  1. If you watch the replay, everybody running a route is going half speed. Coleman is doing an over exaggerated "I'm open" thing. So I think it was designed to go to Hawes and basically almost like a trick play where they were thinking the Raven just wouldn't be expecting that play to the player.

  2. Bernard and Milano were both horrible. Half the time they were still moving around confused at the snap of the ball. They spent the entire game either over pursuing, making the wrong read, or getting swallowed up by blocks. Bernard in particular looked completely gassed, like he was out of shape. Just an awful game for both of them.

  3. Haven't trusted Bass for a season and a half now. You watch other games and other teams kickers are just routinely knocking in clutch kicks. The Bills need a better kicker. I would be fine with Prater the rest of this season but they will need somebody else to kick off. I don't think he got even one touchback. And that's in September. In a couple weeks when the wind picks up 41 year old leg strength ain't gonna cut it.

  4. Hawes is legit an excellent blocker. It's refreshing to have a guy come in and actually display the bold print skill in his draft profile. As far as his catch, it was pretty lucky. Gotta catch it away from the body and he waited for it to hit his chest. Maybe it was just the angle of the throw or whatever that kept him from getting his hands out but most of the time the bounce isn't going to be that fortunate.

  5. Deone Walked broke the cardinal rule of blocking for FG's which is always taking the guy to your inside. For whatever reason he let the guy on his inside go and took the guy on the outside. Maybe blocking for FG's is new for him but that's a boneheaded play every coach through little loop would be pissed about.

  6. Lol. He's right. I love it. Something about Buffalo sports....... It's not just negativity. I don't know what it is. As soon as we get a good player we want to trade them away. As soon as we have a great exec we want to tear them down. As soon as we have a good thing going it's like we have to find a way to tank it. Buffalo sports media is the most toxic of the toxic. Not just because it's historically been filled with loudmouths, but because the loudmouths don't know ***** about sports. And they infect the fan base with it. Lindy Ruff is the Sabres head coach because the media and fans basically demanded it, and Lindy Ruff is a terrible ***** coach. So good on Beane. Shut these ***** up already.

Replace the 6th OL with a blocking TE that can get out in routes unlike Anderson.

Breaks up some of the predictability to the Big Set with 6OL on the field.

I was thinking the same thing. They were literally using an offensive lineman for this exact role just last year. How could anybody be upset about using a 5th round comp pick on an actual TE who can do it.

I remember one goal line stop against the Titans I believe that was impressive, but not much else outside of that play. Rooting for him to step up, we need him.

This 4th down stop at 5:48 vs the Titans is one I was thinking of. Unfortunately for him the announcer incorrectly credited Smoot, but it was Carter.

It’s pretty foolish to write a draft pick off after one season, but Carter gives me Boogie Basham vibes. I don’t see anything he does particularly well, no overwhelming power, size, or athleticism. He’ll have to step it up for sure if these draft picks come in balling.

He actually had a couple of big time stops right before he got injured. Then when he came back he didn't do much.
