studd thread at this offense.. but it never happened and honestly this was very delusional. With a due like Diggs and one of those mentioned above, good luck at trying to stopping us “other nfl teams”.

Even if you are a Pats fan you are always polite, full of good words for the Bills and objective. I appreciate this very much, you are very loyal. Hat off. Maybe he lacks of creativity, what you think ? Besides all the right things you mentioned i mean. Uhmmm… i’m not so sure, of course it would help. 😁

I supported the same concept about the offense, with the difference that Dorsey have ton of talent to work on, maybe is time to use it the right way.

Never been a pro, ma played soccer for about 25 years, i ski and i’m a road cyclist, so i know something about sport and competitiveness. It’s a just a normal reaction that you can have when your team lose 2/3 starters because bad injuries and you feel your team is not strong enough anymore to win the championship. This doesn’t mean that you are a joke. It could be that way also, of course.
